I honestly don't understand the bad reviews for this hair mask. It is phenomenal and I honestly prefer it over my Biolage and Oribe hair masks. My hair is really damaged and after a horrible trip to the salon where they bleached my hair and damaged it severely, i used this and it made my hair so much softer and manageable.
The only con for this is the expensive price, but this is a salon product and they are all in the same price range or even more expensive.

Oh how I love this product. I completely ignore the directions and use this as an extended leave in conditoner. After shampooing and conditioning as usual, I apply this generously to wet hair and throw it up in a top knot. I wear my hair like this the entire day! It makes for such a glossy, healthy looking bun! I've even gone as far as leaving this product in for 3 days. Once my hair dries naturally in the top knot with the product in it, it is super soft, shiney and supple. I've repurchased 3 times and use the mask about once a week. My hair dresser noticed the difference in the condition of my hair.

I have thick-ish, naturally wavy hair, which I colour professionally and straight-iron regularly. This mask is a little annoying due to the double shampoo which is needed, but it really softens my ends which get quite dry and a little 'crispy.'

The texture of the mask is a little unusual - very thick and with little granules. I wash my hair with Kerestace afterwards, then apply a little Oscar Blandi straightening creme and voila glossy, healthy bouncy hair

I have only tried this product once but I have to gush about it! I was a little put off by the original price--about $24 USD--but I got it on sale at Walgreens. I washed my hair, let it dry a bit then worked a not too large amount (it doesn't take much) into my length and just a little on my scalp because I have an oily scalp. I let it sit for 30 minutes then rinsed it out. I fell asleep before I could braid my hair like I usually do because I don't have time to fix my hair in the morning. I woke up, worried about I would tame my dry, frizzy, wavy hair with little time. But my hair was so soft and shiny and hardly frizzy at all! I went to school without any product in my hair for the first time in years. So far, I absolutely LOVE this stuff. So hydrating without being heavy or greasy. Some people complain about the consistency of the mask. It is pretty thick, but my hair is fine and was fairly wet when I applied it, so I had no problem. If you have thick, coarse hair, you can heat up a dollop in the microwave so it spreads more evenly. I found I did not have to use very much, which makes up a lot for the price to me. However, I have fine hair and an oily scalp, so it will be different for everyone. Overall, totally amazing. And it smells AWESOME too!

I was lucky enough to find this product at Mashalls for $10 like others. Since I use the glossing cream and love it I decided to try this product out. I've used it 4 times now and I really like it. I use a good size amount coating my hair from the roots to the ends. I try my best to get it all over using my hands and them I brush the hair through and leave it in for 30-40 minute. After rinsing my hair I leave it in a towel for a few minutes (10?) and then I blow-dry my hair. My keratin treated hair gets blow-dried almost everyday and the ends feel straw-like by the end of the week. This mask makes a noticeable difference in my hair. It leaves my hair shinier/glossies and more moisturized. Rather than look friend the ends look nourished and healthy. Scent wise it isn't the most amazing smell, but at the same time, I don't find it offensive in any way. The packaging is quite simple but I love that it's in a clear tube. That way you get every drop of product out. I would definitely repurchase this product if I find it again for $10.

I can't believe the bad reviews on this. This hair mask is amazing and smells so good, I even love the texture. It reminds me of the beach. It makes my hair super soft with a lot of volume. I think people are just complaining because they want it to be free. I found mine at Marshall's for $10, but I'll definitely keep buying it again and again for full price.

decent product...definitely would not repurchase. It did make my hair a BIT softer, manageable but that's about it. There are much better products out there that are cheaper or even from FF. FF technician color care mask is HG and only takes 3 minutes and provides amazing results. This mask states 2o minutes is needed, and you need a whole lot of product and the results are just MEH. I even get better results from some regular conditioners out there. I would give 2.5 rating if I could for the price/results..because It's not horrible, didn't weigh my hair down, etc.

Great for my dry, naturally curly but colour-treated hair. I left it on for 40 mins, heated it with a hairdryer for a couple of minutes and washed it out. My hair dried leaving my curls bouncy with no frizz.

I used to use this mask religiously for 40 mins in my hair at least once a week and it did help restore moisture massively. I have since found TiGi's serious conditioner which I love as dont have to leave it in for quite so long and results with that have been really great so far (only used it once). Anyways, back to this mask - the smell is lovely, I found that with my hair I had to apply a LOT on and as mentioned before you really have to leave it on for a super looong time.. sometimes I would just put it on before going to bed and wash off in the am. Definitely a great product, as long as you are prepared to take the time to apply correctly and leave in for ages..

These people making bad comments about this product don't understand that you need heat for this product to sink in. This is a hair mask! Not to be used just in the shower and such. If you read the instructions, it says leave on for about 30in., and u r all complaining like u didn't know this before! This product needs heat for it to absorb into your hair, so sit outside for a while with this on, give it a little short blast of hot air with a blowdrier, and it will easily be absorbed into the hair. Afterwords this made my hair absolutely silk to the touch. I just sat outside near my pool for a while and honestly this stuff is amazing!! I will definitely buy this again!

For the price I thought this was going to be so moisturising for my medium length hair...but alas...this product does absolutely nothing. I'm glad to see the negative reviews and ratings because this is a complete waste-of-money product. My hair feels exactly the same after using it and not to mention it's such a pain to use because it has to be applied on freshly washed damp hair and then left on for half an hour before getting back in the shower to wash it out again! If I'm going to put that much effort into a mask treatment, I'd want it to at least do something! But this is useless. Do not waste your money on this.

I bought the conditioner because I tried the glossing spray at victoria's secret and it made my hair so shiny that I expected the same quality in this conditioner. i bought it for about $9 off ebay, a much lower price then however much it sells for. first few times made my hair softer but after that it was just like any avg hair conditioner and sometimes made my hair even dryer. skip it. and packaging is poor the top of my cap feel off and broke. but def buy the glossing spray.

This mask smelled nice and made my hair a little softer but, I was still left with some frizz. The packaging is poor, the product is gritty, and it is just not worth the price. Skip it!

While I was away, after one day of hiking my hair felt like straw. (I forgot my hat!) I stopped into this beauty supply store near the hotel and it had every line you could possibly imagine. The SA recommended the Frederick Fekkai shea butter hair mask when I shared my woes on how dry the elements made my hair. That evening, after dinner I wet my hair, let the mask sit for 45 minutes while DH and I watched TV and then washed and conditioned. Let me tell you, girlfriends.... frikken miracle. :) It totally saved my hair. Smells so good too.

Would I consider this a staple that I must always have, no, certainly not, especially for the price. But, if I was in desperate need of help, like after highlights, or too much time in the sun, I would certainly run to pick some of this stuff up!!!

Decent product, but not worth the money. It's not really a "mask" or "deep conditioner". It is buttery, a bit too gunky to distribute in the hair though. Smell is pretty neutral. You need a lot of product to cover the hair, so it'll get expensive. There are def plenty of alternatives for hair treatments.

Note: I tried this as a mask, and it was not good. As a mask, it gets 2 stars. But as a styling product, it gets 4 stars. I gave it three stars because it doesn't do what it's supposed to.

Pros: I like the smell, nice consistency, basic packaging, lots of good-for-you ingredients, adds moisture, calms frizz, de-poofs my hair, somehow makes it voluminous, shine

Cons: Some people don't like the smell (say it smells like bug spray), doesn't work as amazingly as it could in terms of frizz control, can get greasy if you apply to much

To use as a styling product, I let my hair dry almost completely, and then mix a teensy bit of this with some John Frieda Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Serum and apply all over my hair. I leave it in a ponytail until its completely dry. Then I let it down and voila! Shiny, bouncy hair. (For the record, my hair is verrrry naturally damaged; I've never colored it or heatstyled it, it's just naturally dry and frizzy. Its a weird combination of Hollywood glamour waves and stick straight when I let it dry down. It is ash blonde. It is fine in texture, but I have a lot of it. I tend to get volume near the scalp, but no where else.)

I have mixed feelings about this product. First off it is really thick, much like the consistency of butter, so it is difficult to get this product distributed to your hair. It doesn't really want to stay in your hair one you apply it either. Anyway, it seems to have made my hair a tad bit softer. I don't think the result was what I would have expected for a hair mask. I don't think it is worth it for the price.

I wasn't totally in love with this mask. It was thick and hard to rinse out, but didn't feel like it really improved my hair quality that much. My hair is pretty dry, and this didn't do as much to make it stronger or shinier as I would have liked. The fekkai products are pricey, so they have to be good to be worth it!
