The problem with this product is that is marketed in the wrong way. This is definitely not comparable by any chance to a foundation. The coverage is minimal (if any). To me, this looks more like a BB cream on the skin. It definitely evens out your skin tone and makes it look better. If you have blemishes or scars, you are definitely going to need some concealer. I use this product as a strictly as a primer and it works great. I have also just worn this if I'm going out to run errands and I don't want my full-coverage foundation on. If that is what you're looking for, this is a great product for the price. I just wish it had SPF and moisturizer so that I could really use it as a light-coverage BB cream because that is what this should be.

I was not even able to use this product. I bought it hoping my suspicions of a cheap Foundation/Primer were incorrect.... The minute i applied it to my skin my face started to tingle and burn. I had to wash it off immediately...I know that I was simply allergic to one of the ingredients but that has never happened with another foundation. Freaked me out!

I'm a little stunned by poor reviews. While I agree, it's not perfect, I think it works well as a primer. But then again, I bought it with the intent to use it as a primer not as foundation. It was only after purchasing that I realized it was also a foundation. I think it works better as a primer than it would a foundation, to me it doesn't seem like it offers enough coverage for foundation. I'd buy it again, but just as primer

Surprised at the poor reviews. I think for the price, the quality is good. I use this as I would a primer or a BB cream, and then apply my foundation over it. I hate to say it, because I am a makeup snob, but this product even rivals my La Mer Tint Skin. I don't love the smell, but the color matches my skin perfectly. I apply it over very well moisturized skin and have had no problems. This one is a winner for me!

i brought this for the primer by accident i tried it in the store looking at makeup deals I had no intent to buy since I don't wear foundation but i had tried this on my hand and blended it anyway about 15 min later i looked at my hand it it gave me the look like Avon Magix primer. so i brought it. had coupon and on sell. i love it. now it serves my purpose but if you need coverage do not buy at all please cause you be disappointed they should of called this a light tint primer not foundation. but i love it

This did not cover up anything on my skin at all. It's not worth buying. If you were to rub or scratch at your face a bit, it would ball up.

Wow I'm surprised this product got such poor reviews! Before I tried this I used Spackle. (I ran out of it one day and ran to a local drugstore for a quick fix) I decided to try this because of the price. I am getting up on years (42) and tend to have dry skin. I can't wear most foundations, they are so heavy and look terrible...no matter what it looks dry and cakey. yuck! I need something very light and this does the trick! This product evens out skin tone nicely and gives you a nice fresh look. Maybe for a younger girl who might need more coverage for acne or what not, a different product might be better, but if your looking for something light to help even out skin tone I would highly recommend!

The only nice thing to say about this product is about the packaging. Everything else is just bad. This "foundation" did 3 things to me. Dry my skin out terribly, make my face itch, and make my face burn. $5 for a small thing of foundation is very expensive, there is no coverage, it's just awful. I got this because I had been hearing such good things about WnW.

I'm really baffled why this is the only primer that doesn't break me out. There is nothing exceptional about the ingredients. Yet somehow I'm able to use this under my foundation to get a perfect polished look and have no skin irritation, dryness or breakouts.
As a foundation this does NOTHING. As a primer - this is my HG. The only reason I'm rating this 4 not 5 is that I bought it hoping it would do what it promises. It does not. There is no coverage at all.
I will buy this product again as soon as I run out of it.

I bought two colors, 176 (light/pale) and 177 (Medium/intermediate). Goes on a little runny with some crystals that need to be blended. I have pretty sensitive skin and it stung for the first 20 seconds on my skin, Then I noticed pimples by the end of the day so I had to stop using. Overall, I did not see any special effects from the primer and the color is minimal to non-existent. If there are any reviewers who want to try, I am placing this on my swap page. Can't hurt to try as a primer. I should have read the reviews before buying.

I really found this to be liquidy and no coverage at all. I dont know if its the one i got but it is super runny and does nothing for me. It gives such little coverage that it doesnt even look like i have anthing on. I have not tried it as primer yet but i had to wait forever for it to dry to even set it with my powder. Maybe again it is just the one i got but I do not like the consistancy of mine. I did not think that it was very shade adjusting either because it so sheer that there was not any pigmentation. The price was right but this product just did not work out for me.

As a foundation, its has no coverage. The texture, milky with white beads, makes it a little difficult to apply. And it looks gross.
But this product is not all that useless. As a primer, however, it works fairly well. It smooths your skin, mattifys it, and it makes foundation a bit easier to blend on your skin. It keeps oil away longer.
This product is pretty inexpensive, but I wouldn't buy this again as a foundation. As a primer, I might consider if I cant find any better (and affordable) primers.

I liked this product. I'm sure there are better foundations out there, however, for its price, this foundation did its job and didn't do any crazy things to my skin. I didn't find it to be streaky or drying at all and it didn't sting at any point of having it on. I don't know why this makes some people's skin flake, maybe its not the best for people with dry skin. But for me (I have pretty normal skin, a little bit acne-prone) it works pretty well. Just make sure not to use a brush if/when you apply it. Use your fingertips or it'll dry too fast and wont blend well.

I bought this with the intent to use as a primer that added a little bit of priming color. I was disappointed in both.
As a foundation, the product gives no color at all. What's worse, is that it leaves dark orange streaks from the so-called "shade adjusting" beads. It also varies in the amount of beads it wants to dispense.
As primer, its qualities are very watered down. Think of any regular primer, but with 1/4 of its qualities. While the ingredients boasts silicone (the main ingredient in most primers), the consistency is watery and does no conceal any pores.
I used this as a primer for a while, until I realized it's actually not doing anything noticeable for my makeup. I must've felt some placebo effect (my excitement in a new product) to think it was actually doing something.

I started breaking out within an HOUR of having this stuff on! Although the color match was practically PERFECT AND the smoothness & texture of my skin looked very nice, THAT is NOT worth it! It ALSO stung for the first 10-20 seconds on my skin, to the point I thought about washing it off right away...But then it went away...Then I noticed a bump or two forming within an hour and WASHED it off IMMEDIATELY...
PS... My skin is pretty clear- not all broken out...I have pretty sensitive skin but I take good care of it- wash morning & night...

As everyone else mentioned, this did make my face sting a bit. I don't have sensitive skin. There were little white balls you had to crush on your face to get color, floating around in some kind of white liquid (ew..) and it often streaked. Really bad. I used it because I wanted a foundation with sheer coverage to put under my powder, and it did provide that at least.

Bought this out of curiosity and tested it. This had very light coverage which for me was great. The shade was dead on for my skin tone which was good too. What broke it for me though is that it stung my face. It wasn't just a light sting, it actually felt like burning across my cheeks. I don't know if I just got a hold of a bad batch or if there was something in it, but I'd never had any makeup that stung my face before...

Looking for a cheap substitute to the Almay smart shade... Well, cheap is it. It smells like a strange baby powder, and though it does match my skin, if I touch my face in any way, it balls up and ROLLS OFF. It's very strange.. I was excited at first when I got it, because of how much it did match, but it started to appear cakey on the dry areas of my face, and when I touched them or rubbed them to try and even it out or blend it, I got sprinkles of foundation/skin cells in my sink. Not very appealing.

I bought this because I had tried the Almay smart shade foundation and it wasn't that bad. I didn't want to spend 15 dollars on something I would only use in emergency-strapped-for-time situations so I decided to pick this up. Like other reviewers. This BURNED my skin. I thought it may have been because I used a new moisturizer. Nope, this was the problem. It caused red marks on my face that showed through the foundation. It was also VERY orangey on my skin.
I'm not sure if I was blending it too much on my skin, but it started to turn into little flakes and roll off my skin which has never happened to me before with any makeup...very odd. Would never repurchase.
