I have to be honest, when i bought this i thought it would be perfect for my hair type (which is very thin fine and dry/damaged) since it was an lighter elixir vs a serum. Now i usually use macadamia healing oil or paul mitchell skinny serum without any problems but i was curious about the elixir. Well i have to say it did not do anything for my hair. It felt like a cheap, thin "shine spray" you would get at the drugstore and it has a very strong floral smell (and im not sensitive at all to smells). In the end, the heavier serums do way more for my fine, thin hair which is strange. After using this a few times i went back to my macadamia oil land my hair was so much more smooth and soft.

Okay so I'm in LOOOVE with this product. Just to start off with, I have very thick coarse straight yet slightly wavy hair and this serum makes my hair so silky all day literally all day. Plus it has a heat protectant in it so I can flat iron my hair with it in and its even shinier and silkier and softer. Never had anything like it or now compare to it in quality. The smell I can over come for the effect. Will keep purchasing little goes a long way.

This is my new love! I use it almost everyday along with a little of the creme. This is perfect for my fine/medium hair.

This is the best serum I've used to date. Normally I'm on the CG bandwagon of sulfate-free shampoo and cone-free conditioners and styling products, since serums usually weigh down my hair and leave it feeling gunky and gross. This serum, however, is so light in comparison to all of the others I've tried. It's a *tad* bit thicker than water, so it's easy to spread on my wavy thick hair. I would repurchase if I have enough $ to when I run out. This stuff is expensive!

Like I said in my reviews for the matching shampoo and conditioner, these are great products, but amongst the 3 of them, the Elyxir is the winner for me, and the only one I will rebuy.
The combo makes my hair very soft and shiny (although it still frizzes in humidity). But since I cannot use the shampoo on my scalp (it makes it itch), and the conditioner is nothing out of the ordinary, I only use this combo when I know I'll heat style (because it's supposed to have heat protective properties), and the Elyxir is the only one I use all the time.
The scent is same as the other 2 products, I love it, and it has a more liquidy consistency than normal serums. What sets it apart from any other serum I have ever used is its extremely silky texture, and how silky and soft it makes my hair feel. I use it in conjunction with my regular leave-in conditioner or styling creme, and I just love the result. I could not be without it again, it is by far the best serum I've ever used.

I have ultra frizzy hair in the summer time, nothing can tame it for very long, not even my Chi straight iron (temporarily it does and then it goes poof again). This so far is the best thing that's worked for my frizzy, kind of course hair. It's smooths it without weighing it down or feeling greasy. It's a definite re-purchase.

I love using this with the Super Smooth spoo/dish. It is not a serum, it has the consistency of water (maybe just a little thicker though). Does not leave the hair sticky/crunchy and does not weigh hair down. I apply to towel-dried hair right before blowdrying and I get smooth, silky results. I will definately repurchase.

I got this free in the mail from a promotional giveaway. It's quite nice. I've been using this instead of my usual leave-in. Doesn't weigh down my hair or seem to buildup. Nice stuff
