This has got to be my favorite shade of red. I hate when you buy a bottle of nail polish that seems to be the perfect red and it turning out to be either a orange-red or pink-red color. I cant stand it! If you want a true red, almost on the deep red side, this is for you. It goes on amazingly and looks great after two coats. With a top coat I haven't had any problems with chipping aside from normal wear. I will definitely buy again.

*droooooooooool*

i went out searching for a new red because my go-to red, OPI's Got the Blues for Red, has gotten gloopy and darker over the years that i've had it. I wanted something a tiny bit brighter than that.

I found Kennebunk-Port and Malgara Wine (spelling?). They look similar in the bottle but when held in proper lighting you can see the difference. I got KP because it was lighter.

It truly is the perfect red. Not too bright, not too dark (i hate when its so dark it looks brown in some lights). Application was dreamy, it was so watery yet stayed in place where I brushed it instead of leaking around. This is one of those magical nail polishes that smooth itself out into a flawless, even surface even if your application was a little streaky.

I'm so freaking glad I found this color.

This polish is one of my go-to reds because it's pure perfection for my skintone. It's neither cool nor warm-toned, so I think just about anyone could pull off this red. It's not too bright/light ... not too dark, just the perfect mid-red cream. It's not particularly unique ... but overall, I adore this red because it's timeless, classic, and applies and wears exceptionally well. One of my fav reds of all time!!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS. Perfect shade of red, very classic and classy. I've found red nail polish to be a bit garish and unflattering on my pale skin but this is classic blue-red- very Hollywood glam and perfect all year round as a fail safe all season and trend colour.

Must buy - the only nail colour you'll ever need.

I have been searching for literally YEARS for the perfect red color. I always find colors too bright red or too sparkly/pinkish. I got a mani/pedi at a salon with this color and knew immediately that I had found my perfect color! The only problem was it was very hard to track down. After a lot of searching I finally found one bottle at a Target, I later purchased the lone bottle on clearance at a Trade Secret store. The color is a bit thin, two coats look find but three look even better. It is not tomato or engine red maybe a shade or two darker. It lasted a really long time on my toes and about the standard week on my fingers, though I kept it on about 10 days and still looked decent minus a few nix. I think it's perfect for all seasons and am really looking forward to wearing it for the holidays.

I picked this up at a garage sale this summer, and judging by the labeling it seems to be from the original release/formula, ie. pre-2000. I was geared up for a possible crusty mess, but figured it was only $1, no biggie. Shocker: it's beyond amazing! The formula is thin-ish but still VERY easy to control, and I could have gotten away with two coats but went for three just because. It's a much darker, vampier yet similar-toned version of my other favorite red, The Thrill of Brazil. I'm in love!
**Edit** Be really, really careful with removal - this bad boy stains worse than any other polish I own. Cuticles, nail plates, finger pads, it doesn't discriminate. It would probably be best to just use one cotton ball per finger instead of trying to reuse them.

Hands down favorite nail polish ever. The perfect shade of red for my skin tone; Its a sexy, vampy, retro blue based-red. I usually wear this color during the fall, winter and early spring months, and sometimes on days when Im feeling the need to vamp it up. I cannot say enough good things about this polish!

My favorite red polish of all time! This is a must have for my hands during the holidays, and my year round favorite for my toes. I have been wearing this color for over 10+ years and I still love it. Hopefully, OPI will not discontinue my favorite shade...

This was my go-to red for years and years but I'm pretty sure that somewhere along the way they changed the formula.

It used to be much deeper! I feel like it's much brighter now than it used to be which is very disappointing.

I give it a 3 because it's still a lovely shade, just not what it was.

I think I like this better on my toes. On my finger nails it's a pretty bright red. Was looking for a deep red and found it with Malaga Wine. They look almost identical in the bottle, but the mw is just a darker richer "blood red". Really looks much better with my skin tone. Which is olive, although I'm blonde hair, blue eyed. So I'll keep the kp for my toes. Beautiful red tho.........

This is a fabulous deep red color. Perfect for the holidays but really can be worn year round. There is a lovely shine to the finish and the color is definitely buildable. As with most OPI colors I have no luck using their polishes on my fingernails (they chip quickly & frequently) but on my toes they are a dream. If you are looking for a true, deep red this is a must have!

*I would have posted pics but I have no clue how to*
This polish is currently one of my favourites, it's a dark red. In some lights darker blood red, in other lights straight up dark red. It has no shimmer and even without a topcoat I foudn it really glossy, whcih is a big plus because I'm pretty rushed with my at home manis and I occasionally skip a topcoat.
Like most OPI's it has excellent wear, for me at least 5 days which is saying something because for almost every polish I have ever worn has chipped beyond recognition in the first two days! It completely flatters my skintone, which is...never been good t describing skintone. Let's just say in China people always comment on the paleness of my skin, but its still not exactly porcelain. I'm thinking pale but warm.
Very striking polish, dark but not goth-y dark. Wearing it with Creative sticky basecoat and Creative topcoat, so far no chips and its been two days.
*EDIT* forgot to mention I bought it for 118 rmb in Beijing.

About me: I am NC20, NC25 in the summer. I have black hair and brown eyes, my undertones are very yellow.

Wear: This wears like all OPI's on me, 2 weeks with top and base coat. It's perfectly fine for me since I usually change mani's after a week and a half.

Color: This is a very pretty dark red. OPI says this has shimmer, but it doesn't on me. a nice classic creme with the strikingness (is that a word?) of a vampie that's more wearable.

Price: When I got this, it was 8.50$. It's very jacked up now, but still cheaper than Rescue Beauty Lounge/Chanel, but pricier than Sinful/Essie.

Packaging: Regular OPI packaging, tapered bottle/cap. Simple and classic.

Comments: I will not repurchase this, because I want to try Malaga wine which I hear is this but darker--I had wanted this to be darker. However, this is not the polishes' fault, and others who want a dark red creme will love this. I give this 4 lippies because I think it simply isn't that unique.

I am thrilled, amazed, and in love with this color. I started lemming it when I saw a picture of this on another girl and it was one of those colors that just strikes you with how perfectly flattering it is. Even though I'd never heard of it before I had to have it (apparently it was discontinued but brought back to OPIs classic collection) Sure enough, in person it was just as flattering to my own pale, warm skintone. It's sort of like Malaga Wine, a medium to dark red creme polish with a gorgeous glossy finish, but side by side Kennebunk Port is slightly more warm and less purpley than Malaga Wine.. This was such a pleasant surprise and I love this red from OPI!

Wonderful dark red that works great with my cool skin tone. This is the perfect shade for me when I want something that falls between candy apple and vampy; it's on the darker side but definitely still red.

God I adore this colour and this brand. Only complaint is that I have to repaint daily. But a good topcoat should fix that.

This is just great. I got a mani/pedi with this for Halloween--looked stunning on, got lots of compliments (someone even asked me for the nail polish name in class!) and lasted a long time. Gorgeous creamy red, really complemented my skin tone. The only complaint is that it is a b-tch and a half to remove!! Lots of effort required. I will always use this when going for red nails at the salon!

I love this shade. It's a blue-based blood red that looks fantastic on my toes. I think it would look good on tips for that vampy look. It reminds me of my beloved Malaga Wine, but deeper. As usual for OPI great wear on my toes. I know this colour will look great for a couple of weeks before needing to change.
