I rarely use eyeshadow, but when I do I use this! This eyeshadow looks really natural and it's very easy to wear. It's great for an everyday look, a lazy day look, or a neutral look, but you it does give you that nice glow around your eye.
It has a very nice shimmer that doesn't look like you glitter chucks on your eyelid. It's extremely easy to wear since applying and blending is as simple as 1..2..3!
The only gown side to this is it is very soft and natural that it doesn't have much pigment. Eyeshadow primer is must if you want this, but I have wore this without primer and it's okay.
Overall, very satisfied with this and will buy this again!:)

This is another good everyday eyeshadow trio from Cover Girl. I find their trios very easy to apply, good for both beginners and people who don't want to spend a lot of time blending, applying, and matching their eyeshadows. Because of the ease of use, it was my daily look for a long time until it was gone. The cons are well stated by other MUA users - the brushes are crap and usually disintigrate, and this palate isn't extremely pigmented, so use a primer. But this means it is pretty hard to mess up because it is pretty classic and understated. It's a good eye trio to use when you want to emphasize a strong lip or when you don't want to look overly made-up.

This is just ok. I was told that this contained a color that was a dupe for Satin Sheets from the Too Faced Naked palette. That was not accurate. I usually like these CG trios. However, this one is chalky and the colors are extremely lacking. The white color is a decent highlighter, but it is very cool toned.

There's nothing really wrong with this trio, I just wouldn't buy it again because I'm sure there are better options out there. I do like the lightest color, especially to highlight under the brow. The middle tone doesn't show up at all on my eyelid (and I have very fair skin, so it should). Just not very pigmented.

I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).
This palette did not do much for my blue eyes. The colors seems similar and just blended all together. Very soft, not too much pigmentation. Kind of a waste of money unless you want it to look like you're not wearing much.

Okay, so let me tell you first off, that this is a must have in any makeup lovers collection. I know it's not high end, but it does give a very nice neutral eye that you could wear everyday! The packaging isnt all that great, but don't let that fool you, the colors are gorg! The only thing I would recommend though is to use a good eye primer before applying the shadows, or else the color payoff won't be that awesome. Overall this is a great trio to have!!! What are you waiting for? Buy it!

When I bought this I was searching for a simple neutral shadow palette that would be a sort of go-to look. I've been trying to find something like this for quite a while now after discovering that I would much rather put less work into my makeup and have something that looks good while not having to stand in front of the mirror for half an hour every morning. This is perfect, especially during the work week when I simply don't have time for anything intricate. I also wanted something that I could pair with darker lip colors (berry, dark pinks, reds) or lighter if I felt like it. This is my new favorite.

the darkest color is a cool tone brown color and has silver shine to it. the mid color is very nude and matte. the white is also matte. you cannot make mistakes with this quad because its not well pigmented ! you dont wanna waste time on trying to build up the colors.

i really do love this trio! i have a few single shadows as well as trios & quads from CG and this is probably my fav of the trios & quads I own. It has gorgeous neutral colors that can make a great daytime look for all occasions!
PRICE/AVAILABILITY- this trio will cost you anywhere from $3-5 depending on where you purchase this and sales. Available at most drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Walmart & Target stores. CG tends to be readily available makeup line. Price & availability will depend on your area.
SHADE/FORMULA- This trio great for go to simple & neutral daytime to nite looks. I reach for this alot since all 3 shadow are pigmented and show up very well. I do suggest an eye primer & a cream base helps even more. on their own, id say they wear for about 5 hrs then will tend to fade on normal lids so def prep & prep and they will last hours! This trio is very soft and works well with brushes. havent noticed any fall out, creasing or fading. the trio is better than some of the other CG shadows ive tried. I dunno how people have found names to each individual shadow in the trios since on mine, their not individually named? but all 3 are soo pretty.
from left to right:
1st shade- This is the darkest of the trio & its not a real dark brown almost a milk choc taupe that is a more brown taupe gray. its almost just like the CG single "Tapestry Taupe. its great for natural outer corner or crease definition. i love this color even all over the lid for a daytime smoky eye. def a unique color. love it since i love all taupe shadows. this is a great multipurpose shadow that can go lighter or darker in dif lighting. gorgeous! my fav shadow of the trio. if you like this then you will like the single shadow. the single is a bit more pigmented & softer- just a tad nothing major
2nd shade- This is a baby pink shadow thats more sheer but great for the lid. i like using this on the lid or inner corner of the lid. it also can be sheer for your highlight. great light color.
3rd shade- a light ivory cream shadow, great for inner corner & can also be your brow bone highlight. great for a wash all over or on lid for old hollywood looks. can go on sheer or pat on for more intensity.
all 3 shadows are soft & pigmented. what you see in the pan is what you get except that taupe is more multi-faceted, unique color. all 3 do have a shimmer but more of a sheen. no glitter fall out what so ever. the shadows are pressed well and soft for applying and blending. they dont muddle together. this trio is great for beginners or anyone that wants a no fuss look. can use them together or individually. i really have come up with so many different looks with this trio. i do sometimes add a more matte darker brown for more definition but somedays i dont have much time & want to look like i did spend time on my makeup- this trio is reached for often.
PACKAGING- the packaging isnt the greatest but its not that terrible. its a hard plastic compact. its clear see thru on the front that has the CG logo in the corner and the back has a dark black shiny plastic with a sticker covering it with labeling info. the product name is placed on the sticker so dont rip it off. some have said individual names for each of the 3 shadows which im not sure how they know their names since i dont see it on the sticker. just the trio name. i wish the would have the name a little bigger but its alright. the shadows themselves are about the size of a quarter slightly bigger which means you get a decent amount of shadow. they are all the same size. a double ended sponge tip applicator is included that is more on the firm side for those who dont use or own brushes. ive used it but i think the sponge does sort of take away from the pigmentation somehow. a mystery to me.
overall this is a great trio that has been used alot surprisingly in my vast collection of shadows. i esp love the first shadow- the gorgeous taupe. even for that one shadow its worth it but the other two are great as well. if you are more into neutral toned down looks, pick this up. one of the best trios from CG that i know of. The price isnt that bad either and its def worth it! i get alot of use out of this trio! COVERGIRL IS STILL TESTING ON ANIMALS! UNTIL THEY QUIT TESTING ON POOR INNNOCENT ANIMALS WHICH IS BARBARIC AND HORRIFIC, I WILL NOT BE REPURCHASING SADLY SINCE I DO REALLY ENJOY IT! TOO BAD COVERGIRL!

I typically don't do Covergirl eyeshadows because in my experience they've always looked and felt as cheap as they are. This trio really didn't change my mind at all. I only got it because a girl on Youtube said the middle shade was a dupe for Satin Sheets by Too faced, I loved that color but didn't want to pay 35 dollars for a palette with just one small shade that I was excited about. I figured it wouldn't be an exact dupe considering the price difference, but I thought for 3 or 4 bucks it was worth a try and that it had to atleast be similar enough if she would mention it, plus I recently purchased the shade Mink by Covergirl and was pleasantly surprised by how good an eyeshadow it was so figuring their formulation might be different it seemed like a good idea to give the trios another try. Wrong! Even that small of an amount could have been better spent, perhaps she got a better quality of this trio than I did, but the only similarity is that they both have a light pinkish color to them which MANY better quality eyeshadows do, this..all of them were chalky, barely pigmented and just blah. Wet n Wild makes much better eyeshadows for less. If anyone knows of an actual dupe for Satin Sheets, low or high end please let me know.

This is such an amazing little trio, I love it more and more everyday. The colors are just perfect and natural, yet they still show up and look defined and pigmented. They don't muddle into each other at all, but rather blend together nicely. They go well together and compliment each other well. The colors are slightly frosted and shimmery without being overly so. Each color shows up great on my fair olive skin. I would recommend these shades to any skin tone. As long as you love a very natural look, you will love this trio. I like it even better than Shimmering Sands of the same brand, because the colors are more unique.

Love this eyeshadow trio! All of the colors go perfectly with each other! These shadows are very neutral and natural looking! I use the white on the inner corners and brow bone, the light beige on my lid, and the darker brown on my crease and outer corner. Great for everyday use and great for special occasions too! I wore this trio for my homecoming and my eyes looked so bright in the photos that were taken! I use eyeshadow primer with this trio to make it stand out more and stay on longer. I would suggest using an eyeshadow brush with these shadows instead of the spongy thing that comes with it. This is a great product and I am definitely going to buy it again!

i was so curious about this product after seeing all the reviews and hauls on youtube. i really wanted to try it but unfortunately its not available in NZ (and if it was available, it would be super expensive anyways..). so when my bf's parents went to the States for business i made a huge order from drugstore.com and had it mailed to their hotel so they could bring it back and man i was so excited!n first impression the colors are pretty but when i swatch it the shadows are so sheer and non-pigmented! my skin tone is not the fairest so that could be why..but i figured that i can use the darkest color on top of a base as it makes the color show up better and when i do that its the prettiest shade of taupe and works with my skin tone so well! i can use the lighter colors as highlights but i wish the colors were a bit more pigmented!

This is a great product for cool toned, fair skinned girls with green or blue eyes. I always get complimemts when I wear this. Cover Girl has really stepped up it's game in the last few years. I can remember when I used to avoid Cover Girl products like the plague, now I find all kinds of good Cover Girl product and the prices are great!

This product is convenient for daytime looks, but has very little pigment. I place it over my primer potion, and so it enhances it a bit. I bought it for $5 so I didn't really expect Smashbox all over my eyes. I use it everyday because I don't want it to go to waste. I do not find it to be horrible, so I make due. Wouldn't buy this again though. Will invest in a more expensive durable eyeshadow when I run out.

Love it. I'll buy it again and again and again! CG eyeshadows have improved SO much over the years, it's amazing. I've been reluctant to purchase anything by them for a while now after a number of regrets when I was a teenager, but since I loved Tapestry Taupe so much, I figured why not give something else a try. I picked this up a few weeks ago since I had a coupon for $2.50 off two CG products and they were also on sale for BOGO 1/2 off. Now I usually love doing something different with my eye makeup every day...but I've probably worn this trio 14 out of the 17 days I've had it. I just love it. The colors are gorgeous and just dark enough to create some depth without being too dramatic or overpowering for daytime and the quality just amazes me. They wear and blend so much like my Urban Decay shadows that I almost can't believe that I'm wearing a drugstore eyeshadow! I just absolutely love this and I'm a little sad I didn't grab this earlier. I'll be sure to pick a few more of these trios and probably more of the singles or quads as well. Way to go CoverGirl!

This isn't a very dark trio, but I love it for that reason. The brown colors are very versatile. I use the lighter two a lot for highlighting the brow bone with any look.

I love this, super natural and the colors could be dupes for higher end eye shadows (Mac, etc.) I wear it when I want to not look made up, really simple and easy. Plus they have great staying power.

Ah, the colors are not intense at all, but what do you expect when you buy brown shades? Most brown people are looking for "neutral" makeup so I am not sure why folks are disappointed when a brown color does not "pop." I wear this on the weekends when I want to look like myself but better. It provides a sheer wash of consistent color across my lid and its semi-frosted nature deflects attention away from uneven coloring of lids or veins or whatever else you can see on a naked lid. That said, I only use the dark color, which is not dark at all on your lid.
I do like that it does not crease, even though it is a shimmery color, and I find it stays on ok. I do like the colors but I rarely find use for the middle and right color--they are just too light for anything for my use.
