Nice smell but a watery spray can't be sprayed on to dry hair otherwise would have to wait for it to dry because it may damage some straighteners inc high end (I use the corioliss c2) and makes a scary steam type sound when I pass the straightner onto hair after applying this without letting it dry first. Not sure about the protecting properties, I have not noticed and protection WASTE OF MONEY.

my hair: long,fine but I have a lot,wavy,frizzy,after wash puddle-like :)

Very good product, not greasy (even if overdose, like I did once), do not weigh your hair at all, gentle, pleasant smell which doesn't linger on your hair if you mind the fragrance. Hair are veeeery soft and smooth. Convinient spray bottle.The best I have ever had, better than Chi 44 Iron Guard, Tresemme etc. It does the job. I use it also for blow drying. I recommend it :)

HG absolutely best heat protection spray i have ever used leaves no weighty or greasy feeling, smells absolutely gorgeous and seems to work which is also great, i tried tresemme before but am not a fan of that glad i tried this will use forever

This is my favourite heat protection - it's not HG material, but the best I've come across so far. The spray comes in a white bottle which has a purple label, it has a pump spray rather than an aerosol type spray which is also purple and the lid is made from clear plastic.

I personally use this when my hair is about 70% dry after washing, brush it through and wait till it's airdried completely before using my straightening iron. Sometimes I use it on dry hair aswell, but I prefer using it on damp hair. I notice better results doing it this way.


I chemically straighten my hair 2-3 times per year (being biracial, I have naturally curly hair boo!) and straighten it once a week with a hot iron. Thus, my hair is very prone to dryness, breakage and splitends.


I've used this heat protection for perhaps 2 years now, and I have had less breakages and it looks less fly away than it did before, it looks more shiny too. To touch it feels soft. It must be doing something because my hair used to fry whenever I used hot tools on it. What I love the most about this is that it doesn't contain alcohol - which most heat protectors do. This is the main reason I buy it over and over again, because it's the only one that doesn't dry my hair out with the alcohol.


It doesn't cause build-up or make my hair greasy. The smell isn't disgusting (but not amazing either) although I had a compliment the other day from a guy who I was sitting next to when I swished my head over my shoulder - he said my hair smelt "well nice", and when I smelt it, it was the smell of this heat protector, so some people must like it!


The bottle contains 150ml of spray and is about £4.49 in Boots. I'd definately repurchase.
