This is not a great trio from NYX. The colors look good... a taupe, copper, and peach. Unfortunately the pigment isn't there and these don't last. After 2 hours the colors had faded and needed to be reapplied. This is using over foundation and powder on eyelids.

I love this palette! I've given the single shadows a try in the past and I liked them, but I think I would have liked them more had I chosen my colors better, lol. This trio is GORGEOUS! There is a lovely taupe, a brown with a hint of red, and a beautiful light peach for the browbone. I tried this on without a primer tonight after purchase, and I love it and can only imagine it looking even better with a primer! This is a great natural palette, and I thought the red-brown might be a bit too strong for my PPP complexion, but it looks great.

This was the second trio I purchased from NYX and I have to say, it's definitely my favourite!

There's three gorgeous colours: A taupe type colour, reddish brown and a light peachy colour. I love all three! At first I didn't like the all-over taupe colour but now I think it makes a very nice everyday/neutral colour for my darker skin tone. Typically I'd use the taupe for all-over, red/brown for the crease and the peach for a highlight and inner corner... however, I find myself mixing and matching with these colours a lot. Sometimes I'll just use the peach all over with the brown in the crease, or just the brown in the crease with the taupe etc. they're very versatile!

The packaging is cute, with a little mirror and sponge-tip applicator (which is pretty useless to me unless I'm putting colour in my tear duct) however the plastic casing that let's you see inside did break on me for this trio - but it's fixable.

Overall, the colours are very pigmented - would look even better with a primer - the shades are universally attractive seaming (very,very dark skin tones may not like them as much) and they're long lasting/easy to blend. Definitely recommend and will definitely re-purchase! You get a good sized amount and I purchased for about $10 at my local drug store (in Canada).

This is my first trio from NYX and I am quite impressed. All three colors are beautiful, do not crease, blend well and are so soft on the skin. They have some shimmer, but it's not over the top. I am a 48 yrs. old and I didn't find the colors too shimmery for me.


The highlight color is a very subtle and pretty. Depending upon which light your in, it either looks very pale pink or silvery white. The taupe is gorgeous and could stand alone as an all over color wash with a black or grey eyeliner. Normally, I don't wear reddish browns, but this one works for me. The taupe works beautifully with the red brown. I wore all three colors to dinner last night and my DH said my eyes looked "so beautiful".


I ordered about 12 of the single shades and I like the trio's much better. I don't think I will buy the singles anymore, but I will buy more compacts...

I love love love this Trio! This is my favorit one! It's a natural palette. You can find a beautiful warm taupe color, a reddish brown, and a gorgeous peachy beige color which is very similar to NYX single eyeshadow in Ultimatum. Absolutely adorable!
Packaging is not matte as the old trios. Good price, great quality! I"ll buy it again!

Not sure if this is new or old, but it's new to me. It is a trio that contains a taupey colour (very similar to Iced Mocha from NYX), a brown red colour (resembles MAC's Glamour Check) and a nice creamy highlight colour. This is an awesome trio, it's buttery and smooth on application and makes a great every look.
