This Superstar trio of awesomeness is my go to eyeshadow because of its versatility and i can easily pull a daytime look to a night time look. I actually gave away most of my neutral eyeshadows and stuck with this palette because it gives that natural "my eyes but better look"...pair it with the Lorac Front of the Line eyeliner in black and Bang! lush lashes with stellar, bronzy-smoky eyes! It is a neutral blendable palette, the shadows apply smooth/sheer with good buildable color payoff, but i use UD primer to make it last>12hrs for work. The lighter color is reminiscent of Stila Kitten, pearly champagne with very fine mica gold shimmer and i use it as a highlight or just as a lid wash for a simple cat eye. The midtone color is similar to Urban Decay's Smog, a bronzy color with gold shimmer color. I pair these two for a daytime look to go to work. I add on the third color on my crease and outer V for a night look, a dark brown with copper shimmer, similar to Stila in Barefoot Contessa but sheerer. When i travel, this is all i need and the package is sturdy. The quality for the value/amount you get is great, it looks like i barely use it but i really have been using it religiously 5x a week for 6 months!

This was my first ever high end eyeshadow purchase.

When I had swatched this in store I was so amazed at how buttery this stuff was - smooth and incredibly pigmented. This trio has your light champagne, medium brown and a darker brown. It's your traditional safe everyday eyeshadows all in one square package.

It's a lot of product you're getting as well. I have my eye on some other trios in this line but I'm content with just this one so far :> A bit expensive but you're getting 3 amazing colors with super color payoff :>

This was my first entry into the world of LORAC. Oh these shadows are the highly pigmented, creamy dreamy consistency you wish all shadows had. It blends superbly. I love these colors and I usually stay away from sparkly but they have a lovely amount of shimmer that is just right. It lasts all day too. I am fast becoming a huge fan of LORAC, after the Soul Blush and this one I am hooked!

I've been needing some new browns/golden bronze colors. I was looking for some new eyeshadows in Sephora, & I came across this one. I've never tried anything from Lorac before, but I've heard good things so I decided on buying this. The $26 price tag almost drove me away, but if you really think about it, it's actually not a bad deal. You get 3 colors in a HUGE mound of eyeshadow, so this will definitely last me forever. I usually get Urban Decay shadows, but they're about $17 a piece (for 1 color only), so if you do the math...the Lorac is a better deal. I have brown eyes, & the colors in this trio make my eyes pop. I use the lightest color for highlighting, the 2nd lightest for all over my lids as the base, then the darkest brown for my creases. This creates a beautiful smokey eye. One thing I was worried about was glitter fallout....this is NOT glittery, more shimmery. Therefore, no fallout which is perfect. I will say, these colors are more sheer than the intensely pigmented Urban Decay eyeshadows. I highly doubt I will run out of this anytime soon, but when I do, I will definitely buy this again. If you can't afford this eyeshadow or you don't want to spend a lot, a cheap alternative that's an almost perfect dupe to this is from Maybelline's eyestudio line & it's called bronze blowout. The only thing I will say about the Maybelline eyeshadow, is that it has really bad glitter fall out. If you don't mind that, it looks almost identical to Lorac's. It's way cheaper too.

I bought this starry-eyed baked eye shadow trio 2735 because colors looked really nice, these are just my colors, my type, but unfortunately the lightest color from that trio doesnt work at all, I bought 2 new brushes to use that color ( just for that purpose) but it still cannot be put on my skin, the rest 2 colors are ok but the lightest color just doesnt exist, it exists only in the package, on the skin you cant see the same color( well you cant see nothing just a few sparklings). So - that product goes to trash.

Fantastic baked eyeshadow trio. The color payoff is super intense and very smooth. The colors are great and they all have a great sheen to them. I am not happy about the pricetag but buying this in the natural to dramatic kit and it comes out to only $7.80..compared to $26 on its own!! Definitely buy the kit if you want this eyeshadow, it's very well worth it!

This is a great eyeshadow trio - a tad expensive, but a good deal for the variety and amount of product you're getting. I like that you can customize the looks (darker or smokier for a night out or use the lighter shades for work). I'll definitely buy again, but this much product should last me quite a long time.

LOVE THIS EYESHADOW TRIO! I use it almost everyday. I combine the colors to make a super pretty yet not overbearing everyday look! It is awesome. The only complaint I have is that packaging, the lid became loose on mine but I just use a hair tie to keep it on. Great product

Picked this up form Sephora and I really like the color combo. Easy to have all 3 colors right next to each other for shading, or sometimes I'll just swipe through all 3 colors to create a nice, fun brown.

Warning: this is relatively sparkly so keep that in mind before you buy.

This is one of my favorite eyeshadows. Not too shimmery & great for day or night. All the colors complement each other & it just gives your eyes a nice wash of color. I like the nice thick case & it seems like alot of eyeshadow since I haven't seen a dip yet. I have almost all of the Starry Eyed Trios so that must mean I like it alot!

This Lorac product is SOOOOO up there on my "Must have with me on vacation" list! It is so convenient. All the colors that you need for a day smokey look...but the best part is it has the right shades to convert your look into a Classic Smokey! Love this, and so will you!

I had gotten this full sized as a part of a kit or palette I had purchased from lorac.com. I don't remember which, and I tossed it into my eye shadow drawer and it has sat there for a few months.
I pulled it out today and I am in love with this eye shadow quad! I used the lightest color on my browbone and as a highlighter under the brow. I used the mid color as an all over wash and the darker of the three for crease.
The ES applies like butter. Lorac shadows are of exquisite quality. The more I use them the more I am convinced that Lorac is to ES what Nars is to blush---seriously.
I wear colorstay foundation in early tan. These colors were a nude eye for me, with lots of shimmer (not glitter at all). Very beautiful day eye. I don't like Mac foundation but if I remember correctly I was typed as a NC37 (?) I'm fairly sure that is what it was and I am just saying that as a reference. I just ordered quite a few ES from Lorac, and I can't wait until they get here!

EDIT: I typed quad, I'm sorry this is three ES in one compact, not four.

By far my favorite set of browns. Nice shimmer without being obnoxious or gritty. No (or very minimal) fallout, and it is still on 12 or more hours after I apply. I have seen a crease-line at the end of the day on only a few occasions, and even then it wasn't really noticeable unless (like me) you were checking for it. I usually do apply to a bare lid, at least in cool/dry weather. I am lazy so I swirl around all 3 colors and kind of buff on for a warm, neutral day look. Love the colors individually as well. I agree Lorac shadow is "buttery" -- not greasy, but a rich cling rather than a powdery dust of color.

I really like this eyeshadow trio. The quality and pigmentation is great. Easy to blend but good staying power. The shades really work well together. This is a set of warm browns with bronze undertones, so if those colors don't work for you, then you probably won't like this. It works great on my medium brown eyes and warm-toned olive skintone. The lightest shade is a cross between Stila Oasis and UD Sin. It's a bit lighter, very sheer and super shimmery. Lovely shade. The middle shade is more of a true bronze. It is not orange-y on me, though another reviewer said it was on her, so it probably depends on your individual skintone. The darkest shade is a gorgeous warm espresso brown with some shimmer. Reminds me of UD Twice Baked. I love wearing the darkest and lightest colors together. I don't use the middle shade as much, though it is nice in the summer when I have a little bit more of a tan. This is a pretty good value, $25 for 3 shadows and the palette is nicely sized. I recommend.

I bought several eye shadows from Sephora recently and I was most excited about trying this one. At the store, I thought Superstar would provide a neutral eye with a slight pearlized look. I am sad to say that what I got was a bronzed nightmare! The medium shade is a very orange-y bronze (I detest orange in makeup and it especially clashes with my green eyes); the darkest shade is a tarnished bronze look (it made me look dirty). The lightest shade is shimmery which in this case I didn't like at all, because the shimmers almost reminded me of very, very tiny specks of glitter (definitely not what I wanted for a neutral eye look). I also didn't like how sheer the lightest color went on - it didn't blend well with the medium and dark tones which were a heavier powder.

I think the idea behind the Starry-Eyed sets is great, but the execution is flawed. Not only didn't I like the colors, but the packaging wasn't too great either. While the eye shadows look so pretty melded together in a dome, I would have preferred if they were each in separate pots so that the powder from one color didn't spill over and cover the other colors. Also, I wasn't impressed with the application of the powders. I prefer to apply my eye shadow with a brush but I found that it was difficult to get the right amount onto the brush - I either put too little or too much on. I think this may have something to do with how the powder is pressed - it seemed like it was packed together too hard and was therefore difficult to buff out.

Needless to say, this $24 eye shadow will be returned to the store. Hail to Sephora for the best return policy in the business!
