This is great. The eyebrows really stay in place and the color doesn't fade. I used darkest brown and it looked just right. Much more long lasting than the popular elf studio eyebrow kit... which I'm not crazy about.

The brush might seem thick but its just enough actually. Packaging sucks though. I lost the colored end of the wand because it dropped off somewhere after I capped it in.

Still, I prefer this to pencils and powder/wax kits and I'll buy again if I come across it!

I was a bit skeptical about this product l, but I love the idea! So I thought hey, why not give it a try. I've been plucking my eyebrows since I was 12, and it's not pretty so I was praying that this would maybe promote some new hair growth. I've been using it for about a month, and I honestly think it is helping a bit. I have noticed my brows coming back slowly but surely. Nothing drastic, but it got me excited. As for the tame part of the wand, I found it to be way light. I got it in medium and it has an orange tinge to it. I don't dislike it to the point where I wouldn't buy it again, but is recommend if you buy it, choose the shade darker than you normally would. But all in all, I really like this product.

Would I buy this product again? HELL NAW!! I was so excited to try this product but I was so upset with the brushes on both the clear and dark brown gel. When I opened the dark brown gel, the brush was soo clumpy !! Imagine having shit clump all over a mascara wand. THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE! And for the clear gel the brush was like a lipgloss brush, I expected a mascara-like-wand and it just didnt do it for me! Oh geeze this is horrible.

I got this product in deep and really like it. The product is a little lighter than my brow color, but that's good since I'm pretty fair and they don't need to be darkened. This product holds my brows in place, but doesn't have the gross stiff feeling that the Anastasia brow gels have. For $3 I am very happy and will probably repurchase.

I am totally delighted with this product! I bought it on a whim to get free shipping from ELF and was very pleasantly surprised. I have been looking for an eyebrow product similar to this, like the ones from Anastasia, but I haven't wanted to pay for it. This product was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I bought it in Dark, which looks natural with my dark brows and light brown hair -- note that the Dark is not truly a "dark" colour, but more of a milk chocolate, medium/darkish brown. Although my brows are dark brown, my hair is lighter, so this is a good match; if you have dark brown or black hair, I would go with Deep. The applicator tends to dispense a bit too much product, so I wipe it lightly on the side of the tube. When applied, it makes my eyebrows look neater, more defined, and nicely groomed, but not super dramatic or Brooke Shields-y. I have used the "treat" side a few times, and I think that it helped me grow in a little area that I overplucked, which was awesome! I will definitely repurchase!

I wanted to try this instead of blowing money on much more expensive brand.I had looked at. I bought it in Light and am really happy with the results. I have thin fairly dark brows and this product filled them in nicely

Use TREAT at night for:

1) growing in thin or patchy brows
2) growing back plucked brows, (worked on me after years of plucking!)
3) soft healthy brows with less fall out
4) Works as brow "hair gel" if you want to comb brows into pretty shape at night after applying ;).

The TAME side is good for:

1) A thickening coating of color on brow hairs that stays better than pencil or gel.
3) Filling in patchy areas on brows. Tame really sticks to skin.
4) Sets as a flexible "fixative" so you can comb or or brush up brows with decent hold.

Tips:

Tame can be messy til you get the hang of it. To get it on right:
- Wipe brush on inside of container.
- Brush along natural line of brow and let it DRY before shaping. OR use Tame brush to color and shape, then use a swab to wipe excess before it drys.

2) To fill in bare patches, dip eyeliner brush in Tame. I use ELF Studio Angled Eyeliner brush to draw in little hairs where I need them. Let Tame dry before touching or applying other makeup to avoid smudging.

2) If your brows are thin but too dark, use as light shade of Tame to thicken and subtly lighten.

I much prefer the eyebrow kit to this. First the eyebrow kit is much easier to use because you can apply it more accurately. My main problem to this is the tame side's wand... It's horrible the wand is really bad quality and makes me apply to much of this. This is the only ELF product I don't use. Other then that I love the treat side, I've never really cared about my eyebrows but I read somewhere that groomed eyebrows enhances your apperence so I started plucking and grooming. My eyebrows are thin and I don't have a huge amount of hair as I would like after using the treat side a couple of times a week I can see a result in the growth of my hairs my eyebrows are finally starting to get thicker!!!

I prefer the ELF brow kit instead of this. I bought the color medium, its kind of reddish =( When the "gel" dries it feels like dried glue on the brows. The treat side didnt do anything for my brows.
Wont buy again

I bought this product on a whim and I actually really like it. I was using the Anastasia brow gel before and I actually like this product better. I don't use the "treat" side very often so I can't really comment on that but I love the "tame" side. It's very natural looking yet makes my brows look more polished. I have pretty full brows to begin with so I don't like to fill them in. If I do, I tend to look a little more Brooke Shields than I would like. I use the tame side on it's own just to get my brows under control.

The packaging actually has a very luxe Nars-esque feel that I love. Plus it's only 3 dollars!

Like most people here I don't use the ''treat'' side regularly - I used it two or three times and didn't notice a difference but I wasn't really paying attention to be honest.
The ''tame'' side is wonderful though. I like having strong brows but using a pencil or wax to color them in is a lot of work plus I don't always like the result. With this it just takes 10 seconds and your brows are already fuller, more defined and the result is really natural. Even from up close you can't see that there's a layer of product sitting on your eyebrows. I have medium dark eyebrows so I bought the shades light and medium - I use both, depending on what kind of result I want. I also have the Anastasia brow gel and I don't notice a difference between these two. For those of you who also want to change the shape of your brows this isn't the right product though, because it only enhances the brow hair that you already have...you can still use it after using pencil/wax/eyeshadow for a more natural result.
The packaging is nice, the container is the same as the Under eye concealer and highlighter and Lip Stain tubes, plus the wand is really handy for reaching every little hair in your brows. Will definitely repurchase.
Edit: I noticed the wand often distributes way too much product and you are left with a funny looking brow and a smear of brown color on your brow bone.

Though I haven't used the Treat side (really, the last thing I need to do is to encourage my brows to grow MORE), the Tame side is really excellent. I am a natural redhead with strawberrry blonde brows, and the Medium color is a near-perfect match for my hair color, letting me tame and color my brows in one step. I love that just the right amount of product clings to the brush without need for wiping. The packaging has a luxe feel, too. $3, it's a bargain!

So far I've only used the tame side, because I keep meaning to try the treat side at night but keep forgetting. I LOVE this. I'm very fair, and my hair is (colored) red but I have very blonde brows. The ash is the perfect color for me. It's definitely a cool ash color, no red at all. My eyebrows are pretty sparse naturally, and this allows me to darken them up without them looking weird or unnatural. I find it very easy to apply, and it darkens and neatens up my brows perfectly. I do sometimes fill in with a little powder but I don't necessarily need to. Will definitely buy this again. And you can't beat the price at 3 bucks!

PACKAGING: Very sleek and has the NARS feel to it.
PRICE: Affordable! $3 at select Target stores or online at eyeslipsface
PRODUCT: I love the treat side of the product. It is a clear gel, and the applicator is a brush. It made my eyebrows darker when used consistently for about two weeks.
For the tame side, I have this in Dark and I have dark brown hair. I do not use this side bare on my eyebrow, but instead use it to set my eyebrow powder or pencil.

I will repurchase:)

ELF Studio Treat & Tame is a double sided tube that contains a vitamin infused gel that is formulated to "stimulate" hair follicles to re-grow & thicken your brows and the other side is a tinted brow mascara that is infused with fibers so it will grip to your brows and keep them in place. So you've got your treat and your tame. The Treat & Tame comes in four (4) different shades. Light, Medium, Dark and Ash. I purchased both Medium and Dark. I purchased both because I couldn't find any swatches of the shades to see what they really look like. I was pleased to see that neither shades were too "red". The dark brown is like a milk chocolate brown and the medium is simply a shade lighter. I was hoping this was going to be something like MAC's Brow Set.. and I am pleased to say that it is somewhat similar. MAC's Brow Set is much more thick and pigmented though. I always have to wipe off the applicator to make sure I don't apply too much. With the Treat & Tame, it's somewhere in between. It's not tinted for no reason ( like Revlon's Brow Fantasy has a tinted mascara on one side and a pencil on the other.. and the mascara adds absolutely no color to the brows. It may as well be clear). It's pigmented enough to tint my brows to match my brow powder. I have medium brown hair and dark brown brows - and when I use the tame side, it makes my brows look more natural and it helps my brows match my hair color better. This gives a better overall, natural look to my brows. I haven't actually used the Treat side, and I'm not sure if I will. I use this just about every day and can't get enough of it!!

For temporarily covering a little gray in my brows, this is great. Much better than a pencil or powder because of the precision and fact that it actually covers the gray. I don't use the treat side, but for the tame side, it's an unbeatable price over similar products.

I am surprised at the negative reviews on this product. Even though I am blond and young, I got the color ash, because no matter how hard I look, I can't find a brow product that isn't too red-toned and warm for my brows. The color is a little light, but it still looks natural on me. It is a perfectly fine brow product, especially for only three dollars! I wish I had a better use for the treat side, because my eyebrows are already thick enough for my taste. Maybe if I over pluck one day, I will try it out. The only reason I put "no" for buy again, is because I am always looking for a better product, and will always be picking up different brow products. All in all, this is an acceptable brow product!

I just got this in my recent elf order and I was surprised by the color I got. While my brows aren't super dark, I got the darkest shade since I saw reviews that it was quite light. It turned out to match my brows pretty well! The color is more of a medium brown. It's not remotely close to a dark color, so if you have anything past a medium-dark brown, this likely will look terrible.

I have an issue with the brush on the tame side. It's the same width all the way through, and not like a mascara wand that tapers at the end. So it's hard to comb through the end of my eyebrows since the gel can get on my skin. I'll be trimming those bristles to make it easier to use.

As for the treatment side, I've been using it to condition my eyebrows at night. While I don't believe it will help hair grow where there wasn't any before, I think it will condition your eyebrows so that they look better (kind of like hair conditioner).

Overall, it's a good product if you happen to match the available shades. ELF needs to make darker ones to accommodate all those with dark brows!!!

Well the Treat side seems to help my brows grown in more thick.
Tame side's wand is huge and the color a bit dark for Blonde.
I am in the process of lightening it up a tad and trimming the bristles to salvage my $3 bucks!
Not a total loss.
