I wish LORAC still made their cream eyeliners! This palette is awesome. The colors are beautiful and can create a smooth line on the eye or can be blended as an eyeshadow with metallic color and staying power. I've had the palette (#1) for over 3 years and only one color has dried up. I'm gonna miss this when it's gone. Somebody let me know if you wanna swap for palette #2.

Hey Sher, thank you for the Visine tip. I also had the same problem with this palette. The colors are awesome (I have palette #2), but they didn't have much staying power. Hopefully the Visine will help. I really love how easy these eyeliners are to apply. Usually I have a hard time putting eyeliner on my upper lash line, but these are fool proof. Colors are goreous. In the colder months they are not as silky, but I just get my blowdryer and blast the little palette for a few seconds, and they melt a little bit and the color is richer and smoother.

Ole ! Ole ! Ole! This is a stunning palette with so many colors to choose from. They last long and are so much easier than pencil liners that tug and smear.

I'm writing a song in ode to this product I like it so much!
"It's dreamy, it's creamy, it's easy easy easy
Its stays put forever, I'll part with it never...." You get the idea...
Ok, so my song writing skills are horrific, surely, but you get my point.... I want to sing to it, so it must make me very very happy, yes? yes....

This cream eyeliner set comes with colors of gold, copper, silver, gunmetal gray, brown, purple, navy, and black. I actually can hardly believe I'm giving this product a high rating now, as I have had a love-hate relationship with it. The colors dried out in a year or so after I bought it (I have a ton of makeup, so I take forever to use up stuff), and it was barely touched. I tried using the brush that it came with, but the colors were really dry and I could only get a really thick, smudgy line. I recently started putting a drop of Visine on the color I'm using, blotting any excess, and it totally revives the color and makes it easy to use! I use my trusty MAC 266 brush, and I get a great thin line that lasts all day! I am so happy that I decided to try the Visine on the product, because honestly, I was considering tossing the whole palette due to the dryness. This little trick works fairyly well, but it does bug me that I have to take these extra measures to use the product.

Ahh, this was made for liner klutzes like me! I use them with my stila push brush and even I can't mess it up! They stay like iron on my oily lids too! the shades are: Metallic platinum, deep metallic gunmetal, metallic amethyst, matte black, metallic gold, metallic bronze, matte brown, matte navy or purple (hard to tell as it is so dark). I find these work best wet as others have said. Great amount of product and great colors. All in all a great buy!

I love the diversity of colors in this palette, they're bold but have standard black and a neutral dark brown. The purple one is so pretty too (the lilac one). I'm still not exactly pro with Creme eyeliners yet, but this is a cute buy you'll get a lot of mileage out of this product. The only thing I knock is the price, being a little on the expensive side.

Oh my goodness! I purchased this on a whim - like so much of my makeup (I was even worse before I discovered MUA) - and I am SO GLAD I did!! Like one of the earlier reviewers, I am getting rid of my eye pencils once and for all! I love the fact that you can use this wet or dry. At first, I found it a little hard to use dry, but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy. In fact, in the past, I've used both liquid and pencil liners, and I find this so much easier and mistake-proof to apply than either one. Also find it to be much more versatile - can do a thick line for "smokey" eyes or a thinner, more subtle one. Love the brush that's included in the case. Love the amazing colors and the fact that you get so many in one purchase. In short, love everything about it!!!!

I was actually a virgin LORAC user when I stumbled on this--but boy was I glad I did. I actually use the liners on my whole lid--it gives a soft creamy shimmer. I especially like the metallicy blue and the coppery peach color. Plus-its great you get 8 colors-to play around with. Best of all--close to NO creasing (if I first set my concealer with powder) which is great b/c my bf alwaysss comments on the little lines my eyeshadow makes!

I have this in #1. I like the colors, although, the purple shade isn't very pigmented and better used as eyeshadow. I've found the trick to making these work for me is using a damp Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush...otherwise, they were too dry and uneven for me. The copper shade is great for brown/hazel eyes-wish I could get this shade separately.

I love this! I love eyeliners and carrying around too many pencils is a pain, so this palette is great cause you get a range of colors in one. I personally like the black compact and the brush made application easy. The liner lasts pretty well, not super but better than most. The colors can be mixed and matched for great looks. This is a must have in my opinion for eyeliner lovers!
*UPDATE*
I never reach for this. i dont know why i loved this so much. Its just okay. Maybe now that gel liners are out in so many cool new shades, this palette became obsolete.

I love my Le Stylo Waterproof eyeliners by Lancome but I wanted to try something different so I headed over to Sephora to test the BB gel liners, Stila smudge pots, etc. One of the girls noticed my dilemma and suggested I try LORAC's cream eyeliner palette #1 as a starter. She presented the following reasons as to why the L palette was a better purchase: 1) easy to travel with 2) eight colors 3) a truly usable mini double sided brush comes with the palette 4) doesn't dry out 5) can be used wet or dry
I am happy with this palette which, by the way, is my first LORAC purchase. The SA was correct on all points she mentioned. I'd like to add that I have never been good with applying liquid liner but this palette (thanks to good cream formulas and a good brush) makes it quite easy.
I've only been using these liners (wet) for a few days now and so far they hold up well through heat and humidity...very pleased with the product.

Once I got the hang of these eyeliners, I really liked them. I think I was expecting a consistency like BB gel eyeliners, but I found the LORAC creme eye liners dry and difficult to work with. BB glides on easily and deposits a lot of color. Not so with these, I thought. However, when I wet an eyeliner brush with visine, I get the same consistency. Wow! The colors are great, especially the copper shade. I would recommend these.

I have thrown out my pencils. These creme liners go on easily and last all day. I usually wear black or brown eyeliner, but I love having the other colours to play with. Much to my surprise, I love the purple shade.
Plus, I've found that by varying the amount of water I add I can change the consistency to get a heavily pigmented line, or a sheer wash of colour.

I love this palette. It's kind of expensive for the size, but the eyeliners last a really long time, all the colors are pretty, look nice and stay on. The brush it comes with works great. The cream liner much easier to use than liquid, you just have to wet the brush. In the year or so I've had it, the case has never broken and nothing has fallen out of it. I might have to buy collection #2 . . .

I just got collection 2. The tiny palette is so cute and convenient! I only ever use eyeliner at home, but I just wish I could cart it around in my purse:) As for the colors...I'm a PPP with auburn hair and green eyes. I was a *bit* worried that I was giving in to impulse, but these are surprisingly wearable - even the pale green which should be a no-no for me. I can't really do the blue, but other than that, they all look great. The metallics seemed to smudge a bit more than I'd like, but overall they stay put well. I don't love the brush (want something more stiff), but I haven't purchased a new one yet and it does the job. I wet the brush before applying because the color tends to be a little dry. Overall, an adorable little palette and a great price considering you get EIGHT shades. It's only about the size of a credit card, but it hardly takes any product for one application, so I can picture this lasting forever. BTW, I am pretty bad with pencil liners, but this seems to work amazingly well for me. Even though I don't love the brush, the application is easy and pretty much foolproof. I was afraid to blow $30 on a product only a MU Artist could love, but this is surprisingly wearable, beautiful, and above all, easy to use. *edited* I ended up never buying another brush. Despite my initial complaints, I learned to like it - I'm halfway blind without my glasses and I just couldn't find another brush that let me get close enough to the mirror:) I've been using this pretty much every day and I'm probably going to buy the other palette soon.

Excellent product! Stays on all day. Versatile. Allows you to smudge or keep a thin line. Colors range from standard black, brown, and navy, to bronze, and silver which can give an new and interesting twist to eyeliner! I used to use Smashbox cream eyeline but have switched to Lorac. You get a smaller, more practical amount, and a bunch of different colors all in one package. Easier to deal with.

This review is for the 1st color set that came out last year some time.
First off let me say that I am a total eyeliner whore, so an eyeliner palette is like a dream come true for me (oh, forgot to mention I'm a palette whore as well)! The price is great for 8 eyeliners, seriously. And they wear like IRON on my lids (and few things do)--no smudging, smearing, or fading. I apply mine with a damp brush (like cake eyeliner) and I am set. Heck, these last even when I line UNDER my eyes with them (and I have oily skin)! They rival my Bobbi Brown gels in terms of staying power, and are far less expensive as well. Not only would I repurchase this, but I am soon to purchase the new color set as well.

I love cream eyeliners, so this is a great palette for me. I recently went to a wedding out of state, and just packed this tiny palette for my eye makeup. I used the black and purple as liners, and the bronze as a shadow. I don't think I could use the navy, copper,or silver colors though. Update: I haven't used this much recently, because I will not wear any of the metallic colors- they are much too bright.

This is my HG eyeliner - i have the most eyeliner replellent lids, and nothing up until now has ever stayed on my lids.
i've not had to buy eyeliner in about a year. The palette may look small, but even after daily use, i've only hit pan on one sliver of one corner of the black.
i love the consistency, wet - it goes on smoothly, without having to tug. with an angled brush from a craft store, i've been able to get thick, dramatic lines as well as clean thin lines; dry - i like using the flat brush that comes with it and using the push technique in my lashes to get a subtle definition.
this little palette contains many many uses and looks, and i find that it is a total staple in my collection.
i'd give it an overall 5, except that the lavendar is too light, and that the price just got raised.
