The set i found on clearence at Ulta isnt exactly the same. Mine has a blush brush, mini foundation brush, mini face brush, detailed eye/shading brush and was regularly $15. I got it half off and its an awesome deal. No shedding, soft bristles, sturdy. My only complaint is the mini face brush. I like the shape and bristles but find that its too small for blush and too big for eyeshadow.
The bag is gorgeous. Theres a compartment for the brushes on the side of a decent sized makeup bag. Can definetely fit essentials in it and toss it in purse. To make it even better, the bag is off white with varying shades of blue flowers as well as the inside lined with robins egg blue. I know that may not be important to some people, but i appreciate beautiful things.
Best 7 bucks ive spent.

I was looking for some portable, inexpensive brushes, and these definitely do the trick! My favorites are the grooming brush and the largest brush - I was disappointed that there was no angled eyeliner brush, so I would have to bring my own. The packaging is super cute, and it's handy that your brushes can attach to your case.
I wouldn't buy this again, because hopefully I won't have to - I don't use them very often, because I use them only for travel. Overall, I would buy if you're looking for cheap and portable, but not for super high quality.

I was looking for a great stippling brush and I found it at a fourth of the price many others were asking for! It's soft and gives an excellent, flawless finish. The eye brush is also great, along with the groomer brush. The kit I bought only came with the brow, stippling, and eye brush all inside a brush cup. And at $11? It's a deal!

This review is solely for the duo-fiber stippling brush.
I tried applying a liquid foundation with this brush today. It gave me a flawless, yet light finish. I loooved it! :)

I was super excited to get this. I had been lemming over a few different brush sets and ultimately chose to buy this one because I had purchased the Ecotools Bronzer Brush which I ADORE and hoped I would adore these too. They're made very well, however I found the powder brush and blush brush in this set to be much too small. The bristles were NOT compact enough for my taste. It affects the application. I would suggest investing in the full- sized individually sold brushes. You will find that those blend much better. These may be okay for touch ups when traveling or throughout the day, but I can't use these for my full-blown morning makeup ritual. The bag they come in is a very good size. It will fit a lot of makeup but the color is liable to get dirty. I hate dirty looking makeup bags! Ick! So I don't carry it in my purse, but I use it for extras of things at home. I'm not at all unhappy with this set/bag, I'm simply not head over heels in love.

quality , fair price, beautiful makeup application, environmentally friendly, nice packaging, doesn't shed, soft as feathers, what more can I ask for? I used to use fine sephora brands from France brushes but these work just as well without harming animals. Great for wet or powder makeup. Application is effortless and smooth as silk.

I love EcoTools brushes because they are good quality, super soft, don't shed and are so convenient and affordable. Not to mention eco friendly. My favorite from this set is the stippling or duo fiber brush. I use it for bronzer/blush/highlight daily. I am fair skinned so I want sheer application and it is perfect.

I bought this in the "after-the-holidays" clearance section of Target gift sets for $5. price was amazing and I LOVE these brushes. Would it be great if there were more brushes? Of course! But for what is included, I like them more than the higher end brushed I have bought previously.

This is a very cheap way for a beginner to get a few useful brushes which a very good quality for the price. I wash mine with soap and water every time I use them & they have retained their shape and are yet to shed a single hair. The stippling brush is lovely for applying powder & smoothing out foundation and the blush brush is easy to manage.
I personally don't find the eyeshadow brush very useful - it's too large & picks up too much colour. On the occasions that I've used it, I tend to end up with a mess. This could just be user error though so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Best of all they come in a pretty little case to keep everything neat and together.

I paid $5 on eBay and I'm super impressed with this 5 piece brush set. The brushes are all practical, super soft, and work well for their intended use. I'm also impressed with the quality of this set as they don't shed, wash easily, and maintain their shape. If you can find this set I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

The only brush I have from this set is the blush brush, and it's my favorite brush ever! I have a few different blush brushes including a very expensive Dior brush, yet I still reach for this one every time. It's the perfect size, the right amount of softness and stiffness, and applies color perfectly. It was the best $3 I have ever spent on a makeup brush!

This is a really great kit. The reason why this does not get 5 lippies is because I would have prefered an eye blending or pencil brush than the included brow brush. That's just my preference. The stippling brush is really good quality, does not shed and relatively easy to clean. It applies liquid foundation nicely.
The blush brush is really nice too. The length of these brushes are perfect too, not too short that makeup application comfortable but not too long which makes them easy to travel with. As with all Eco Tools brushes, they are really soft too.
I got this on a buy 2 Eco Tools Items and get 40% off your order at Beauty.com last July. Steal huh!!! :)

I absolutely love this brush set. They are all so soft and this set has all the brushes you could ever need! I really love the "skunk" brush for applying liquid foundation -- it gives such a natural look.

Brushes have always been a bit of an issue for me. I don't like purchasing animal products when I can avoid it and I hate the idea of spending $50 on a brush, but the cheaper, synthetic ones are often so shoddy that you're best off using whatever sponge applicator came with your product. And then I found Ecotools. These brushes are amazing--they're incredible soft, durable, cruelty-free, and DIRT CHEAP. The fact that the blush brush that I bought in a $12 set is comparable to my expensive MAC version is still shocking to me, over a year after I discovered this brand. I'm prone to both acne and eye infections, so I tend to wash my brushes quite often, but these have stood up to that easily. The only brush that broke was the eyebrow brush/comb, which I don't even use (the teeth of the comb portion broke off, in case that's your thing). Long story short, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this.

Incredibly soft blushes! not scratchy itchy or rough. Just as good as expensive brushes you find at MAC and Sephora. Makeup goes on so smooth. I use the stipling brush for foundation and cream blush and the brush for my mineral makeup.

I love every one of the Ecotools brushes, and I use them all! I'm a goner for non-cruelty, recycled products, but even I realize how often quality suffers for eco-friendliness. Not in this case! The non-cruelty fur hairs are soft and supple, and they won't fall out even after repeated cleaning.
These are great for people just learning to use brushes, since each brush has a recommended use, and for the most part, they are accurate recommendations. The brushes are a good size for almost anyone, and depending on what I'm doing, I use every single one (although not necessarily for the recommended use).
I own the six piece set, the five piece set, and the eye make-up set, and I love the way each case fits into the larger one. Very convenient, especially since I have to take them around to school plays and often use these on multiple people.
The brushes and the packaging are very attractive and natural looking. I make my makeup as natural as possible, so I love that my brushes match my face!
Bottom line:
These are relatively cheap brushes that are match up to the quality of the most expensive brands! They won't fall apart, they're soft, and they're extremely versatile. Great for beginners. Add in the recycled packaging, non cruelty fur, and bamboo handles, and you've got one of the best nature friendly products available!

I got these for Christmas and was so happy when I began using them. Every brush in this kit pleases me soo much.. My favorite would have to be the stipply brush.. It's so so soft and I use it for so many purposes. Blending countours(sp?) applying bronzer to give my skin a subtle glow, and applying foundation. I also cleanup fallout around my eyes with it! Amazing brush. The blush brush is soft and works well! Applys color nicely. The eyelash separater and groomer is nice and sturdy. And the angled eyeshadow brush puts eyeshadow on beautifully. They are also Eco friendly which is nice to know. You can get them at Walmart and k mart and most drug stores. I also washed them with bareminerals brush conditioning wash and they didn't smell bad at all, they actually smelled slightly like babypowder. They haven't had any stray hairs, and no fallen hairs that I know of! I got these forever ago and im getting alot of use out of them. Great product
