Omg this is a steal! I bought this 2 months ago, at shoppers drug mart in canada. It was 2.50$, and was totally a good deal, I use it everyday no matter how much makeup I want to wear. It fills so nicely and natural looking, you can contour with the lighter colour, and make your perfect shade with the darker and lighter color. The only problem is the packaging is cheap since u need to keep it in the plastic holders, but it travels nicely small without breaking. But really not a big deal since its so cheap.

It's hard to add anything else to the excellent review below me, except that the kit does not seem to be LE (meaning I still see it around and 6 mos later got it myself), and I have the opposite feeling about the brow powder duo. That, along with the brow brush, is why I got the kit; the rest was just bonus. I have auburn brown hair and needed more red than my dark brown/brunette SB Brow Tech, but not as red as their auburn shade (same with NYC's and NYX's kits, the others I looked into). This EoB set falls somewhere in between and is juuust right; exactly what I wanted. Agree on pretty much everything else: the sponge tip applicator for the brow kit is pointless, the brushes are great (I expected no less from EoB here though!), the stencils are okay, pencil is meh, and the e/s is really good! Overall this kit is a total steal at 6.99. I'd had my eye on it for months but couldn't justify until I started having eyebrow issues due to an overzealous plucking job one night and changing haircolor, and after I used my Spring CVS bucks, got it for free :) Either way you slice it, can't beat it. I actually get compliments on my brows- people ask if they naturally look that good to which I have to admit that no, they are cosmetically enhanced (but hey, if this is the result I'm getting I may not go back to "natural".)

This is the best deal I have ever picked up from a drugstore!! I was browsing around CVS the other when I noticed this Essence of Beauty Brow/Lid Kit. I've been wanting another angled eyeliner brush for a while now, so I figured that I could buy this whole kit and get the brush that included inside along with 5 other items for only $6.99!! That's a huge steal. I love this kit to death.

TRIO EYE SHADOW: I was surprised to find that these eyeshadows are really pigmented. I expected it to be sheer or chalky like many other drugstore eyeshadows, but it's great! There is a pale cream shade for highlighting, a medium mink brown shade, and a darker chocolate brown shade. All three of them contain shimmer. I love using this eyeshadow trio for my daily neutral eyes, although you can definitely pack on more product for a more intense color payoff. These shadows come in a round black pot with a flip-top. The bottom also opens up to reveal a small double-sided sponge tip applicator.

BROW DUO PENCIL: I am not a big fan of this double-sided brow pencil. One side is black and the other is a dark brown. Both colors are way too dark to use on the brows! I tried using them as eyeliners, but they smeared at the end of the day because of its slightly waxy consistency. They're not as soft and waxy as the Wet 'n' Wild Kohl Brow-Eyeliner pencil, but they're not hard/dry like a traditional eyeliner pencil either. I would say that these are probably good for a quick fix (when you need to run out the door and you want a super easy to use eyeliner), or if you want to do an extremely dark and dramatic brow (perhaps for Halloween?).

BROW COLOR: This little black palette comes with two colors -- a medium brown and a light taupe. In my opinion, neither of them should be used on the brow. The brown has hints of red in it, making my brows appear very unnatural. The taupe was too light for me and it contains shimmer. I think Essence of Beauty should have thought this out more thoroughly before they created this brow palette. It's really too bad because both the pigmentation and the texture are soft -- perfect for natural-looking brows. If only they fixed the colors!! This palette also contains a double-sided sponge applicator, which totally confused me. Why would we put on brow powder with a sponge applicator?? Sometimes I use the darker brown color as eyeshadow on my crease or on the outer V to give my eyes some definition (just a light shading) without looking too harsh. When I have time, I like to layer these brow powders over my basic brown eyeshadows to make them show up slightly darker.

BROW BRUSH: This was the angled brush that prompted me to buy this kit in the first place. I know it's supposed to be for brows, but it's not stiff like other brow brushes that I've tried in the past. It's soft enough for me to use this with my cream eyeliner. I'm so glad I found this!

EYE SHADOW AND SMUDGE DEFINER: My HG eyeshadow brush!!! I cannot believe how I lived without this brush! I own very few bright eyeshadows because I could never figure out how to wear them properly without looking like a wannabe clown. I always stick with pale neutral shades so my messy eyeshadow application will not be too noticeable. It turns out that all along I've been using the wrong brush! One side of this wonderful brush has a fluffy slant-tip eyeshadow brush. It is extremely versatile. I can use it to apply a wash of color all over my lids, or to apply color on the outer half of my eyes to form a perfectly rounded shape that frames my eyes beautifully. The other side has a flat brush with a slightly pointed tip (I am not exactly sure how to describe the shape). I use this to apply dark contour shades to my crease or to define the outer V. I find that this is great for "cutting the crease" since it applies eyeshadow so precisely. I love this brush very much because it does everything! I would definitely purchase this kit again just to get this brush!!

BROW STENCILS: This is the last item in the kit. I don't use them because they don't match the shape/size of my brows. It comes with three different brow shapes (full, medium, and fine). These stencils are made out of a flexible plastic material so you can easily press them against your forehead to shape your brows. But you will still need to use your hand or a piece of tape to hold it up.

I hope this review helps! I pray that this kit is not limited edition or anything, because it is one of the best drugstore gems out there.
