Bought this recently after trying a sample size of the product. It's excellent! Not greasy at all so perfect for oily/comb skin like mine, but it still moisturised my skin nicely - great for daytime. Just a couple of weeks use and people are commenting on my skin - it's fresher, clearer (I'm prone to breakouts) and best of all for me - my large pores are significantly reduced. My skin looks and feels smoother. It's not moisturising enough for overnight - I use Kiehls Midnight Recovery serum at night, but for daywear it is amazing - so much so that I have stopped using foundation in the day..! It's a little pricey but you only need to use a very small amount so it lasts ages. Totally worth the money in my opinion. Great product but I don't think it would suit everyone, so my recommendation is to get a sample from your local stockist and see - there's enough in a sample to know if it will work for you.

I like thus serum. I had very oily skin but just recently started a course of roacutane(Accutane in America a very toxic acne drug prescribed only by dermatologists, it basically dries out your skin) I used this both prior and during treatment and like it. it sinks in immediately and is smooth to touch on skin and non shiny. I find it good under makeup. I can't comment if it breaks out skin Tec as I already have bad skin but think it helps with healing from acne marks. it is expensive think nearly £50 but I have repurchased on Harrods sale for half price. my bottle also lasted me 6months using twice a day which I think cost per use is fairly good. I would recommend.

Price is better compared to the other poplular brand. To me, it's the same as EL ANR. Can't tell big difference.

bought in search for anti oxidant serum.
Compared to the EL night repair or Lancome genifique
that I have been using, it is a bit disappointing in terms of
showing any result. It is a bit too watery as well!

I came across this serum when I was in transit at Dubai airport, and I haven't tried serums yet, so I just bought it to try (also my first Kiehls product). This is not a moisturizer, so I used it as a prep before moisturizing (used La Roche Posay Toleriane). The first few days I did not notice any dramatic difference, but since it did not worsen my skin, I just kept going with it. 1 month into it, I noticed my redness had subsided and acne reduced. After almost 4 months, I finished the bottle (used 3 pumps each time, once a day after I removed my MU at end of day), and I find my complexion more even, skin more calm, and there is much less acne outbreak during my periods (which was a major issue in the past). So I am really glad I gave this serum a go. It is expensive but when I compare this to other popular serums (Estee Lauder Night Repair, La Mer or Lancome Genefique), it is actually cheaper. Plus it lasted me 4months, so I think it is quite reasonable. I would buy this serum again but my mom just gave me a big bottle of Ester Lauder's Night Repair Serum, so I will try that one out now before I get Kiehls again (unless ELNRS go amok on me, I will then dump that immediately and go back to Kiehls).

I am a lazy lady who doesn't like to apply too much products on my face/body. Facial wash was just sufficient but when I hit my 30's, I noticed that my skin became drier and have seen first signs of aging. I am not a fan of creams so I looked for anti-aging serums.
I got attracted to this product as it contains Acai berry which is very rich in anti-oxidant among other berries. Kiehl's is a reputable brand as well. So I wash my face and one pump of this serum was distributed on my face. I was impressed as it quickly absorbed on my face. It is very light weight as well. I don't like the smell but it doesn't last long so it was okay.
My first few times of use was okay but on my 3rd night of use, I noticed that I feel really itchy on my chin and sides of my face. I had rashes as well. I tried to still use it on the next night to give it a benefit of the doubt but it has gotten worse. Although the rashes and itch went away when I woke up (without me treating it), I think this reaction is not good and have stopped using it.

I wanted to like this product because I love the idea of it and I'm drawn to Kiehls products because of their active ingredients. Sadly, it didn't do very much for me at all. In fact I actually found it quite drying so I wouldn't buy it again,

(The actual name of the product is Acai Damage-Repairing Serum.) I have been using this for about a month, mostly to try and rehabilitate my skin from a combination of extreme dryness and several blemishes. This product has a very light gel-like texture and smells mossy, owing to its natural ingredients. I know it contains anti-oxidants but I'm not sure that it has any significant effect on my skin texture or appearance. I prefer a product that combines anti-oxidants with ingredients that also moisturize.

Returned due to the alcohol (1st or 2nd ingredient- read my review on the matching toner, it goes into more detail) Made my skin extra oily and shiny. Not impressed.

I was anxious to try this as I had been looking for a good antioxidant. (still looking actually) And I've liked the few other Kiehl's products I have tried. But after using only a couple days, I also had a reaction with itchy white bumps on my face (mostly chin area) and neck. I'd love to know exactly what's in this that my skin didn't like! This was the only new product in my regime. I immediately stopped using and they cleared up within a week. Not fun... If it works for you - great. But just be cautious.

I actually got this as a sample from Kiehl's when buying other products. Before using this product, I had never in my life gotten an allergic reaction to a skin product before, and I've used some of the most potent acne medications out there. When I first used it nothing happened, but after two uses my face and neck became really itchy and was covered in tiny little bumps. The bumps are not that noticeable but they're very itchy and the texture of my skin is all off. I didn't even realize it was this product that caused it until I came on here and read other reviews. I'd definitely be cautious before using this product-- I am not someone who is prone to developing skin rashes or having allergic reactions, but this product did not agree with me. Who knows how long it will take to fully go away... I'm hoping my skin will be back to normal soon though!

A very light serum for combination skin, blend well with Kiehl's ACAI moisturizer. I love the lavender smell, some customers may be allergic to it. I recommend this serum to my friend, who also has combination skin, she loves the serum, too. We both find our pores shink and face look shining, I do love my skin after I try Kiehl's products. But my friend finds the ACAI moisturizer too dry for her, while I'm okay.

Used this product for 2 nights and I found it to be pffftt...it's too watery and kinda drying, absorbs far too quickly. makes no difference to my skin whatsoever. well maybe coz it's only been 2 nights, but a product with that kinda price tag, you would expect to see at least a bit of improvement after applying like more clarified/radiant skin tone etc but none whatsoever. maybe im too quick to judge but i dont feel the oomph with the product hence will most definitely not repurchase. think i'd stick to my Japanese/Taiwanese brands of hyaluronic acid serums :)

Im an Esthetician and I really like this stuff. I like the fact that there are a lot of antioxidants in this serum espec. the acai berry (TONS of antioxidants) and unlike other brands its for the most part natural. The percent of active ingredients is much higher than other "more expensive" brands. Kiehls has always made that their standard, good quality ingredients, and results. I've been using this about a week and a half. The first night I used it I could see some results. I had some hyperpigmentation from some pimples I had the week before and I could tell a slight reducing in redness in the acne area and I think my skin was a bit brighter in the next morning. I've been using it since and I haven't had any reaction other than I'm happy with the results and will continue to use. I also am really loving their acne blemish control treatment.

I agree with the reviewer below, I also ended up with allergic reaction after 2 uses. My face is still red, itchy, swollen and feel like burning. It hurts even when I apply cortisone cream on it.
It will be a nice serum if it works for u. It absorbed very quickly into my skin and I could feel my skin tightened after each use. It is a bit drying though, so u may need another moisturizer to go on top of it.

In the world of serums, this is the first one that truly feels like I need another moisturizer on top. It has a pancake syrup-like color with a watery gel consistency and it evaporates and absorbs into the skin instantly. I recommend 2-3 pumps of product in the palm quickly spread and then pressed over the face and neck/decolletage. Even though this contains different plant oils (jojoba, sunflower, apricot kernel, lavender) I would definitely recommend combination to oily skintypes to try this because it has a mattifying and toning effect on the skin. The purpose of the product is to provide the skin with antioxidant protection, and improve upon tone, texture and elasticity. Fans of ZIA skincare would probably enjoy the ACAI line from Kiehl's. Most of the products like this serum employ lavender as one of the key ingredients, and the serum's scent comes from the lavender oil. This serum feels so lightweight it can be used day and night, but since it does have VitC from the Acai berry, make sure to use sunscreen in the daytime to protect from photosensitivity. I'd definitely recommend sampling this serum at the very least - I myself would not repurchase it because I have a sensitivity to lavender extract/oil over longterm use, and this makes my skin feel uncomfortably tight after applying it. I like my serums to have more slip to them.

I've used this product religiously for 6 months. The serum and moisturizer leave my skin balanced, glowing and firm. It works instantaneously to eliminate large pores.
Also, this product has no parabens.
Highly recommended.

love this product, You only need a tiny pump and spread it quickly all over the face. I use at night and it makes my skin so smooth and the pores almost invisible. have only been using about two weeks so will update but so far, very impressed

I just started using the Acai serum about a week and a half ago and it seems to work quite well with what i'm using now. I apply it on in the mornings and evenings before my panthenol protein moisturizer.
The only warning i have is, i guess you just need one pump, once you put it on your face, it dries really fast so you will want to cover a lot of surface area once you've pumped the serum out.
It smells a bit funky but i'm guessing because it has organic ingredients it should?
Overall i am quite satisfied with this serum and i can see an improvement in my skin tone.

$48 for 1.7oz (pump bottle)
I had such high expectations for this product that I ignored the fact that it has lavender oil in it...which I'm convinced I'm really allergic too. That aside, I can see this being a very comfortable serum/treatment for oilier skin since it left no residue. Drier skin will find it rather, well, drying.
It doesn't have any paraben or silicone which is a plus, and does have very good anti-oxidant properties and ingredients. Acai berry, orange fruit water, aloe vera juice, clary sage floral water, sunflower seed oil, and lavender, jojoba, and rosemary essential oils to be precise. This ended up being a bad thing for my poor skin. After a few days I ended up with one of the worse allergic reactions to a cosmetic product. My skin was raw, itchy and dry.
However, it may have been the sunscreen I used - but this seems more likely to be the culprit. I'll probably try this again on a small area just to be sure...and change my review accordingly. Until then, my opinion is that this promising serum will be a nice option for very oily skin that does not have an issue with botanical oils.
I still can't believe of all things, I'm allergic to sunscreen and lavender oil.
