This is glycerine-based and works well during the summer months to provide a little extra moisture for my hair. It adds softness and shine to my hair without being too greasy or leaving residue. It doesnt have the best smell imo, but it luckily fades fast. It is very liquidy so be careful when spraying it. I almost slipped in my bathroom. Other than that, it works well for the price and can be found almost at any beauty supply store or drugstore that I have been to.

I have been using this product for years; I always come back to it. It is a drugstore brand and is marketed towards ethnic/african hair types, but I am irish and have 3B curly/wavy hair similar to Sarah Jessica Parker's (in season 2 of SATC) and this works really well for me. I use it more like a leave in conditioner/moisturizer and I am always careful to use lightly or it will make my hair greasy. I generally spray a quarter size glob into my hand and rub hands together, then distribute through damp hair, concentrating on any dry or frizzy spot I wish to smooth out or refine when dry. It is almost too thick a product for a spray, and the new nozzle seems to force out the product in a gloppier fashion than the old bottles did. Dryer, thicker or coarser hair could spray this on more freely I think, but I'd recommend starting lightly until you know the right amount. It takes a while to absorb, but once it does it enhances and smoothes curl and makes curl maintenance much easier. After distributing CFC into damp hair (or even lightly on dry) I mist Pantene Classic Hair Spray for flexible hold and I am good to go. It's simple and basic but it works. I've repurchased countless times. It runs around $5 and lasts me about 6 months so it's a great deal. Highly recommend it to all curlies!
