I bought this in Disco Ball for $6 at Walmart and I loved it. (: I use it on my bottom lashes when I have a really colorful and fun look and it adds the perfect touch of glitter. I use my black mascara underneath and it looks just stunning. (:
I would definitely buy this in every single shade. (:

This stuff isn't really as bad as many are claiming. If you are looking for very dramatic glitter, then don't buy this. But, if you want something subtle that you could wear to work without looking ridiculous, then this is a pretty cool product. I bought "Showgirl", the gold color. The wand isn't that great, but apply regular mascara first, and then use the end of the wand to put some glitter at the tips of my lashes. I even add a little to my brows lol. I think it's an okay product. It's not amazing, but it's not bad, either.

I bought this on a whim since I have very thin fair eyelashes. Through the packaging it looks like black inky mascara plus some glitter but no - it's this clear fluid with random specks of black glitter in it. No brush either, you literally dip a stick without bristles into the tube and somehow smear it all over your eyelashes. Virtually no actual product is applied. Hard Candy, you have disappointed me.

As a gogo dancer, glitter is a must for my job. I purchased this product in "spellbound" believing it would give that extra glittery shimmer to add oomph to my eyes. This was an extremely disappointing product. I wore it over regular black mascara and had to put on TONS of product to get any glitter to show. This made it sticky and my lashes kept sticking together while it took forever to dry. It also doesn't last very long. I ended up with glitter in my eyes when the night had barely started. A coworker wanted the rest even though I warned her. She recently wore it to a rave and ended up having to wash off all her eye makeup because of irritation. I usually love Hard Candy but this product is just not good.

I had high hopes for this. The brush is useless and makes lashes clumpy. I just tried this over black mascara and it made me have like 5 big lashes. The glitter barely shows up at all :(

I have the black one.
I don't know why everyone hates it, really. I guess it doesn't give you any volume, but for me, it was sort of like the mascara that you put on for extremely natural lashes. I'm asian and have monolids, so my lids push down on my eyelashes. My eyelashes are actually quite long for an asian, so when I curl them really well, they go higher than my eye socket. However, it tends to lose the curl. For ANY mascara I've used, they have never held the curl but made it droop actually. This one actually held the curl all the day long and made it curl even more. People always compliment on how long my eyelashes are and wonder if I wear fake eyelashes.
The con about this is that the glitter is extremely tacky, for a lack of a better word. Everytime I used it, there'd always be this obvious clump where a few of my lashes would clump together. I can easily fix this problem by combing it out though. After, the glitter falls off when I comb it, so I always remember to place something like a tissue on my cheek to catch the glitter falling off.
Overall, I use this either alone to give my lashes a nice, curled look or layer it more to give it 'slightly' more volume (without trying to clump it).
For me, I like to pair this with the Ginormous Lash by Hard Candy as this one does WONDERS in volumizing. When I put a coat of the tinsel under, then build with the Ginormous, and put the Tinsel over again, it looks beautiful. I get comments all the time.
Both are also easy for me to remove.
I would definitely buy this again. I have them in the sample sized tubes, but I'm almost done one of them, so I'm looking forward to repurchasing, and I almost NEVER repurchase.
However, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that wants falsies-like lashes or anything dramatic. I actually prefer the Lash Tinsel because it looks like I have no mascara on(if I comb it thoroughly to get rid of some of the tacky glitter). I get compliments from the men all the time ;).

I got this in the purple and the blue glitter, and they both work fine for me. I apply my regular mascara then let it dry. Then I apply the Lash Tinsel (in either color) to the tips of my lashes, and i get little sparkles at the ends. Really pretty and subtle. Great if you want to add that touch of spice to your look.

I bought this for $7.99 (Canadian), so I really hoped it would work. It didn't work that well for me, I guess this only really works on people who have light coloured eye lashes. Mine are black.

I find this works a bit better when I use mascara, but it takes me a long time in order to get the glitter to start showing.

I wouldn't repurchase this.

$6 at WalMart as of 12/8/11

Purchased in Disco Ball, the silver glitter, for Christmas parties.

Really thrilled. Applicator is simply a stick with grooves, and you just touch the tips of your lashes against it and you get silver glitter all along the lashes. No clumping here. I put a black mascara on beforehand, let it dry, then applied Disco Ball at the tips of my top lashes & a little extra on the bottom lashes, looks like snowflakes!

I really wasn't crazy about it after I got it. I got little to know glitter and it clumped, super fail.

I got this in gold ina sample pack & just can't believe how awful it is. You have to put on a ton of product to get it to show, then it takes forever to dry so when you blink it ends up all under your eye... THEN when it dries it just looks yellow and clumpy and not glittery at all. I honestly looked like I was walking around with some horrible yellow puss eye infection! I never throw out make-up or skincare products because I can usually use it for something else or give it to a friend to try, but I hurled this into the trashcan with great force. I can't say enough bad things about this mascara.

This product was awful. It got NO glitter on my lashes, it made them all wet with whatever is in that dang bottle BUT glitter and clumped my lashes all up. Not a good product at all. -3 out of 10.

This looked so cute I just had to try it. Huge disappointment, it made my lashes so clumpy and I could not see any glitter at all. Even in the sunlight I see no glitter.

I decided to buy the product to see if it was the cute glittery look I always want. I actually liked it it added lts of glitter and didnt clump ..... but seems like everyone else hates it but I like it : 3. The thing about the glitter is you got to be in sun shine or in light to see it cause it adds alot of glitter : D

Ok so first I saw this product on Marie Claire magazine and like fell in love with it. An went to walmart and got voodoo. And it was prob like 6 to 7 bucks and came home and tried it right away. It was not worth my money I was so disappointed. Made my lashes so clumpy and sticky and hard. The glitters wont show up and so not worth it. If youre thinking about buying this product don't waste your money on it. Sure the packaging is good and so glittery and looks pretty and stuff but still so not worth it. Not getting this product ever again :(

I got this in Spellbound and you have you have to use a regular mascara first and then put the lash tinsel over it. You also have to kind of "swirl" the wand around in the bottle so that you get the product on. It does get clumpy and hard after a while so you can't expect to wear it for a long time and it also irritates my eyes A LOT.

This is a complete waste of money. The color choices they offer DO make you want to buy this product in every shade, but don't. It doesn't even work like a mascara should, let alone white 'tinseling' your eyelashes. I didn't notice *one* flash of glitter anywhere. I love the hard candy line from Walmart but this is one of the disappointments.

I got this with the kit "bad girl next door." i already thought lowly of Hard Candy's mascaras, after the flaky clumpy mess i experienced with curl up and dye... this was even worse... my lashes clumped like no tommorow, and when i tryed to get rid of the clumps with my fingers, (usually works well for other mascara) I ripped out two of my eyelashes!!! gross! i had no time to remove it, so i just left it on, and at one point i looked in a mirror, and saw it had flaked all over my face...

never again...i threw it out as soon as i got home...
worst mascara ever!

I got this mascara in "Spellbound". I would never use it by itself, but I like to put a few coats on after I use my regular mascara when I feel a bit of extra sparkle is necessary. Other than that it does absolutely nothing to improve the look of my lashes. It's a fun little novelty mascara but I won't be repurchasing.
