This reasonably priced eye cream beats the pants off of some of my more expensive creams from Shiseido and other top brands. I use this in the AM under my makeup and it hydrates wonderfully and keeps my eyes looking fresh. I have some dark circle issues and the reflective properties in this cream really helps. I look flawless in pictures and I don't even have to use concealer. I won't be using anything else for my daytime eye cream anytime soon.

From the reviews, I thought I was going to hate this and I didn't use this for a long time (even though I had it for months) because I was afraid of getting an allergic reaction.

In my desperate need of an eye cream, I decided to just use this up since I had it in my drawer. And to my surprise, I do like it. It is hydrating, yet very light weight. It does not have a tint, but it has a pearly/luminous finish that brightens the area. Unlike the GinZing moisturizer for the face, it brightens without color pigmentation. I do think it goes well with the face moisturizer as well.

This didn't irritate my eyes and I do think this helped with some minor lines in the inner eye area. I'm only 20 so getting lines under my eyes freaked me out. But I think this helped (along with the estee lauder advanced eye repair).

This is the worst eye cream I used so far. I thought I would like it due to it's illuminating effect. After using it 2 days, my eyes were really sore and red. It hurts when I touched my eyes and my lines were much more noticable. First I thought it was the hay fever but it was this little sob

This is a pearlized peach-tinted eye cream with a host of herbal extracts. This stung my eye area, leaving a shiny glow to highlight my fine lines. Did nothing for dark circles or undereye puffiness. I much prefer the combination of Dr. Lewinn eye treatment and Own eye cream.

This promisses less darkness under your eyes, but really its just a colour, and the colour in the cream fades away after a while. Way too expencive and not a good eye creame. :)

I got this eye cream over half a year ago from the hype and i must say i wasn't impressed. First, a little about myself. I'm 24 so wrinkles are not my issue yet so i wanted to keep to a simple eye cream to keep my eye area moisturized. I do have dark circles but I don't expect anything to cure that and I don't have bags but I wake up with puffy lids sometimes.
The product was just ok for me. I don't think the salmon colored cream did anything to "conceal" my dark circles even a little even though the sales woman told me it could work as a sheer coverage. The only thing it does for dark circles is brighten the area with micro shimmer. It's not glittery by any means but it brings light to the under eyes. This is not enough to cover my dark circles so i wear concealer over it, in which case it covers up the brightening effect and nullifies it. So basically it ends up doing nothing. But make up does wear fine over it.
The major bummer for me was the moisture. It's a very very light moisturizer. It absorbs in like 30 seconds which is good for make up but after that, it's done. I feel like regular face moisturizer gives me more moisture than this over priced eye cream.
However, I do find that the eye cream performs well in depuffing. Now, I don't have bags to depuff, but it works fine on my puffy eyelids in the morning. However, my puffiness is not an everyday thing so this eye cream normally gets forgotten and I find that I have to force myself to use it up since it is an extra step. So unless you have bags and puffiness, I really don't think this eye cream is necessary.

Wow I am surprised at all the bad reviews! I love this. I got a sample with my sephora order and had to order a full size which I have never done before. My dark circles are hereditary, and nothing covers them. I don't even try to cover them anymore lol, but this does help some. Basically this works like those highlighting pens for your undereyes but is also moisturizing. I like it in the morning for an instant pick me up. I would use only this and mascara if I had no time for makeup (which is most if the time)

I have yet to get over how expensive eye creams are. Ugh. However! the Origins sales ladies who help me are always nice and generous! I told her I was searching for an eye cream. I was curious to see how this one would improve my skin because the product seemed so promising.

She recommended the "Eye Doctor" cream (honestly it did nothing for me but keep it moisturized) for a day & night eye cream, so i purchased that one, but she also gave me a sample size of the Ginzing eye cream! It wasn't one of those 1-time use samples, it was in a mini jar, same packaging, and i really appreciated it.

I'm not mad that this product didn't do miracles for me cause I was fortunate to have a month's worth of sample product. It is a bit tinted and has a good amount of shimmer which gives the ILLUSION of brighter eye area. My issue with this is that it doesn't provide long-term skin benefits that would fade the darkness away.

What i recommend is going to an Origins counter vs. Sephora. Be friendly, make convo, ask for some samples, and add yourself to their customer list. They call you to come back for FREE facials.

I'm halfway through my second jar of this. I like it! It moisturizes my eye area effectively without burning or irritation. I apply this on my under eye, all over my eye lids, the surrounding eye area and my eye lashes. I have wicked genetic dark circles, and was not expecting this to do much to those (nothing really can). Although, I had surgery in September and my eye area was *extra* dark. When I applied this it lightend it back up to my normal level of darkness. So, I suppose this could work great for dark circles caused by fatigue or allergies. I'm 23, so I do not have any excessive eye wrinkles, bags or dryness. This is light and I wear it both morning and night.

This eye cream did not work for me - in fact, it made my dark circles look instantly worse, and didn't improve anything even though I gave it three months,
As other reviewers have mentioned, this leaves a slight shimmer under the eyes which for me only served to highlight my dark circles rather than brightening them!
However the texture is nice and you only need a tiny bit to hydrate the whole eye area.
I've switched back to Benefit's eye cream and am much happier!

This def does what it claims to do but... It is not a Permanente fix. It seems to just cover it up. I returned it.

This is not a moisturizer. I use it with Tarte's Maracuja Something or Other Concealer, which is very emollient, and the two go wonderfully together. I agree with posters who said that this is less shimmery than it looks. Under the Tarte concealer I can barely detect any shimmer at all.

Not bad, moisturizes my under eye area. I don't have problem with any noticeable "shimmer" that others have commented on. No other noticeable difference on my eyes either, so will finish using but won't repurchase

I have been using a couple samples I got of this stuff for about a year now, on and off. First of all, it seems like most people aren't understanding the intent of this product. Origins describes it at a "morning after" eye cream - intended to be used to make your dark circles and puffiness APPEAR to be reduced. The pink tone and slight shimmer of the product is a camouflage for dark circles, the caffeine in it temporarily reduces puffiness. It isn't meant to be an every day eye cream or to have long term benefits. Using it as its intended - once in a while, mornings only, after a late night, when I am not feeling well, whatever - I do feel that it does its job. Would I purchase? Probably not - I still have quite a bit of the samples left and its just not something I can't live without.

The eye cream is only so so. Like others have said, it doesn't seem very special. It has a lot of shimmer which brightens the eye area. I think there are better eye creams on the market.

I think this product would be better marketed as a 'brightening primer' than an eye cream. I don't have bags or puffiness to combat but it did produce a nice 'glow' in the under eye area so it is brightening. It was not enough moisture for me and because it has no SPF I had to layer other products on top which overpowered the glow entirely. It might be of some use on a no-makeup night out....

I don't like at all that it dries to a 'tacky' feel, because I can't imagine this is doing me any good over the long term but it would be good as a base for concealer or shadow. The product is pale and pink toned so it's not universally flattering. The Olay Regerist eye lifiting serum is better for yellow toned or darker skin and does exactly the same thing but provides more moisture, comes in an airless pump and includes some age-prevention ingredients for exactly the same price and same amount of product.

I haven't ever really used an eye cream before, but since becoming a new mom I decided I needed something to help with these atrocious dark circles. To be honest, I'm not sure how much this really helps the dark circles but it does feel awesome putting it on. I find it to be very refreshing and it does seem to brighten. I'm on the fence about if I would repurchase, but since I only use a tiny bit at a time, I'll have this jar for awhile. It's not my HG eye cream but it does feel nice to put on.

I don't understand the hype on this product. Sure, it is decently moisturizing and brightens but the only reason why it is brightening is because it is full of shimmer. I feel like for a $30 pricetag you could spend your money on a great overall moisturizer and mix in some loose shimmer pigment and get the same effect for a fraction of the cost.

I bought this eye cream mainly for dark circles as I had heard some people rave about it's brightening properties. I haven't tried many eye creams but this one is my least favourite and I will definitely not repurchase it. It doesn't do anything for my dark circles and that's the reason I purchased this. If anything it leaves my skin looking shiny, but not in a brightening way, but in more of an oily way and it's very flattering or natural. It has a strong fragrance but it didn't irritate my eyes. Another issue I have with this product is that it doesn't come in a pump bottle. I just hate dipping into a jar. I know that I should/can use a spatula but I'd rather not deal with that extra step. All in all I would not repurchase this product nor would I recommend it to anyone because it didn't do anything and because I don't like the unhygienic packaging.

Fortunately I got this as a GWP (large size). Don't like it at all. My eyes are sensitive to products in general and after trying this once, and reading the ingredient list, I will never use it again. One property it has is a very high degree of shine. Way too much for any eye cream, IMHO. However, I may end up using this as a body highlighter product on arms and decolletage etc. It is not going anywhere near my face though. This much mica in an eye cream is really ridiculous!
