Melted milk chocolate brown. Pretty much opaque with one coat, but two is perfect. Lovely, delicious looking color!

I really love this mouse-grayish colour. I have used more than half of the bottle in only six months, and I wear a lot of other nail polishes too. The formula is good, and I only need two layers to make it opaque. I have this with the new wider brush, and it's so easy to apply. I prefer to use this with a shiny top coat, but that's not necessary since it leaves a nice and shiny finish anyway.

I grabbed this color at a private sale because I remembered it having great reviews on MUA. It looks so good on my very pale skin. Amazing color. the formulation is not the best : 3 coats for me but I am a little OCD ;-) . I still can't understand how a muddy brown can look so sophisticated and trendy but it's working !

im becoming more & more of an essie fan as time goes by.
this colour is fantastic. it applies really well, even & dries fairly fast.
the finish is glossy but not overly so, a top coat finishes it off perfectly.
its a great autumn colour that can be worn well into winter. i probably would never wear this in summer but lets see.
highly recommended if you are looking for a good neutral brown/taupe for the colder months.

This is my absolute favorite polish. It's brown and I think it looks neat on my brown feet with my brown sandals in summer. Also, obviously because it is brown, it's super autumnal! In addition, the polish has awesome coverage. 1-2 coats are enough. Can't recommend enough for all skin tones!

There were a few grumbly comments on this product when you get into the 2nd and 3rd pages of the reviews but I can't understand why! I'd never been too into having coloured nails until lately. The last colour I bought was from Loreal and although it was a beautiful, ballerina pink (almost nude pink) colour, it was streaky and took forever to dry. I thought there was a technique to getting your nail polish to not be streaky...I was wrong!
Mink Muffs goes on without streaks and is so opaque you need only two coats! It is a beautiful and unique warm colour. I wanted something warm but classy and elegant and this definitely surprised me! It looks sophisticated, professional but still warm and cozy. It is definitely a milk chocolate, as everyone points out. I'm never going back to Loreal!

- This was my second Essie polish purchase. I was so pleased with my first I could not wait to buy a second. This color reminds me of a brown color that is between chocolate milk and milk chocolate. I absolutely love it. It is a brown shade that is a little off brown/taupe. The shade dries slightly darker than the color that is in the bottle.
- Essie, in general, is a fabulous polish. This color in particular glides on easily and is opaque in two coats. The formula is matte; if you like it glossy a top coat is a must. The formula well also level out completely with a top coat. In addition, it wears really well. It will not chip, or scratch, etc for a week if not more. My only complaint would be that the brush is a little tricky to use. It is quite small. But, with more experience, I am sure this will not be a problem.

Yet another Essie polish that I'm pleased with. A few of the reviews have stated that this shade is reminiscent of chocolate milk - definitely agreed... & yummy! (In fact, it gives me a serious chocolate milk craving!) A creamy, wearable neutral color in a slightly greyed taupe-leaning brown. It compliments my fair skin well, a bit better than the very similar, but cooler & more mushroomy Nirvana from Sinful Colors. Still, I could see tons of people being able to pull off this color. Opaque and glossy in two coats, dries a little darker than it looks in the bottle.

I love Essie. However, I don't love this color. The color looks grayish brown. With my tan skin, I'm not sure it looked good on me. It did look good when I saw it on someone else's nails. My boyfriend said it reminded him of dookie. It just doesn't look good on me, so I'd get another color. I did put some of this on my mom's toenails and she liked it. It's just not for me.
But the application was nice. It went on smoothly. I put two layers, then I applied Essie's Good to Go. No bubbles or streaks.

Loveee this colour. Essie is a great brand of nail polish. It stays on, dries faster than most brands and doesn't get scratched easily. I used this colour on my toes (since my sandals were brown as well) and I used it all summer long. I think it's a great shade and am willing to buy it again and more of Essie's products.

I love this color! I used to use Essie Hot Cocoa and have been unable to find it locally for some time. This color is pretty much the same. It's such a pretty brown and definitely compliments my fair skin without coming off as too dark.

I got Mink Muffs by Essie a while back and hadn't used it much until lately and it has emerged as one of my favourite nail colours. The colour of this is a medium brown with a warm undertone and with possibly, a slight purple tint to it. The colour is absolutely gorgeous! It's looks like it could look really nice on all skin tones. A great thing about this nail polish is the consistency. Its on the thinner side and dries pretty fast and doesn't chip easily. The one thing I dislike is if you paint over your nail, there won't be even colour distribution all over, there will be spots which look completely bare but those are easily fixed by layering coats. All in all, I really love this polish!

This is a really pretty polish. It's a mushroomy-taupe, comparable to Chanel's Particuliere, but with more pink/red undertones to it. It wears well, gives complete coverage in two coats and is (in my opinion, because as with one of the reviewers below, I like fall/winter type colors all year round, and don't really change up to spring/summer polishes- I like dark and moody all year round;) the perfect all-around color to wear all year round. Looks good, matches most everything, and is a beautiful all around neutral. A definite repurchase if they don't discontinue.

This is a great nude for dark skin and a nice brown for lighter complexions. On me this color flatters, but doesn't blend into my skin. Although it does flatter dark skin, it can blend in with some shades of deep complexions. The color stuck out nicely on my hands, yet blended in on my mom's hands, which are a few shades darker than mine. I like this color year round and will buy it again.

Mink Muffs is a very pretty color. It is a chocolate brown w/ some grey undertones in it. It is a perfect color for the fall or just in general. I'm not one to where spring colors in spring and fall colors in fall. I where my hot pinks in the winter, and deep burgundys in the summer. This nail polish is very opaque and easy to work with. Two coats is all you need. LOVE this and will definitely re-purchase : )

after i bought the winter minis (my first essie polishes ever) and was really disappointed about the color (how it showed up on my nails) and the application (was not able to get it even on my nails) i wanted to give essie another try.
and this time i just love it.
it looks like milk chocolate on my nails *jummy*
the application is easy and even, and the color is a perfect neutral for the office as well as for the free time.

I was really torn between buying this color and Hot Coco, but I eventually picked this one. It is a little bit more brown in some lights than I would like, but I love nude colors so I don't mind TOO much. I was looking for a color a little bit more grey/brown, which this typically isn't. However, it's not a bad color, just not what I had in mind. I would repurchase if I wanted another brown in the future.
Also, this was the first polish from Essie I've owned, and I wasn't disappointed or that impressed. I wouldn't be opposed to buying this brand again if I saw a shade I wanted.

This is my go to winter polish! I dare say HG for me. I just love the color. On me it shows up more brown than mauvish.
Pros: nice consistency, got good opaque coverage with 2 coats, and lasts at least 5 days without chipping..WINNER!
Cons: a little on the pricey side but not unreasonable
I will buy this again
