This is extremely effective for clearing pores and keeping them clear. I have large pores that are easily clogged, but not break out prone. Its frustrating trying to keep the blackheads away without going to extreme measures which usually leads to a bout of picking at my face with the after effects lasting for days. This has stopped all that. I only use it once or twice a week at night, and then only on my T zone. It keeps my pores clean and clear, and makes my skin smooth without drying it out. The scent isn't strong, kinda citrusy/pine needle-ish in a medicinal way, but its not offensive and fades in a few minutes. Its a medium thick, white cream that is kinda hard to get out of the squeeze bottle, but I'm glad its not in a jar. Its super reasonable at $12 for 4 oz since I only use a pea size a couple times a week. Best price is usually at Vitacost.com.

I have very finicky, sensitive, breakout-prone skin and this moisturizer keeps my skin calm and hydrated without being greasy. And I like that it contains gentle anti-aging ingredients.
I have to agree with the input of the previous reviewer. I had been using too many acids and retinol products + stripping cleansers and my face was paying the price. My sensitive skin just couldn't handle it all. This moisturizer seems to be just right for me.

I love this because it doesn't make my sensitive skin peel like crazy.
It has taken me 15 years of using Retin-A, 2% BHA and 10%-30% glycolic acid (not all at the same time) to accept that these products are just *way* too intense for my sensitive skin, no matter how well they work on other people. I really didn't accept this until last month when I tried BWC's 8% Alpha Hydroxy Complex moisturizer and couldn't believe how much better my skin looked (and how much better my makeup looked on top of my skin without any flakes).
If you have sensitive skin and want to use AHA, you may want to give this product a try. However, if you have less sensitive skin, you may prefer a product with a higher % of acid.
The only things I dislike about this BWC product is that it is hard to squeeze the product out of the bottle, now that I am halfway through it, and I don't care for the fragrance, although I prefer this fragrance to a synthetic fragrance.
