Could there be a prettier color?

This blush is so beautiful. The color is great and goes with anything.

I am fair to average in skin color. I think this would look great on everybody though. Even with darker skin it would be lovely. Just the right pigment.

Go to!

This is seriously one of my favorite blushes! I'm so sad it's now discontinued. It's such a beautiful color its really pigmented so when applying have a light hand!

Beautiful color for darker skintones

Wow! I usually wait ages before posting reviews, but I got these yesterday in the mail (Mai-Tai and Sunset Beach) and was immediately blown away by the quality of these blushes. I'm soo bummed that I slept on these....they're discontinued and are very difficult to find in the drugstores. I ordered 3 of each on ebay for about $3 a piece. I really like the Baked Blushes and am so far very impressed with the Minerals Blush.

I use my Real Techniques stippling blush to apply and these blend in beautifully with my skintone (NW45/Caramel). I don't need alot of product to get a very natural look. So far they are lasting quite nicely. I've been wearing Mai-Tai for about 5 hours and it still shows with no need for a touch-up.

You can build this blush up to whatever intensity you desire. It doesn't look cakey or fake. I'm so glad I decided to give this a try....I'm probably going to pick up a couple more as backup!

This is such a beautiful dark terracotta shade. I love it for days where I want just a hint of color on my cheeks. It really compliments my tan and it's one of those blushes that can go with anything. I definitely recommend it. It's discontinued, but you can buy it from cherryculture.com

I picked this blush up at CVS during the 75% off sale and I'm so glad I did! I've never tried a peach/orange color before so this was my first & I am in looove! A very pigmented blush, Sunset Beach gives me that subtle flush of color that when applied lightly looks very natural or with a few extra strokes can be kinda bold. I can see this being my go-to shade for everyday wear. I am definitely going to buy another as a back up, especially since it was less than $2!

I picked this up from CVS for 75 % off. Cant beat paying $1.99 for a blush! Sunset Beach is a beautiful terrecotta color. Great color payoff and actually shows up on my NW45 skintone. I already have 3 backups!

I brought this last night at CVS because of the 75% sale. I'm wearing it today and so far I love it! It compliments my skin tone very well and its very pigmented. It's a very nice matte orange/coral shade. I wouldn't use the "brush" it comes with that's just a waste IMO. But as far as the blush I want to buy a back up since I got it so cheap! :)

I don't like this product through no fault of Milani, the color is just not right for me. I was hoping it would pull a little more bronzey and burgundy but instead was just orange which does not work for me. The product itself is great however, the color just is no match.

I purchased this because I read on here that it was a comparable dupe for Black Radiance Soft Honey. It is the same family except that Soft Honey is a touch darker. But when you apply it, you can hardly tell the difference. The texture is a bit harder than Soft Honey but nothing drastic. It shows up on my NW45/NW47/NW50 skin tone. I will repurchase again.

Update 08/09/2011:
Man this blush has no staying power on me, especially in the summer. It wasn't really hot today so I didn't sweat much. I applied it on 8:30 am and by 10:00 am I had to reapply it. Mind you I have very oily skin so that is a major factor. I still like it but I would be repurchasing this fairly soon.

After contemplating a lot, picked this blush up(along with the more raved Mai Tai). Beautiful color and decently pigmented. I'm around NC42 and this color looks lovely on my skintone. I do have to work on the blush a bit to get the desired color. I bought it for around $4 with coupons - not sure if I'll buy it for any more money!!!! Definitely like this shade more than Mai Tai for my skintone! This is like my everyday natural flush tone.

It's like an orange blush, but it works good with my skin. [I'm very tan with yellow tones] It's gorgeous and I love applying it on the very top of my cheek bones.

it's a really pretty blush, is kind of an orangey-brown, can't really explain the color but it's like a mix of a blush and a bronzer. definitely would buy again.

bought it at cvs for $4.99, comes with brush (but not using it) and it is VERY pigmented! color payoff is fantastic for such a low cost ds blush! i veer towards peach colored blushes (southeast asian, yellow/tan) and this shows up on first application. i have to use a light hand for sure. this is more of a terracotta peachy bronze, definitely a "sunset...". will repurchase!

I love all my Milani blushes, and this one is no different. Gorgeous Terra cotta color. Looks great on my caramel skin color. Pretty for work or play. Hate the bulky packaging. I would much rather prefer a small, sleek packaging with no mirror or raggedy brush.

This is a strange blush! I got this in a swap, so no big loss on my part - but it is unlike any other color I've tried. Another reviewer below described it as a burnt peach - that is pretty perfect. It is a mid-tone burnt peachy-orange color (with no pink). I just put the slightest bit of this on the apples of my cheeks and I had to blend out with an oval sponge to get it to look right. The color is very concentrated and pigmented - I would say it rivals MAC.
I am NC20, for reference, and used a little NARS Laguna, and then put a little of this on my apples. I actually do have kind of an interesting healthy glow that is not at all pink, but having to blend so much would make me stray from this.

I really, really love this blush :) I wear it all the time and the color is perfect for my skintone.

PROS:
1. I bought it at CVS for $4.99!
2. The color pigmentation is amazing
3. It is completely matte and I like that because I hate shimmer on my face.
4. It's a peachy/coral color that looks amazing on my skintone (NC45 with yellow undertone)
5. Comes with a mirror inside

CONS:
1. The brush it comes with is pointless and not soft enough.
2. SOMETIMES if I use too much, it can make me look hot, like I just ran a mile...so I have to use a light hand.

(read below for an update =) ). I really wish I liked this blush more. The quality it good, pigmentation very good, but the color does not work. I guess I bought it figuring I had no other color like it, but it doesn't work on me. The burnt peach tones don't really flatter my skin tone. I have yellowish medium tan skin that needs something brighter- I either need to go pink, bright peach, or bronzey tan. This kinda makes me look sallow for some reason. I would totally try their other blushes, but in a different shade. Others seem to like it, I think it's just a matter of skin tone. I'm not going to completely give up on it yet, I think I want to try it with different eye looks and lip looks, that may make a difference.

**Ok, I have since tried this blush with other m.u and it seriously makes a difference, which I should have figured. I actually really like it a lot...it's great for days when I want to wear blush but don't want to look so pink or rosy..it's color without looking too done up, which is awesome. Wearing it a lot on my beach vacation!!

What a fabulous find!! In short, this blush has a lovely color, great texture, lasting finish -- and is CHEAP.

Pros:

--The color is beautiful, a medium terracotta with some coral to it. I'm an olive/tan NC42 with golden undertones and avoid peach makeup like the plague, but this really isn't peach. It's more of a bronzish-orange, which sounds gross but it really is lovely and works wonderfully on me. And I think it would suit a variety of skin tones.

--It's very pigmented. I just lightly touch my SS168 brush to the pan and smooth it on. I then buff it out with a powder brush, and the color looks like a sunkissed, natural-but-much-better flush. It looks best with brown/gold/red makeup (or warm tones in general), but I think it can also be made to work with violet or cool-toned makeup (at least on darker skin like mine).

--It's matte and it lasts. I have oily skin as it is, and I find many shimmery blushes end up looking silly and overdone. For nighttime I sometimes add some Smashbox or Paula's Choice highlighter to the cheekbone for some subtle glow, which sets off this blush nicely. And this stuff really lasts -- e.g., it stayed put throughout a long day and night in Vegas that included a side trip to Lake Mead and the Valley of Fire, despite being mostly outside in the heat and despite my oiliness, and with no touch-ups!

--It's CHEAP! I think I got it for 3.99 or 4.99 at CVS. Can't beat that. I have a mix of drugstore and high-end makeup, and this Milani Minerals Blush is one of those things that tops or is at least on par with many high-end blushes. (Can't attest to how it stacks up against the much-lauded NARS blushes, but it definitely holds its own and is fabulous for a fraction of the price of NARS.)

Cons:

--The deep pigmentation requires a light hand. It's easy to overdo it and wind up looking clownish, which is precisely what I did when I first used this. But after that first blunder, I got the hang of it quickly.

--The packaging is cheapish-looking plastic and will not impress your makeup-snob friends. However, I've traveled with it twice now and it held up just fine in my overstuffed makeup bag. It has a little compartment beneath the pan with a mini-brush that I haven't bothered to even try using.

On balance, this blush is indeed a fabulous find and I highly recommend it.

I like this blush because it is densely pigmented and shows up on my olive/tan skin tone. It has to be applied with a light hand because it is very pigmented. It's a great blush for a natural sun-kissed look. I simply love it because I've been in search for a peach colored affordable blush.
