Needed a new brush and was deciding between this and the round brush in this naturelle boar bristles line. Pros: good for smoothing hair back into a ponytail/updo, nice wood handle, makes my hair feel soft and shiny, Cons: gives my hair STATIC when brushing! I think i should have got the round brush.

I bought this because i was tired of having dry, split ends that break off with any pressure or pull, and after doing some research, i decided on a boar bristle brush. Well, all of the ones i found at reputable hair retailers were around $30, and i wasn't about to spend $30 on a hairbrush that i wasn't sure would work. This is a cheap brush, the bristles have stuck me numerous times, I'm not sure if it is comparable to other boar bristle brushes, but i will be making a trip to Sephora next month and will be buying a new brush.

Worst brush I have ever used. I heard good things about boar bristle brushes online so I was expecting good results. Instead, it seemed to make my hair more oily at the scalp and the rest was dry. Not to mention the static. It is hard to use for more than 1 minute because my head gets itchy with so much static. Do not buy, stick to regular brushes if you want nice hair.

I happened to see this product at my local walmart & took a chance and got it.
I've never really spent a lot of money on brushes .. until a few months ago my hairstylist used different and expensive brushes on my hair and I saw how using a few good brushes will cut down on how I have to flatiron or curl my hair later!
I tried this brush - Claims it adds shine and straightens. Well it adds shine! and it makes my hair feel sooooo good. I can't believe I haven't bought one of these sooner!

I like this brush the best of all my brushes. It is an all wooden brush with bristles. It is flat. It makes my hair feel very soft and shiny. I really like how my hair does not get caught in any metal or rubber pieces of the brush since it is all wooden. My only complaint is that the bristles are short and it can be difficult to get hair brushed without going to the opposite side of the section you are brushing. If you are a person who puts her hair into a ponytail frequently, this is an excellent tool to get a smooth pull-back.

i found this on my food 4 less store (grocery store) at the beauty isle were they sell the shampoo, hair color ,and hair clips. it was $5.99. it's a wooden brush with black and blond bristles. it claims that it will manage fly aways and distribute the natural oils of your scalp all the way to your ends to make more healthy and shiny hair. i love it it does exactly what it claims and overall my hair is sooo healthy and shiny now.

you should really check out this brush it's wonderful
