Sheer, slightly milky jelly base packed with multicolored medium-sized glitter that is mostly light blue, purple and green. Twinkly and gorgeous by itself (about three or four coats is necessary)--it gives a fairy-like look to your nails and almost does have an icy look...if ice were multi-colored. It makes a good top coat too, particularly for paler, cooler colors. I got mine for half-off at Sally's so I can't complain about the price, and the quality is up to China Glaze's usual level. I'd repurchase.

Glacier is a glitter nail polish with iridescent mini glitter suspended in clear polish. The base is not a white or pearl as you would think looking at the bottle. The cloudy white base is the clear polish chock-ful of tiny flakies. Once you put this on the nail, the flakies show up. This is very pretty, however I find it looks best as a glitter top coat. 1 coat is usually enough for that purpose.
The formula is nice, not too runny, not too thick like most China Glaze polishes.

I purchased this today at Sally's. From what I understand, it is a limited edition. It is a glitter. In the bottle, it looks like there would have been white in it. Not on my nails. I didn't like it. It looked really strange on me. I used it as a main polish. It probably would look better on top of something else. It also took so much nail polish remover to get rid of it. Not easy! The polish looks pretty in the bottle, I had better hopes for it. I won't be purchasing this one again.
