LOVE!! im a huge mascara person and i am never happy with some results i get one some. This one works wonders on my short blonde lashes. most days i don't have to use a curler. I have it in the purple colour (love it for my hazel eyes) and to me it goes on great and smooth and creates perfectly shaped, length, defined lashes. It goes a bit dry as time goes son like all mascaras but after a year of having this purple mascara its still does a great job.It comes off easy with water at night .I also have it in the brown WATERPROOF and that is also great however it is a strong holding mix. it takes me a long time each night getting the waterproof one off with eye make up remover. I hate scrubbing my eyes so that's my only negative with the waterproof one. I dont buy these at a retailer as they cost $65 NZ i buy them off Strawberry Net and get them for $45 which is still pricey in my eyes but happy to suffer that for a great mascara.

It gives me long and separated lashes, BUT flakes and smudges badly(and this is the reason why I won't purchase it again).

gives my lashes a natural false lash effect and i dont feel like i have mascara on...my lashes feel very light and soft. for me, this worked better than the ysl faux cils and i wish this held my curls without a primer. this has same scent as the faux cil, which i like and the bristle is unique. i find that the formula of this is drier and lengthens and separates my lashes really well and it gives a very soft fluttery, natural yet voluminous look and it does not smudge throughout the day and when i use a eye lash primer, it holds the curl pretty well. i have yet found a mascara that can hold a curl of my stubborn, stick straight lashes. i hate taking off waterproof mascaras so i am always looking and trying a non waterproof mascara that holds my curls but i really do enjoy this mascara with a primer.

My first YSL mascara. The formula is not bad, but I think the brush is the great advantage in Singulier. I don't see the "glamorous volume" or the "voluptuous curl" on my lashes, but some lengthening and a exceptional separation. It's amazing the amount of eyelashes that I can't see when I use other mascaras, I think that no other mascara separates the lashes as Singulier does. Anyway, it's a good mascara for the day-to-day use or a natural look, but it isn't the best choice for those looking for a extraordinary volume. Honestly, I'm not sure if I would buy it again, but I'm curious about other YSL mascaras.

Oh my, where to begin ....

LOVE the brush. HATE the formula. Would love this brush with Faux Cils, or maybe, perhaps, Shocking, but gheesh, this mascara was such a no go for me.

First, very dry. I had to apply and apply and apply to get anything on my lashes (fresh from a major department store, I doubt it was old). And then, much to my chagrin, my lashes lost their curl immediately, after having to apply for the gawd longest time. Here's why I wasn't expecting to be so let down, the mascara description from YSL:

"A daring new interpretation of beautiful eyes. Glamorous volume, bold length, voluptuous curl and dramatic styling: Mascara Singulier dares to do everything.a unique innovation by Yves Saint Laurent, the mascara brush combines the technology of a traditional brush with the structure of a molded brush, to increase the performance of the formula: Structured in an elliptic way, the multidimensional bristles ensure haute-couture precision and dress the lashes evenly from root to tip. By coating the root of the lashes with mascara like a stroke of eyeliner, the brush creates a unique and intense new type of separation. Volumizing micro-spheres thicken the lashes, with provitamin B5 to protect, nourish and reinforce the lashes' structure. Like hair extensions, nylon micro-fibers extend the lashes. A high-performance curling wax helps style the lashes for an ideal curve."

Okay dokee. Did NONE of this for me, in fact, I found it to be a huge let down in all of these areas, except the brush. There are a lot of great mascaras worth the price, that make me a happy Diva.

This ain't one of them. :-)

The mascara that does-it-all.
Length, volume, keeps my lashes separated.
Much better than Chanel sophisticated, Lancome, Dior, Max Factor, Maybelline.

This mascara is divine. It smells of opulence, looks chic and most importantly it's perfect for giving you that natural lush lash look. During the daytime I like my mascara natural but with an extra kick. This does that for me. On a night out though when I want something a little more dramatic, I use this on my bottom lashes and Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill Strech on top. It's a great combo :-)

I remember when I first bought this, I was hesitate only because it was $32 US. But being as expensive as it is, it should only be because it's an amazing product. Luckily for the amount that it cost, the mascara seem to produce so much for my lashes! First and foremost, it held together my curl, something in which almost no other mascara can do! It also lengthen and provided and abundance of beautiful volume, not a clump in sight. The formula is just really amazing, also the brush is very convenient. Not too big, not too small. The curves of the brushes hits the lashes without clumping. I can only describe so much because it just does really amazing things to my lashes that no other mascara could do. I am really into the feathery, soft lashes look and this really delivers such as that. I've tried a bunch, I've returned a good amount of mascaras. Only this mascara was a good keeper. Although I cannot purchase this all of the time for the price is just way to high, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try at least one good amazing mascara once in their life! I say that with confidence! A definite recommendation.

I have this mascara in black.this is the first he mascara I have bought in a long time.i wore Lancôme definicils for years.i like this mascara, it gave me good length and nice volume but I think lash stiletto gives me the same effect. I will continue to use it but not sure if I will repurchase,I'm not really wowed by this mascara.
