Having only recently gotten into MAC I feel so lucky to have been able to receive this via a swap... It is such a gorgeous colour and highly pigmented, you definitely don't have to cake your brush to get a good colour pay-off. It's perfect both wet and dry [there is some issue with fallout but I didn't find it impossible to deal with/clean up]
Definitely one of my favourite MES for an intense and dramatic look :)

I find it difficult to find a blue eyeshadow that doesn't look washed out, or cheap, but this one hit the mark in every way possible! It can be used dry (just chexk that it doesn't transfer, cos it has a tendancy to do that) or wet as an eyeliner, which doesn't budge. It's incredibly pigmented, and well worth the cost [which, in ireland, is grossly marked up from the sterling price :( ] i'd definitely recommend it!

Love the color! A very deep smokey blue that doesn't make me look like a hooker, as most blue shadows do on anyone. It makes a great liquid liner when it's wet, and it's a great buildable shadow. My only gripe is that there is a lot of fallout, but overall, a good buy ^^

I acually think this is a gorgeous color. the only problem I find, is that, the small glitter particals does flake down on your face when you are applying it. that is basiclly the only thing that really brings it down. i think it look gorgeous as a crease color, and lid if you want that dark and smokey look.

overall a great product. (:

I havn't touched this eyeshadow since I bought it on Style Black launch day - because I just couldn't get it to look right.

I don't like using shadows wet cause I find them impossible to blend, and dry (even with blackground as a base) it is just a bit "meh" compared to a lot of other shadows that I own.

However - I just tried this over Fyrinnae's 'Pixie Epoxy' and its GORGEOUS!

A little annoying that the only way to get it to work is by buying something from another brand, but it is extremely pretty this way.

To the ladies in nevada, I found this at the fashiun oulet in primm, nevada on my trip vegas. Its only $13.75 so don't shell out a fortune on ebay for this.

Anyway, I like this shadow when used wet. You can achieve a sexy porn star look. Its definitely not for those who dislike going all out on their eye makeup. I tried using this subtly but it does not work. When I use it wet, its a shiny sparkly metallic blue..so gorgeous. But when used dry, it looks dull gray and unflattering. So sexy and not for the faint of heart

I love this shadow. I got all of the Style Black MES & this is the one I use the most. I use this with Blacktrack Fluidline underneath as a base (apply with a eyeshadow brush to the lid), then add Blue flame on top. I use it dry first to help blend, then when I have the right shape, I use it wet to maximise sparkkle. I love to use this with just Freshwater eyeshadow (I added a pic at the top).

I absolutely love this color. It's so unique that I had to have it, a sort of glimmering deep blue/black that has no dupe. But it's so messy I can't get it on neatly. I'm a spazz and I'm too old and too square for the Pris-from-Blade-Runner look.

Okay so initially I gave this a bad rating but I am changing it now because a fellow MUAer told me to try it wet and I did and it looks awesome! It is such a pretty metallic blue! But however, the reason why I gave it a bad rating to begin with is because I do not like how it looks dry. It looks greyish-black and I could barely see any blue flecks in it. But when worn wet it is the bomb!!! Such a pretty color, I love it! I can't wait to wear it again when I'm out for a night on the town!

All in all i absolutely hate the mac mineralized eyeshadows since they are low pigmented and wayyyy tooooo messy. But this e/s is sooo pretty and unique i just couldnt resist. It needs a black sticky base underneath or you can apply it with a wet brush or mixed with a glitter gel to make it work.

WITH a base, this eyeshadow is the most amazing thing on the planet. black with blue/silvery glitter (small glitter particles, not chunky at all). very bold, electric, funky, and eye-catching.

WITHOUT a base- black eyeshadow with random bits of silver and blue glitter floating around the area (looks independent from the shadow, as if you had spinkled it)

This is one of my favourite MES. The colour is insane when used wet, but is also very nice when used dry. I use this to line my lower lashline and it makes my green eyes POP. I just wish there wasn't so much fallout.

these style black msf e/s's are so gorgeous. i got all 4 of them. blue flame is a black base w/ blue micro glitters. you can really see the blue in this one. i've only tried it w/ the black greasepaint stick underneath. i'll have to try it alone w/ fix + next time.

I always get suckered into buying mineralized eyeshadows because they are soo pretty in the pan. But ususally they apply much more sheerly at least on me, than their regular eyeshadows. Blue flame is a gorgeous black with silvery pieces with lots of blue glitter. I wanted to use this with my blue eye looks to add depth and sparkle to my outer corners, but this one just dosn't really deliver. Applied under a greaspaint all over the lid looks really pretty but that is a look that dosn't work with my eyeshape unfortunately so i think i have to play with blue flame as well as with young punk to see if i can get them to work better for me.

It's so beautiful, and the perfect shade for a sexy Winter night eye. Cool sparkling blue, with Cinderfella. It reminds me of some wrapping paper at Christmas. It's so pretty, I really hate to touch it and want to keep it new. Some people will say they can't wear blue, but this is much more wearable because of the black base shadow. Use it with Fix + and over a Greasepaint stick, and it's amazing.

Another awesome Mineralised eyeshadow MAC came out with in the Style black collection. Like I have already mentioned in my review for young-punk, I am normally not a MES fan... but the quality of this collection is pretty good. Blue flame looks absolutely stunning and intense when used with greasepaint stick as a base (either as a crease colour or to line your eyes)... when used wet the intensity is also amazing. Unique black mineralised eyeshadow with deep blue shimmer... soooo lovely

Absolutely stunning shadow with beautiful blue sparkles.
This makes a magnificent smoky eye. So far I've used it wet on top of the black cream colour base & it looks fantastic. Dark & smoky with a very glam blue sparkle that is amplified when used wet.
I was swatching it over various bases on my hand & tried it over MAC's Icon Eyes kohl pencil & it gave the blue sparkles a slightly purple tint that was breathtaking. I shall be wearing it over that at some point soon.

I want to get all of these shadows! *Even the gold one though I am not overly thrilled with gold.*

For me, I am having a hard time with this one. Not because of the shadow but it is what I am using under it. I was using the blue Greasepaint stick from DSquared, but I find it too dark. I am thinking of using with Sea Me Shadestick or Delft Paintpot instead to see if that makes a difference with it being WAY too dark. I have really pale skin and it is just too stark for my face.

It is pretty much the same effect that Young Punk has. Good texture, not much fallout of the product. I just have to try it differently. It is really pretty. Using a damp brush is good here as well, as with all of the MES from Style Black.

I will edit the review once I try the shadow with different bases as well.
