I think this moisturizer is great. It sinks in well, smells great, and has no comedogenic or irritating ingredients. I have combo and congested skin and this is the only moisturizer I have yet found that actually doesn't cause clogged pores. It doesn't make me shiny and I like that it has a bit of SPF in it as well. I'm still on the search for the perfect moisturizer though...I can't define what doesn't make this one absolutely "the one" but I believe it's a 4 lippie lotion. I did hear that this may be becoming discontinued though.

I really love this moisturizer and don't agree with a lot of the negative reviews, but different things work for different people, I guess. For me, this is an HG product. I love everything about it-it is thin enough so that it moisturizes my normal/oily skin without leaving a greasy film. Doesn't clog my pores, irritate me or cause me to break out. The scent is clean and fresh. All natural and paraben free (which is always a plus!) Great price, convenient packaging, love the added SPF...Plus it wears well under MU because of it's consistency. Leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. What more could a girl ask for!

Wait one hot damn second, people! Are we using the same Rachel Perry Calendula-Cucumber oil free moisturizer?! This is the most pimp shit moisturizer I have ever used in my life. I break out constantly and my skin has never been able to tolerate a moisturizer (and I am more on the dry side of dry combination skin) and my skin eats this shit up! It's the only moisturizer I have found that wont break me out so I can only assume that the temporary breakouts people are seeming to have on this product are normal to changing up the skincare routine. It is normal when you switch up things especially moisturizers to break out a little because your skin isn't used to a certain product. It makes your skin say wtf for a few days then your gold. But honestly i didn't have any problems with the transition. Oh and did i mention this stuff smells like the nectar of the gods? People tell me my face smells good when I wear this. And it has no "fragrance" added except for the cucumbers and other goodies in it. I am super protective over this moisturizer. Don't hate or talk shit on it. Or else...

I was kinda disappointed with this product because I seemed to break out a little more with this. It says oil free but indeed has oil, though oil doesnt necessarily make u break out as I use 100 percent pure virgin coconut oil on my face at night and it is AMAZING, if I mix this in with my coconut oil its great, but alone its nothing special. The smell is lovely and thats about it. Didn't improve my dryness.

I have to say I am a skincare junkie and love trying new products especially on my endless mission to find the perfect skincare routine to perfect my face lol (and definitely have tried to go organic wherever I can these day). I have spent way too much money on every moisturizer available from department stores to drugstores and they always just end up clogging my pores making my produce more oil or overdrying my skin overtime purely due to all the toxic ingredients they contain no matter how nice they are or work.
I have always had very normal looking combo skin which tends to get oily in summer and is very clog prone. Basically every single face moisturizer I have ever tried clogs my pores and makes me oily, hence when I break out. I love everything about this moisturizer as it is cheep, all organic, has the best ingredient list I have ever seen, isnt pore clogging (and even has acne fighting ingredients), has spf, smells to die for, has an amazing light sink in your skin creamy texture leaving your face so soft and dewey, and is just full of antioxidants which is a must for gorgeous healthy skin and the biggest tool is age prevention. The only peev I have with it is it gives you that glowly shiny look lol. I know I'm knit picking as this is my HG moisturizer but I hate having my face whatsoever shiny so definitely can't skip following up with a mattifying powder after using this.
Anyhow take it from someone who has tried ever damn moisturizer out there lol this is the Holy Grail! of everything you could ever want or need for truly healed and gorgeous flawless skin along with the cutest packaging all the Rachel Perry products have. I only wish all organic products were this good!
PS I promise this is also good for evey skin type ever so there is no ecuse to not try it asap! :)

I love this moisturizer. It takes a really good product to get my thumbs up and I don't usually write reviews, but with this, I just had to share. Doesn't break me out, I have really sensitive acne prone skin that is combination so I get oily in my t-zone. This moisturizer however keeps everything balanced, no break outs and smells really good. I love it!! Plus, it's really inexpensive which is a huge bonus.

i have oily acne prone skin and this product makes my face very shiny even though it says otherwise. it is very light lotion and i have not seen any significant improvement in my skin. this lotion is very cheap at less than 10 bucks at vitacost, comes in 4oz pump bottle an the smell is very nice. i dont think i will buy again because of the shine factor as others have mentioned. overall not bad but i will try something else. i think this is excellent product for younger skin who needs light moisture or intersted in starting skincare routine which i never did and at 35 years i regret it.

I've been looking for a long time for a good oil free moisturizer that's cheaper than my 3 year favorite, TBS Kinetin 24 hr lotion, which is $25 a bottle. Finally, I ran out of my TBS lotion and vowed to find something cheaper, and I pulled this out again. I used this everyday for about 3 weeks, and I would not repurchase or reuse after that time. I use tazorac every night, the strongest Rx retnoid, and it can strip my skin and make it flaky. However, while using this (mixed with HA, mind you), my skin went from really flaky to that red burned look. I had to take consecutive night breaks from taz because my skin was so uncomfortable, and this only stung my skin in the morning when I applied it. I stopped using this and switched to jojoba oil mixed with HA to calm my skin down, and I have had no issues since with the taz drying out my skin. As a moisturizer, I am loathe to say this might be fine if you are not using something else, but I haven't had the issues with other moisturizers and taz like I have with this one.

I thought I had found my HG moisturizer for my sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. Its oil free, absorbs quickly and causes no problems with breakouts or makeup application. I need a sunscreen during the day since I'm on retin-a and this has an spf of 15, which is suitable for my 'indoor kid' lifestyle. The packaging is sanitary and very very cute. The price, while not dirt cheap, is entirely fair for such a high quality product. However, my boyfriend refuses to get near me when I apply this stuff because it smells totally synthetic and gross like watermelon bubblicious gum. Bummer. Not a bad product by any means, but definitely not a re-purchase either.

This was really heavy on my skin. It also caused breakouts.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Oily Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I love this face moisturizer! It's perfect for anyone who has oily or combination (T-zone) skin.I use it along with RP's Tangerine Dream Foaming Facial Cleanser during the hot summer months. This is a lotion/cream formula that absorbs instantly with no oily residue. The smell is your average cucumber melony scent ..a nice pick me up in the morning.

i'd always been fascinated by rachel perry's packaging with the sort of hippie-deco look to it. i finally decided to try this moisturizer and i am glad i did. it is light and soaks right into my skin and doesn't make my skin break out, which many moisturizers tend to do. the scent is fresh and light and it has spf for my fair skin. i'll definitely buy more when mine runs out.

Good overall product. I love the fresh scent, and the consistency is that of a light moisturizer. It's done a good job of keeping my skin moisturized without breaking me out, and I love that it comes with SPF.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Violet
Love this product. I have tempermental, acne-prone and very oily skin. This moisturiser gives me SPF protection and doesn't cause any breakouts. If I use too much it leaves me shiny, but then I just use blotting papers. I use this product in conjunction with Rachel Perry's other products, the Tangerine Dream Facial Cleanser, the Herbal Astringent and the Collagen Elastin product. I use all these products twice a day, in the morning and just before bed. They haven't let me down yet. Rachel Perry's stuff is the only brand that keeps my skin in check. The bright packaging and delicious smells are added bonuses, although I could see how they might not be everyone's style.

The only thing I did not like about this product is that it made my face EXTREMELY SHINY. I guess it's the sunscreen. Otherwise I love the packaging with the pump. I like the smell. I like the ingredients. I like the way it absorbs so quickly and it feels very nice on my skin. Did not break me out at all. I have normal to dry skin. I would consider this to be a light weight moisturizer. I have mixed feelings about buying this again (only because of the shiny problem).

Wow. This is good stuff. Smells like watermelon and cucumbers and is totally oil-free and shine-free! This is great for my oily skin. This moisturizer is full of wonderful, natural ingredients and antioxidants that are good for your skin, and it has an SPF 15 that does NOT leave any white cast at all! It just disappears almost instantly into your skin and leaves a soft, matte finish. Smells *heavenly* too! My skin is very oily and this has not clogged my pores or broken me out at all! I was using Clinique Superdefense spf 25 for normal/oily skin, but it was bothering me a little to see the long list of chemicals that I cannot even pronounce in the ingredient list for the Superdefense. So I decided to try something that would have SPF and also have ingredients that are natural and nourish my skin. So I tried the Rachel Perry CALENDULA-CUCUMBER Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF 15 ..... and I am SO glad that I did! I love it!

This oil-free moisturizer contains glycerin and silicones. It felt greasy going on and I could feel it on my skin. It smells like a combination of cucumber and watermelon candy which gave me a headache. I washed this off as I just could not take the feel or smell of this.

I bought this product last fall when I was trying to go more natural with my products, but I found the cleanser I was using very drying as winter approached. That meant that for the first time I was off in search of a moisturizer. I have rather oily very acne prone skin. Its not sensitive at all, but it can be very temperamental when it comes to some products. I bought this because it said that it was light, healing for blemish prone, and had spf, which I was never good about remembering to apply.
I was pretty worried when I tried this because of how oily and acne prone my skin is, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a great smell, which is rather strong, but fades before long. It didnít seem to cause any additional breakouts, and it did add a light bit of moisture to my skin with out making it feel overly greasy. I was very carefully to apply only a very thin layer, so Iím not sure how much of the spf I was getting, but I think a thicker layer would have been too much moisture for my skin. Iím not entirely convinced on how fast and thorough the absorption was, especially when I first started using it I felt like I had a layer of something on my skin long after I applied it, though I only noticed it for the first week or so. I will probably keep using it until summer comes to Maine and the air isnít so dry, then I think it would be too much for my oily skin and I will try to find something with a higher spf.

Not a bad moisturiser. I like that it has healing elements in it like calendula and has the spf. Soaks right into my skin. Ive only used it in the fall and winter so I dont know how much it can control shine. And the smell doesnt seem like watermellon candy to me just cucumbers. Im not hooked on it but it is a nice product. I always feel better when im using all natural products that I know dont test on animals and that dont have extra stuff in them. I got this on sale for 9.99 which wasnt bad. I dont know if Id spend 15 bucks on it though. The pump works great and the packaging is really cute, a minty green. Its nice to try.

I like Rachel Perry's packaging and the ingredient/scent combos. This face lotion is light and cooling and smells like it's supposed to. It did not absorb well into my skin, and i had unpredictable breakout problems when using it.
