This looks completley different on the lips to how it looks in the tube, but that's a good thing I think. On the lips it is a berry pink/purple colour with a subtle shimmer. It is great for people like me who sometimes want a change from the normal pink colours but aren't daring enough to wear a dark lipstick, as this provides a nice pop of colour without being too dramatic. This is probably my favourite lipgloss colour and it flatters my cool fair skintone, and I always feel flirty and confident when wearing it. I find it stays on for a few hours but does fade to more of a lip stain after a few hours but still looks good. The formula is nice, not too sticky, however my lips do feel dry after using this. My mind isn't made up on the packaging for this, whilst it is hygenic it would be easier to apply if it had a wand.

Oh, I am in love with this product.

Illamasqua describes the colour as a "deep berry pink" which I believe is a fairly good description. It looks very different on the lips than in the tube, though and I think that's definitely worth emphasising. It looks like a fairly metallic deep purple, but it really doesn't look that way. It's a very accessible rosy berry with plenty of shimmer. On the other hand, if I had bought the lipgloss untested based on what I thought the colour really was, I would have been sorely disappointed. The colour swatch on the Illamasqua website is very good though, they have the colour swatched directly on the lips. This looks utterly sublime over the Illamasqua lipstick "Underworld", an 'iridescent blueberry violet, shimmer finish'. Marry me, Illamasqua.

This looks nothing like it does in the tube once applied, on my fairly pigmented pink lips it's a beautiful medium pinky/berry with very subtle shimmer, smells great too

This is a tricky one to describe. It's rather pigmented, even for a sheer gloss. I think Illamasqua in general is a pigmented line. But this is much sheerer than their intense glosses, which are the very definition of pigmented.

Anywho, in the tube it looks like a darky, shimmery berry purple. When I apply, I put a glob (for lack of a better word) on my bottom lip and then spread, then repeat if I need more. When I first apply, it looks like it's going to a purple frosty mess, but once I spread it around, it's a nice sheer purple plum/berry with just a hint of shimmer.
