I thought this was genius, really worked on me, not clearing pores entirely but certainly minimising them.

Got this as part of a Pores No More sample kit. It works great as a spot treatment! You can't actually go out with it on though

I have combination skin, an oily t-zone and am prone to blackheads on my nose. I purchased this product hoping it would start to clear up my blackheads. Unfortunately it didn't help much. I did notice that it cleared up some blackheads, but it didn't do much overall after a couple weeks of use, and I used the product 3 times a week. I got a sample of Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque and in one use my nose was visibly clearer. It was able to get out the tough blackhead that Dr. Brandt Vacuum couldn't. Needless to say, I returned Dr. Brandt Vacuum Cleaner and purchased a full size of Kiehl's masque. But just to let you know about the Vacuum Cleaner: it comes in a blue squeeze tube, and for the amount that I was using on my nose three times a week, I would say there was a fair amount of product but not for the price. The solution comes out white and turns blue once you've applied. There is a tingling sensation when you apply it, but nothing painful. It does remove maybe less stubborn blackheads, but it doesn't do much for improving the texture or size of the pore. And in comparison to the Kiehl's masque, Kiehl's did minimize the look of pores after a few uses.

While I've only used it a few times, I really like it.

I have sensitive-combination skin, and when I heard how heavy duty this way supposed to me, I got a bit nervous. I have a small sample bottle right now.

I use it after cleansing my face with PTR's Gentle Foaming Cleanser. After 7 or so minutes, I washed it with warm water and, I kid you not, DIRT and BLACKHEADS came off on the washcloth. It leaves me red for only a few minutes, but the blackheads on my nose and cheeks are literally 50% gone. I love this.

Yes, I agree it is a bit pricey, but if I keep getting these results...well. I really won't care~!

I don't know if this has been reformulated but it is now in a dark blue tube rather than the pump. I was surprised to see the bad reviews I have had this for a week and my stubborn nose blackheads are 10000% improved. For the ones that it didn't clear out it was certainly easier to manually extract!

I really wanted this product to work on the stubborn blackheads on and around my nose, but unfortunately it just didn't deliver the results I was hoping for. It definitely didn't unblock my pores at all, and it didn't make extracting them any easier. For this price, I expected a lot more. I did try using pore strips afterward, and saw no difference with that either.

I love this product! I bought the new tube design from space NK after seeing LE recommend it and I have to say after six weeks of twice weekly masks this is the closest I've ever come to completely irradicating my blackheads. The smell is awful, it smells like shoe polish, but I can live with that as the results are great. I genuinely think this has improved my skin tone too, my red patches look diminished. I don't know if this has been reformulated as well as repackaged but I don't see dilated pores after use it leaves my pores refined. Sadly that doesn't last but it's certainly given them the best clean out they've ever had.

The sales associate at Sephora told me this was awesome for removing blackheads. He made it seem like your blackheads would be removed once you rinsed this product off. This didn't happen. It worked better on my chin than on my nose. It didn't seem to get rid of any on my nose.

Another problem I have is the pump stopped working. Not really sure what's causing this since I tried rinsing the pump and nothing seems to be stuck/dried in the nozzle. I can't seem to fix it. Anyone else have this problem?

ok, i got this product for free with a purchase from sephora, and i'm so iffy about whether it's worth paying for. as others have noted below, it has a way of dilating pores in hopes that somehow the blackheads will be 'vaccuumed' out. the latter part, you have to do yourself! by that i mean, after rinsing the product off, i noticed my pores were bigger and more open, but they weren't completely clear. i was able to clear them by washing my face again (with my clarisonic) or using a pore strip. point being, i don't know if this will be a typical routine for me because of the price of the product and the fact that pore strips and clarisonic are just as effective!

I ended up taking this product back because I saw little to no results while using it. My skin did feel/look a bit tighter but it didn't clear out my pores or even remotely help with blackheads/whiteheads. If your going to try it, maybe get it from somewhere like Sephora with a good return policy.

I love some of Dr. Brandt's products, but this did not help the stubborn blackheads on my nose. My skin felt tingly and refreshed -- I just wish it had loosened more of the clogged pores in my T-zone.

Didnt see any results when I used this product by itself, but when combined with Biore Pore Strips, it loosens up the blackheads so when you apply the pore strips, you remove more dirt and gunk then if you were using either of them by itself. Can't beat this team! Make sure to follow instructions exactly.

Another great Dr. Brandt product. Although it may not be strong enough for younger, acne-prone skin, it works well on my middle-aged combination/oily skin. I only use it on my nose and forehead and allow it to dry a good 15 minutes before rinsing it off. It isn't overly drying and does not cause flaking. It removes blackheads over time if you continue to use it 3 or 4 times a week. The pore strips that every one is raving about below are way too strong for mature skin and can actually cause broken capillaries if used repeatedly.

I got this for my nose blackheads. I use it while having a bath the recommended 10mins or so.. and then follow with a nose strip and it works great!! I have to agree it doesnt work the miracles it claims.. and ive tried it on its own, and its only so so... but this combination (bath steam+product+nose strip) has worked wonders for me! Try out a sample!

I was pushed by a sales lady to purchase this product, and I did since she promised me it would remove blackheads on my nose.
I have been using this product twice a week for 6 weeks, and not only did it not take any blackheads out, it added some more. It seems as if it vacuums the blackheads to the surface of your skin, but then does not extract them?
I only had a few black dots on the sides of my nose, and now I noticed I started having some on the top as well.
So, after stupidly wasting 50 CAD on this pretty blue pump, I will never again purchase this, or any other Dr. Brandt product.
By the way, I researched this brand, and it is not dermatological, which means the "doctor" part in the name is pure marketing.
Don't waste your money.

I was given really good reviews on this product and seeing that pores are a really big sore point about my face, I dove head in without even bothering to ask for a sample. I guess that was a very big mistake

Whilst this product isn't bad per se (I haven't noticed any breakouts or discomfort that I can directly attribute to this product), it's probably not the best either. I just haven't noticed any results! It's actually really frustration because they have those before an after photos on the packaging and it really sucked me in!

I'm not sure if it's my pores in general (they've really been uncooperative for my whole life), but for me this isn't great.

I'll return to this review if I notice any changes in the future. (Maybe I should do comparison photos myself.... )

There are countless products on the market, don't bother with this one! It does absolutely nothing for clogged pores. Buy pore strips, they work a million times better. This was sadly a massive waste of money.

This is an expensive waste of time. It was difficult to apply and didn't feel nice on my skin. Did absolutely NOTHING in regards to getting rid of stuff out of pores, and made my skin dry and flaky. Do not waste your money on this!

This provides a beautiful finished look to my skin after letting it sit for 15 minutes. It doesn't suck anything out of my pores. (And I didn't expect that it would despite the claims, sadly, we have the laws of physics with which to deal.) But, it does make extractions easier, either manually or if followed with pore strips. (I use Biore.) It seems to leave my skin more balanced than other masks and I don't feel like it's too much to be part of a two or three step process if the mood strikes. (Unlike, say QHMJ, after that I am red and can't do anything else.) I like the smell and feel of this product. As someone else noted the product does tend to form a little plug which is annoying and wastes product, still I prefer the pump to a jar.
The container is small and I go through this quite quickly. I don't know if this provides any real lasting effect but I am pleased with the immediate result and when I roll up my sleeves and follow up with more treatments it pays off.

On it's own probably three lippies, but I bumped it up to four because of the synergistic effect it plays with the rest of my routine.
