I'm disappointed with this conditioner. I have highlights and they left my hair quite dry on the ends. The conditioner didn't do anything to help with this. Surprisingly, my husband and daughter like the conditioner, so maybe I just need something more moisturizing because of my processed hair. Still, I had bought a big bottle of this with a pump, hoping the whole family could use it instead of having lots of little bottles cluttering up the shower. Oh, well. :(

At first, I HATED IT.

Because it made my hair SO DRY and nasty! It felt like I put bleach on my hair! (which funny thing there's sodium hydroxide in the ingredients.)

Then when I dyed my hair red, and I began to cocktail it with a different conditioner... I liked it better. It didn't dry out my hair and it left the color super vibrant.

So if I were to buy it again, I'd cocktail it.

I would say to at least try it and see if it works for your hair.

I wish that I had read other reviews before buying this conditioner (and shampoo). Aweful conditioner! If I could have given it a negative 5 rating I would have. I have used $3 conditioners that work better than this! After using the shampoo I applied the conditioner and was surprised at how thin it felt. I left it on for the recommended time and after rinsing out lightly towel dried my hair. My hair was so dry after using it, and I'm pissed that I just paid $17 for my hair to be a frizzy ball of dryness. Thanks Matrix. The ONLY good thing about this conditioner is that it smells nice. That's it.

Not really impressed by this conditioner. I used this after the shampoo (which I gave a poor review, just didn't work with my hair). My hair felt moisturised and conditioned after the shampoo and dry after this.
When I used it after other shampoos I didn't really feel like it had done anything for my hair and it was very hard to detangle while drying.
It might suit fine hair that is weighed down easily. The ends of my hair is very dry so they suck up conditioner. This wasn't enough. Maybe if my hair was healthier.

I've been using LUSH conditioners which work much better with my hair. But I'm switching to sls free so on the search for a replacement. Trying John Masters next. Very excited about that! :)

I wanted to like this as much as the shampoo, but no such luck. It's not the worst conditioner, but it's not especially moisturizing. I agree with another reviewer, I seemed to have some slight static issues, at least with those short baby hairs around the hairline. I have to use a little more of this than with other conditioners to get proper detangling. I do like the cap (it looks like a basic flip-top, but it actually twists open slightly and the product is dispensed through a small hole at the base), but for the price, I would expect better. Will not repurchase.

I really liked the shampoo for this line, it's the most lather I've ever had from a "no sulfate" shampoo. The conditioner, however, was a disappointment. Not very moisturizing, it left my hair static-y. My favorite is the conditioning balm, this conditioner doesn't even compare.

I had so hoped this was the like the old Conditioning Balm (before they changed the formula about 6 years ago) - you know, lighter in texture and fragrance. But it's not, I couldn't even get this to disperse properly throughout my hair. I thought it was awful. And why do they think they need SO much fragrance?

This conditioner just doesn't fit the bill for my hair. I like the shampoo and the serum, but not the conditioner. i have not really liked the Biolage conditioner and prefer more hydration/moisture...like Kerastase, Bedhead Brunette Goddess, or even Matrix Sleek Look conditioner. But, I think if you have more fine hair or hair that is easily weighed down this may work for you? I need a bit heavier conditioner.

Truly amazing product! It is silicone free, gentle parabens and has argan oil. The scent is just like other Biolage products. I use the matching shampoo with this conditioner. The conditioner is thick and applies easily through my hair. I leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse. My hair is soo soft after I rinse my hair.
It does not add any weight to my hair which I like but adds nice moisture. My hair is much more manageable, shiny and smooth. I have had so many compliments when I use it! I will re-buy this combo for sure!
