Sinful Colors' Let's Talk is such a beautiful purple, definitely my favorite color that I've picked up from the brand. This is far from my favorite nail polish brand, I've had a lot of wear and staining issues with other Sinful polishes, but Let's Talk may have changed my opinion. Sinful Colors, a recent acquisition of Revlon, offers a huge selection of shades for a very reasonable price. Each bottle contains .5fl oz (15ml) and retails for around $2. Sinful Colors nail lacquers are DBP, Toluene, and formaldehyde free. Sinful Colors does not test on animals and makes their products in the USA. Sinful Colors products are available at drugstores worldwide.
Sinful Colors' bottles are plain but cute. The round glass bottles are topped with a texturized black plastic cap. SC is embossed on the top of the cap. The brand logo can be found on the front of the bottle. Some product info can be found on the back of the bottle. The shade name is listed on a label on the bottom of the bottle. The Sinful Colors brush is pretty basic; average length, average width, average flexibility, with no splayed bristles.
Let's Talk's formula seems very thin, which is definitely a problem that plagues Sinful Colors polishes. The polish just drips off the brush in a way that had me awaiting application disaster. Surprisingly, this polish only pools a bit on the edges of the nails. The first coat of Let's Talk goes on streaky and uneven, but has decent color payoff. The second coat evens out everything and makes the color entirely opaque. Let's Talk dries pretty quickly, about a minute per coat. This polish doesn't chip or peel, but the wear isn't that good. Let's Talk suffers from significant shrinkage, which is unattractive and eventually causes the polish to come off.
I'm kinda willing to overlook the shrinkage because the color of Let's Talk is beautiful and so brilliant that my camera can't handle it! Let's Talk is a bright but deep purple with strong blue tones. This is definitely an eye catching, flashy color, which is only enhanced by the nearly metallic finish. Unfortunately, Let's Talk;s finish gets very dull after a day or so because of the shrinkage.
I like Sinful Color's Let's Talk. The color is so beautiful and deep. I don't have many purple polishes, so this shade is really a standout in my collection. While Let's Talk doesn't suffer from the watery formula and peeling so many other Sinful polishes do, but it does shrink on the nail. The formula isn't perfect but the color is! The rich, shiny purple is bold, intense and well worth putting up with the poor wear. I'd definitely recommend and repurchase Sinful Color's Let's Talk. I buy it as a gift for friends pretty often. Who can't fall in love with this color?

I LOVE this color! I always get so many compliments whenever I wear it. It's a little bluer than in the bottle, but changes in the light. The color is almost impossible to describe...a gorgeous deep purple with a jewel tone blue hue. In some lights it's more purple while in others it's a bright blue. It's eye catching and will guarantee compliments! I can't tell you how many people asked what color it was. With a base and top coat this lasted a little over a week without chipping, which is unheard of for me. I was really impressed with this polish. My sister had Irish Green by SC a couple years ago and I remember the formula being really runny and thin. I love this color though, and it was only .99 at Target! So happy I picked this up ^.^

I took one lippy off because the color did not look anything like how it does in the bottle! This isn't necessarily a bad thing because it was still really pretty but it looked metallic blue with a very faint trace of purple. I would love it to show up more purple and be truer to how it looked in the bottle

The formula was excellent - one of my favorite Sinful applications. I thought it would be sheer but 2 coats definitely did the trick! Drying time was a little longer than usual for Sinful but nothing painstaking.

I would buy again and hope that maybe I just picked up a funky bottle (as far as coloring goes.)

This is my favorite Sinful Colors nail polish. The shade of purple is really unique. I always get compliments when I wear this color. It is opaque in 2 coats.

I am usually not a fan of this brand but I really wanted a color that mimicked the color of the Crown Royal bag. :P This is perfect. It's SO brilliant looking. In natural light it's VERY purple, but in fluorescent lighting it's blue! It's so special.

Absolutely beautiful purple! I love Sinful polishes for their lasting power and their spread-ability. This Let's Talk polish was no exception. It went on perfectly the first time and the color was so 'not' streaky as some can be. This shade is so vibrant and perfect of a purple to match my dark Amethyst jewelry. Usually Sinful polish last as long as I want it to on my fingers. I always use a Sally Hanson top coat and this may help.
Got to love this color. I won't buy a backup yet but if I notice that it is running low on the shelf, I just may do so. I hope Sinful keeps this color in it's lineup.
UpDate: Time to buy another bottle of this beauty! I get so many compliments every time I wear this violet purple color and my bottle is running low, so....got to get another!

I adore this color & I own other Sinful Colors polishes but even with my awesome top coat this polish started chipping after less than 2 days. 1 of the prettiest purples I own but I wouldn't recommend wearing for more than a day or 2.

There is NO other purple like this.

This color, while not necessarily neon, has precisely the right touch of neon to make it uniquely vibrant. Most jewel-toned purples are nice, but they all seem to lack a common thing... a quality. Salience? They may look a tad brownish or raisin in certain lights, or otherwise just not catch the eye like a jewel-toned shade ought to. Let's Talk is the only purple nail polish I've seen that's sufficiently bright yet still deep and jewel-toned. The electric violet base in combination with the fine, dense, warm purple shimmer is what makes it so special. In two coats, it leans a bit cool-toned, but wearing it (one coat) over black mysteriously warms it up a little without darkening it much. This is usually how I wear it, and it looks spectacular.

This color is much more pigmented than the other Sinful shimmer shades I own (san francisco, gorgeous, and see you soon). I was worried about pigmentation as that is the problem I have with most Sinful polishes, but to my surprise this color DELIVERS. Also unlike most Sinful polishes, it is of a nice manageable consistency -- none of the usual goopiness.

Don't rely on photos for an accurate idea of the color... go look at this in a store. You'll fall in love.

I've been wanting China Glaze's Coconut Kiss for a long time, but Ive been holding out for a sale. I found this at Walgreens for a third of the price so I snagged it, along with I Love You. Let's Talk is a bright blue purple with the smallest hint of pink shimmer. I needed 2 coats to get the color payoff. Lasting power is mediocre without a topcoat.

Usually when I review nail polishes, I take into consideration things like #1) how long they last without chipping, #2) how many coats it takes to achieve an opaque color if the color is supposed to be opaque two or three are fine (more than that is not good), #3) how long it takes for each coat to dry, and #4) whether or not it's really streaky (a little streaky is fine as long as the end results are not streaky, but extremely streaky is bad).

I cannot tell you how long this polish lasts without chipping. I can say that it takes about 4 thin coats to achieve an opaque color payoff (which this color is GORGEOUS). I also can tell you, unfortunately, that this nail polish is EXTREMELY STREAKY and, even worse, it seems to NEVER DRY. Seriously! This is my first ever Sinful Colors polish and I'm thinking $1.99 was way too much to pay for it. I tried applying this THREE times. The third time I was the most forgiving with drying time. I applied it in 3 or 4 extremely thin coats (well, *tried* to make them extra thin--the brush and formula do not work well for that). I waited until the new coat seemed dry (I didn't want to mess it up so I only touched it lightly) before applying the next. About an HOUR LATER it WAS NOT DRY. I discovered that when I accidentally bumped something with my nails. I was so aggravated at my mistake (and that it STILL WASN'T DRY) that I touched each hard to find NONE of my nails were dry. I can be forgiving of polishes if the price is cheap and they can at least dry fast and look nice for one day before chipping, but never drying? Sorry, I can't forgive that. And something tells me the other color I bought will be the same way. Such a waste. :(

Fantastically glowy, gorgeous, distracting royal purple. Let's Talk is a medium purple with shimmer that really makes it look lit from within. The finish on my nails reminded me of chocolate Easter egg aluminum wrappers for some reason...it's very shiny and eye-catching. The formula was great, but I can't comment on lasting power...I removed the color after a day because I simply could not stop looking at my nails. RUN and pick up this color!

Love this color. I passed it up initially because I thought it would be a dupe of nars 'purple rain', which I already have. But this is much more vibrant shade of purple and different enough from the nars to warrant owning both. I love laying this under WnW 'wild orchid', which gets lots of compliments.

I've passed this up several times, because it doesn't have any glitter and doesn't look very interesting in the bottle. But a member posted a pic on the nail board, and I was instantly smitten. I went back to Walgreens and picked it up. Good gravy, this is a gorgeous purple. It reminds me of "Laker blue" but it's so glowy and shiny... almost futuristic. A stunner. And it's only $1.99! I will definitely pick up another bottle as a backup. And maybe a 3rd to Franken.

This is an amazing purple. It's a glowing deep violet shimmer - very similar to China Glaze Coconut Kiss except more violet. I've never seen another color quite like it, and the quality is great for the price (like most of the Sinfuls I've tried so far). I'm so hooked on Sinful nail polishes because of the unique colors, availability and low price.

two coats is all you need with this polish. i didn't even use a top coat on it, because it's so shiny and shimmery as it is. it dries fast and last for about a week with no chips. fabulous!
