Love this eyeliner. It's a transparent black, which is exactly what I love about it. I use it during the day to darken my water line but what it does is make my eyelashes look thicker because it isn't a typical black. You can barely see the colour but definitely notice a darkening around the lash line. Love it.

Horrible. I cannot believe I am giving a Chanel product a zero rating, as I am an avid fan. But this eyeliner requires pressing down a lot to get the color out, then it comes off in chunks and not smoothly, finally it is nonexistant. What a rip off, they should be giving this thing away for free. The rest of the collection is ok, but I would stay away from this one.

This color reminds me of Laura Mercier's black violet khol pencil, but not as smudgy or messy. I love the LM color, but dislike the fact it smears so quickly. I have green eyes and this shade really brings the color out for me. I knocked off a lippie for overall rating because I dislike the waxy formula, which doesn't smudge as nicely as LM, but is acceptable as far as longievity is concerned... This looks great paired with all the shades in the Noirs/Folie eyeshadow palette. It is a limited edition for fall 2009.

This is a black/purple pencil. It goes on very nicely and does not tug at the skin. It is not a deep black, therefore works very well day or night and is not harsh at all. It compliments the new black lipsticks in particular Hysteria and I use it is my lip liner for that colour. I am not sure if my eyes are going to react to it as they do to most Chanel products on the eyes, but I will try it and update if so. So far, the name alone is fantastic and is so much fun and pencils are so easy to apply especially when they have a touch of colour in them than it makes it even easier day or night! I see this with a tad of silver, gray or violet/purple on the eye lid, and again the white dusty skin because these black/gray purples really pale you out. I wore a purple/gray eye yesterday with Lilac Sky on the lip and everyone at work said I looked very pale and what was wrong with me. I thought: excellent. This season is not a look for the faint of heart, but hey, if you are going to name your products Demoniac and such, you are catering to a limited crowd I think. That said, again, not a warm, come hither colour, but fun fun fun!
