Golden Lights shade is a beautiful metallic pale gold. The formula is horrible though. Its a cream to powder eyeshadow which is difficult to get looking right it dries sooo quickly and doesn't blend. It looks cakey and horrible and makes my eyelids look crepey and lined. I tried to use it up as a cheekbone highlighter instead. But it looks too obvious and fake - it dries before I can sheer it out enough and sits there in a cakey, fake-looking metallic stripe.

This hasn't worked out for me as a stand alone eyeshadow product. It looks brilliant in the catalogue but it doesn't blend well for me and doesn't stay put...

However!

This stuff makes an absolutely BRILLIANT base for powder eyeshadows. Stays put, intensifies colour and adds a beautiful shimmmer.

I was really skeptical to try this product because I've tired products in the past that you put on while they were wet and then they were suppose to dry into eye shadow but they didn't work very well and you always ended up with a crease on your eye lid and it looked horrible.
I have to say with this stuff, that is defiantly not the case. This stuff works amazing. I have the colors "pink sugar", "Mocha Flash", and "Bronze Shine". I have light skin and brown hair and this stuff looks awesome. The only thing is you have to put it on and leave your eye closed for a good 60 seconds so that it dries completely, but that is expected. I absolutely can't wait until Avon has this again to order because I'm going to order a few different colors. It's pretty decently priced, I'm sure you could find it on sale for $3.99 but it might be normally $6.99 but even that isn't too bad. The packaging could be more exciting, it just looks like a bottle you would get lip gloss in, only it's wet eye shadow. But I would for sure buy this stuff again, I really like it. With the lip gloss wand applicator you can really control how much product your wanting and where you want to put the product unlike some wet eye shadow applicators. You should try it!

I have this in 'golden lights' and have actually been using it as a cheekbone/facial highlighter! The subtle gold highlights the face and makes it look more radiant. Tried it on my eyes but it was a bit difficult to apply, and wore off too easily.

It kind of feels like lipgloss to me :(
The colour doesn't stay for long because I have oily eyelids, and it just gathers up in my crease.
It wasn't that expensive, so I wasn't expecting much anyways.

I love this product! I have it in both Bronze and Silver. The trick is, you have to smooth it as much as possible before it comes even close to drying. Been there, done that. It kind of just rubs off if you try to blend it any further after application. Other than that, I love it. It lasts all day (again, just don't touch it too much), and is perfect for when I am in a hurry.

Im really taking a liking to Avon.It seems like their products are improving. I love their glazewear diamonds! I have this in the color bronze..I know some people complained that its not pigmented enough but I found that if you applied it concentratedly,it does give good color pay off.But thats not why I like it.I like it because it is versatile. It can deliver good pigmenation but personally I love it more for a sheer wash of color. It gives the eyes a sparkle without being so obvious but subtle instead. The color is just gorgeous as well. The staying power is average but if you use a primer prior to applying this, then it should notwear off.

I have the colors in both Silver and Bronze. Although they look very pretty in the book, even so when I put it on, I don't like the feel of it, and it just feels to 'wet'. The applicator is almost like the ones you put on with lip gloss, and it either goes on to thick or to little on my eyes. I always have trouble getting it on even. I don't normally wear liquid color eye shadow but I just think its to much work to get it on nice and neat. I also like to have these colors under my lower eyelids to bring some shimmer. I might just stick with the pencil or pressed poweders. Might work out for others, I just needs something that blends better.
