This lotion is wonderful. I have pretty dry skin so I have been searching for a very hydrating lotion that doesn't leave a sticky residue or feel like it's coating your skin. I am also pretty particular about scents. I tend to be a Bath and Body Works triple moisture lotion kind of gal, but decided to seek a new product. I tried the Aveeno lotion, but it didn't really work for me. So I stopped by Lush at my local mall and found a new love. I had an incredibly nice sales associate talk with me about my skin and then test stuff on me and explain what it was made of. The coco lotion is very hydrating and does not leave you feeling sticky or covered in something. It has helped make my skin very smooth and leaves a very faint coconut smell. (There is no added scent). The formula seems thick at first, but once you rub it in, it vanishes! I do like the little pot it comes in, but it would make it difficult if I wanted to travel with it. Overall, great product!

I adore this lotion! It has a lovely creamy almost whipped texture, but melts into my skin. I get terrible dry patches in winter, but in just a few days use this is clearing them up and leaves my skin looking amazing. I love the tub, and the only downfall is while it claims to be lightly scented, I don't smell a thing. This actually works on for me since I don't have to worry about scents clashing. Will definitely repurchase for winter-time use.

I tested this body lotion blind-folded (well, not literally, but I didn't know what was in the jar I received :-))
The coco lotion seems to have oil in it which makes it super fun to apply. It rubs in like a dream and gets absorbed quickly. It doesn't feel sticky at all and it leaves my skin feeling super soft, even after 24 hours.
Don't expect this lotion to smell anything like coconut, though. The fragrance is barely there. Which could be a pro ffor those who don't like their skin products to have a strong scent, or a con for those who like products that are more noticeably scented (like me :-))

Ok I think I used this enough to be able to review. I am a type of person that MUST put on lotion after every shower or else I will become severely dry and itchy. You would think I have dry skin but I'm actually oily, I know I blame it on my weird family genes. Any who the cream itself its somewhat greasy and feels like its doing something, but in reality its only doing the bare minimum. Its a light mositurizer but after a while it feels like you didn't put anything at all. I notice after putting some on at night before going to bed I feel itchy in certain places I know I slathered the lotion and they still feel itchy as if I didn't put any on at all. I feel Lush in general is either hit or miss and does not last as long as they claims it does. This product is definately a miss especially since its $20 a tub. Honestly I'm all for natural items but for something that's "natural" the price is a ripe off. The container that it comes in even sucks, if its a lotion it should be in a bottle not in a tub where I can touch and contaminate the remaining product. Sorry Lush but this is a fail for $20.

I like the way the cream sinks in and it moisturizes well. Between this one, Dream Cream, and Sympathy for the Skin, Coco sinks in the fastest and suits my skin best so far. It's one of the few moisturizers that actually last more than one day on my skin. It didn't immediately sting my skin in places where I had scratched too hard on my winter-dry skin like others I have tried. I wish it came in a bottle or tube. I don't like putting my fingers in a pot, but decanting a little at a time in a smaller container helps with that. The smell is a very nice light, almost unscented type of scent. I like the scent more than Dream Cream's overpowering scent. I like that the light scent won't clash with a perfume. It is quite pricey though. It's lovely, but I will keep looking for another moisturizer that is as nice but cheaper.

Note: I used to have a tub or two of Dream Cream on me at any time. I thought it was the best lotion EVER, until I found Coco Lotion.
I use this on my face every day and night. I have very dry flaky skin in the winter, and I get a little moist in the face in the summer, but this lotion takes care of it all. It's great under makeup if you're going for the dewy look, and never breaks me out!
It may seem expensive ($20 for a tub), but considering that one tub lasted me seven months, it's well worth it to me. Otherwise, I'd have to spend at least $10 monthly for a new tube of drugstore moisturizer. I just purchased my second tub, and am committed to a long-term relationship with it.

I got this as a sample, but I wouldn't buy it when its done. Its pretty moisturizing without being greasy. However, it doesn't smell like anything. I find if I'm spending more money on a product, especially buying things from Lush, then it should at the very least have a scent or smell good in addition to performing well. Its the unique perfume inside Lush products that make them worth buying and different. Since Coco Lotion doesn't smell, I might as well be buying an unscented lotion at the drugstore for half or even a quarter of the price.

This product is very moisturizing and does make my skin feel soft. It is a tad bit greasy when I first but it on, but then it dries quickly and my hands are soft! The smell doesn't bother me at all. It's a typical lush smell, natural lotiony smell. I probably won't purchase again, only because I love the Dream Cream way better. I do like the packaging, the little buckets are cool because I can see how much I have left and I just dunk my hands in and go. Perfect!

Pros: subtle smell, nice texture, good ingredients.
Cons: greasy, expensive, LUSH has plain ugly packaging in general in my opinion.
I don't use this as a body lotion because I find it too greasy and expensive but it does a nice job as a night time hand and foot cream. I don't go to bed with a nauseating smell and my cuticles and soles of my feet have stayed baby soft and hydrated. I enjoy the feeling of it and I sniff it every time I open it because I find the nice subtle natural smell soothing at bedtime. I will repurchase for a night table staple item!

I am normally anti-Lush. I think their products are over priced and most of their stuff smells weird. However, this little jar of heaven changed my mind! I recently bought a jar of this directly from LUSH online, and I really, really like this lotion! It's very rich and creamy, and leaves my skin satiny soft. It does take a few minutes to absorb, but I can live with that. This lotion has also done wonders for my dry, red, scaly elbows...I've noticed that the redness has almost disappeared! I really like this product! The one thing I would change is the jar - this really should be in a bottle!

I really like Coco Lotion and will definitely buy it again at some point. I love the way it gives my skin this really smooth, satin-like feel, and the way it doesn't clash with any of my perfumes.
The are only two cons I can think of: I'm not very fond of the smell (and yes, I know it's unscented and that the ingredients are the only thing you can smell), and also, I think it's a bit pricey. I do think it's worth the money, but it's not like a little goes a long way - you have to use quite a bit of it, so I think they should lower the price of this one.
Saying that, I absolutely love Lush and most of their products, so I will be returning to Coco Lotion. In my opinion, it's a very good every day body lotion that works well with sensitive skin :)

I'm in love with this lotion.
It has everything I look for in a body moisturiser: light scent, light consistency and not too terrible ingredients, and the results are smooth silky skin.
I love how unscented this is - it obviously smells of something but it's really light and I can't quite identify it - I can use it with or without other fragrances and it doesn't give me headaches. I also love how the skin absorbs it well but you can still feel the moisture many hours later. Probably not the HG for the driest skin but it does a wonderful job for me.
The downsides are the price - a tad expensive and I don't know if I can make it last very long, though I try to - and the packaging: my lid has some defects in the plastic and when I got the lotion from ordering online a little bit of it was spilt. Not the best package for body lotion, I'm terrified it's going to fall in the floor and I'll lose everything.
But heavens, I love it.

FACE moisturizer
Ok guys, i got this because i wanted a light lotion for the summer time. well one day when i was overseas, the moisturizer i had was making my skin crazy so i just started applying this. well ommggg, now i use it for my face all the time. it is the only moisturizer i found that DOESN'T BREAK ME OUT. i have sensitive, combo to normal skin and rarely get spots only the occasional one here and there... and almost every moisturizer i tried did something wrong to my face except this. coco butter tends to break some folks out and i am one of them, this is the only body lotion that lush has that doesn't contain cocobutter... seriously, try it for your face.

Reading these reviews, I'm kind of surprised at the comments on the smell: this lotion has NO ADDED PERFUME. It smells like the ingredients, and nothing more. It's called Coco Lotion after cocoa butter, not coconuts or cocoa like chocolate. I work for Lush, and this is one of three unscented products in the entire store.
Now, the review: This is, in my opinion, one of the best lotions Lush makes. It sinks in really nicely, and has the perfect balance between moisturizing and not leaving an oily film on the skin. It's pretty lightweight, but definitely does the job. It won't interact badly with your perfume either, because obviously, it has no scent. I love the feel of it, and it's also really soothing for irritated skin, like just after shaving. Definitely recommend.

I bought this because it is more non scented compared to other LUSH lotions. This does moisturize my skin really nicely.
I want to try other lotions but some are so scented I wouldn't be able to wear my perfumes with them.

I like this lotion however it is no miracle (which Iwasn't looking for anyway). It is a great every day lotion to layer on after a shower. It is realy moisturising and gentle on the skin. I would like it to smell a little more of coconut but I'm glad they havn't added any un naturall scent to it.

Overall this is just an average lightweight lotion. Nothing super special about this but I guess this would be a nice moisterizer in the hotter, sticky, summer months. I don't understand why this is priced @ close to $20.00 for a tub of 8.9 oz. Kinda pricey in my opinion! You could do better getting a cheap dollar store lotion for the same amout. I could barely smell the scent to this either. If you are looking for serious moisturizing stick to any of the LUSH's solid "Massage Bars" they last all day.

i just bought a tub a few weeks ago and i dont think im going to use this on my body anymore maybe just for my feet from now on... i bought this because the SA told me it would be brightening and it smelled slightly like a pina colada but it takes forever to absorb and it makes me really itchy :/ i dont like the screw on tub either...itsheavy, unsanitary, and inconvenient.

I really enjoyed this product. I just finished my first tub over a 2 month period, here are my thoughts:
PROS: (1) scent free. I am confused by some of the reviews, perhaps it was my batch, but there was no actual scent. I could layer my perfume/body mist on time without any problems. (2) absorbs quickly does not leave moisturizing coating over skin. (3) soothing after shaving. Many lotions make my skin sting or become bumpy when I apply after shaving. This one left them soft and smooth. (4) the enzymes in this definitely smoothed out the texture of my skin, but more then anything i think this moisturizer penetrates deeper instead of simply coating the skin.
CONS: none
Lovely perfume by Lush. I like that they came out with a light moisturizer with virtually no scent. I expected it to smell like a tropical drink from a souther island by the ocean with palm trees. I was pleased that there was no scent. I actually mixed it with my Karma Kream to subdue the scent of Karma and make it more moisturizing which proved to be a winning combination for me. Also, this lotion is a great alternative to the overly sugar vanilla scent of Vanillary. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to use a more basic moisturizer, will repurchase again.
Happy Shopping!

This lotion is very light when you put it on, which is the only nice thing about it. It is completely unscented and did not live up to my smell expectations. On top of that, it only keeps my skin moisturized for a few hours. It left my skin so dry and itchy, and I now have fine bumps on my arms. I still love Lush products but this one was a total dud. Very disappointing product overall, and not worth the price tag. If you have sensitive or very dry skin, probably best to avoid this.
