I dont know why people keep saying this stuff smells bad! Its smell fantastic!!! I dont think its toooo overwhelming (I mean, whats the point of putting on scented lotion if no one is gonna smell it?) and it moisturizes pretty well.

This is a STRONG and POWDERY smell. I thought it might be similar to The Body Shop's "Love Etc." body butter since they are named similarly and the 2 companies seem to be copying each other lately with their product scents/names. This is nothing like Love Etc. My BF hated it on me (he generally hates any strong scents) and I scrubbed it off right away - only then, with just a hint remaining on my skin, was it alright. I gave this 2 lippies instead of 1, because I guess it's impressive how much of a punch this product packs for a body lotion.

I love bath and body works but not this lotion, the scent is SO STRONG!!! omg it's almost unbearable for me, it lasts on the skin forever even after washing my hands i could still smell it .. now don't get me wrong, it's a nice fragrance, very much on the floral side rather than sweet and fruity, but i'd just buy the fragrance spray if i wanted the scent, for a lotion i expected a slight fragrance that isn't too over powering while still deliver the moisturizing effects like a lotion's supposed to. this lotion has the same consistency and texture as the other signature body lotions from bath and body works, it's not super moisturizing but for normal skin it works fine. i bought this because i love the movie "p.s. i love you" but this lotion just adds TOO MUCH fragrance than what i prefer.

let me just say that this product might be great for other people, but not for me.

so i received the spray of this scent as a birthday gift. i smelled it, and boy did i hate it! it seriously reminds me of the scent of Play-Doh. Powdery and overwhelmingly floral. EHH. it's just soo so soooo stinky! and i really don't wanna smell like Play Doh.... soo this is a no for me.

I have a love/dislike relationship with this scent. There is something so absolutely perfect hiding in there just under the surface. I smell hints of it and I want more -- a deliciously smooth and creamy pretty peony/rose note.

But there is something in the initial scent of this... something in the top notes that I hate. It's scratchy, powdery, abrasive. I don't know how to describe it but it's what I dislike about this scent and I suspect it may be the ugly note that many others describe. I feel that if it weren't there, this scent would be way more successful. I apply this lotion sparingly and wait for the top notes to go away and then I quite enjoy the hints of lovely mid/base notes.

This scent is lovely and usually I like the Bath and Body works lotions. I have sensitive skin and I made the mistake of putting this lotion on an area that had a slight rash. It burned so bad that I had to wash it off. The perfume in the lotion irritates my skin too much. It's a same because the scent is really nice. Just too much perfume for me.

I bought this the other night as a pick me up retail therapy item....i LOVE it!! Its so romantic and girly and i think the name is so cute! lol...I love the artwork on the bottle....im strange like that though. =D

This stuff stinks!!!! For some reason it reminds me of a funeral home, I just cant get away from that association. Its very floral, but it is a sweet, musky , powdery floral. There are some notes in there that just dont mesh well together. This stuff is not light, I can always smell it on people from pretty far away, and its not a pleasant experience. The only other B&BW fragrance I've hated as badly is Cherry Blossom, but I'm pretty sure I would still wear CB before I would wear PSILY.

I'm a but hesitant to click yes on this product. Let's start with basics: the price was $12 for a 8 oz bottle. It's a pretty big bottle. It is pretty tall I've compared it to an aersol can, it is of the about size. Meaning their the same pretty much. Packaging? The packaging is cute. A very sweet looking package. It appears to have a melting heart on the front in pinkish purpulish tones. In a white coligraphy it reads "P.S I Love You" and underit states that it's a body cream. It's a bottle with a clear flip top. The back is words ingerediants and all that other stuff you would find on that typical lotion bottle. When it comes down to it out of 5 in packaging I'd give it a 4 I'm not "plain Jane" but in this case the phrase "less is more" applys. Not to much decoration, not to little. I give it points for giving the bottle a taste of simplicity which Bath & Body is really good at doing. Their packaging are always so suddel and light pastel colors. They never go to wild. And I've come to like this sense of style. The smell? It says that it is based on the fragrance of loved and being loved? Awh right? But uhm what if were allergic to this "love" ya know? Like everythings not always going to be awh love. No what if it gives me hives but beyond that rant the smell is... Clean. It smells and feels clean. Fresh out of the shower scent! And I know you guys always message me with "Dear BeautyRushBabe, why do you compare products to showers." well because that scent is fresh clean and it's not heavy. You don't want to be wearing a heavy scent. I find many that aren't fresh that I still adore though. Who do I suggest buy it? Uhm I think it's great for everyone. Smells and looks wonderful. My main base wouldn't be on many older women though. I see and smell this scent for teens. And daryl twentys. This scent isn't meant for all. It's very free and not very mature. So yes I love this product, everyone buy at lease a mini bottle

this is my new HG scent of the year. i cannot get enough of this smell. I can't name the notes of this fragrance, but I can describe it as very feminine, sexy, and sophisticated. It's sweet ans sultry with a little musk. I have purchased several of the body lotions as well as the wallflowers and hand cream. The lotion is just as any other BBW body lotion in consistency. I use this more so on my job. I keep on my desk at all times. I love this product and will continue to purchase it.

I love the lotion of this scent and I wish the body splash were as highly scented as the lotion...but I guess BBW wants you to buy the EDT instead. I was really "meh" about the scent when I first sniffed it, because I went in looking for Midnight Pomegranate items, that this particular store was out of at the time. I didn't understand why the store was covered in this new scent and didn't have what I wanted. Anyway, I went to a BBW a few weeks later to get some hand soap, and had the coupon so I tried this on while browsing around the store, and I found I really really liked it. I couldn't stop sniffing it. It's a sexy, womanly rose scent, without being too heavy. Somehow it's just right, but I can see how the depth of the scent (with notes like incense, amber, sandalwood, musk, patchouli, two types of roses, jasmine, lilies) can be off-putting to those who are used to either lighter, girlier or candy-fluffy scents. Don't get me wrong, I like those types of scents too, but this is something special, something perfume-worthy. This lotion is nicely moisturizing and generously scented without being greasy. I wish the body spray had its longevity of scent, but it doesn't...however you can reapply that. This smells great all day and it's really good for any season...not too heavy and good for everyday wear.
The notes are:
Fresh Citrus, Lychee, Peony, Yellow Rose, Sparkling Riesling; Scarlet Velvet Rose, Orchid, Purple Lilies, Jasmine, Hypnotic Incense; Creamy Sandalwood, Patchouli, Golden Amber, Musk."

I tried this lotion from a tester today and initially I liked the clean, powdery and almost toasted marshmallow note of this fragrance. It reminded me od a cleaner, more complex Pink Sugar which was a nice suprise since I normally find BBW scents WAY to strong and overpowering.
Fast forward 10 minutes and the scent turned noxious and toxicly cloying and sweet on me, while also being kind of musky and powdery. EW. It was as if a wanna-be marinating mobster's bottle of knock-off Drakar Noir had exploded all over my hands and sleeves and I could not get home soon enough to wash the scent off of my skin. It took 3 full-on lathered washes with my scented shower gel to kill the beast. This was BAD. I want to like BBW, but the only product I don't find too strong is the kitchen hand soap in "Herb Garden" scent which just smells light and grassy. However, the Herb Garden soap did not have enough power to wash off the stench of the P.S. ILY lotion, I had to switch to Dove shower gel.
PS I Hate This Scent. Stinky.

At first, a few months before ps ily came out we had a little edt sample in the back room, I didn't really like it much. Once we started carrying the little trial bottles and customers were trying it on constantly I kinda started liking it...a lot! I even ended up abusing my discount to buy everything in the line. Besides winter candy apple being my ultimate hg, ps ily is my fav fragrance-year round

I got the trial size of this one, and I'm not crazy about it. It smells much to floral for me, but this is just a personal preference. I will say that it's not so much an old lady, overwhelming type of floral. But I prefer lighter, fruity or clean scents, or else warm, vanilla-based scents. I'll finish up my travel sized bottle, but I wouldn't purchase a full size of anything in this scent.

This product smells awesome, it is a little shinny in texture too. I don't really like cream that are too dry, i like it to leave a little shine so this works for me. Looking for some girlie cream and that doesn't dry your skin? well try it out you wont be disappointed. I would definitely buy it again.

It is a bit strong and perfumey but would do great at special events or a date night. It's a nice feminine scent and fades a bit when wearing it so it's not too bad. Over all I think it's a lovely scent and do enjoy it.

Idk why but for some reason I expected something lighter then the actual scent. When I was in the store the SA had the lotion on and it smelt wonderful on her, it was light and girly. After purchasing and using several times on several different days...I smelt muskier then my g-ma. Not that it is a bad smell, it is just is totally not for me.

If you're familiar with VS Sexy Little Things, then you know that right out of the bottle it has a distinctive sharp-ish note that is somewhere between bitter and detergent. PS I Love You has the same note and I find them similar.

Something weird happens with my body chemistry though, and after it's been on my skin, I can't smell it. Sometimes I can smell it briefly when I've walked into a different room. My husband can smell it, just not me :(

If you like Sexy Little Things, Ooh La La, and others from the VS Prestige line, chances are you'll like this.
