All the brushes in this kit are useful and have really good quality. Only the blush brush is not as soft as it should be. It should be more fluffier for blush application, specially when applying highly pigmented blushes. Contour brush is my top favorite from this kit. The pouch is really useful with a magnetic lock system. You also get a free brush when you buy this kit from Sigma.

I bought the Nice in Pink Travel kit and got 2 free brushes along with it. Shipping was super quick as I got it in less than a week. The brushes are so soft to the touch and I have found myself using every single brush whereas before I did not have much brushes and just used my fingers. What a difference it really makes. These are all the brushes I'll ever need and I love that it is the travel kit as I am constantly on the move and need my makeup. For the amazing quality and number of brushes I received, the price is nothing to worry about

Mehhh....

I can't really pinpoint what I didn't like about this set, but I didn't feel like the brushes were the same quality as the full-size ones. The eyeshadow shader brush bristles felt much stiffer, the duo-fiber stippling brush bristles felt much looser. Go figure! I ended up swapping this away because I didn't use it as much as I thought I would.

I think they are getting discontinued soon - which is sad because I really like their travel kits. Overall, very good value for price.

This brush kit turned out better than I expected it to be. I believe Sigma has extended the length of the handles since it was introduced (for the face brushes at least if not the eye brushes as well). To me, the brushes don't even look travel-sized, although the heads of the F30 and the F50 are significantly smaller than their normal-sized counterparts (my sister got the full normal-sized kit). The F40 head is a little bit smaller. The F60 is basically the same, and all the heads of the eye brushes are the same size. I personally prefer the smaller handles - I find them less bulky and easier to use.

I love the travel pouch it comes in - it is convenient, pretty and wraps up nicely. The only thing is that the material of the pouch retains dirt/makeup particles very easily (even on the black colour you can notice!).

I chose it because I didn't own many brushes and I wanted a well rounded standard kit. I think this set has all the basic makeup brushes you need, bar maybe a buffer brush.

The brushes are very soft, so far none have bled, and I have only had minor shedding of some brushes (maybe 1 or 2 hairs off the face brushes).

I got this for Valentine's Day from my mom because I'm just starting out with makeup and this is the perfect brush set for beginners! I used it for the first time today and loved most of the brushes. I'm disappointed in the Duo Fibre brush because when I saw it, it was so thin and it shed so much! I was expecting better quality for that brush. The Powder Brush didn't really shed at all, just a hair or two. All the eye brushes are fantastical! I also relieved two FREE brushes! I got a Foundation and Blending brush. Anyways, I will not buy this again because I already have the set so no need to do that. I will be thinking of buying the Kabuki Brush and hopefully it won't shed. Eye brushes: Amazing quality, Face brushes: So-so quality

I got the Naughty in Black Travel Kit. I must say I am very please with all the brushes. They were all soft, and I didn't feel like they poked or scratched my skin at all like the drugstore brand did. Some kind of shed but I can deal with that. I love the brush clutch, it very soft and easy to wipe clean.
I would definitely order from Sigma again.
The shipping was quite fast too.

Overall, I like this kit. I think the brushes, while still travel friendly, are big enough so you don't sacrifice substance. The bristles are soft. I've had no problem in washing, although my angled brush/contour brush (the name escapes me at the moment) doesn't completely return to its original color.
I think this is a great option for traveling and would probably recommend it...BUT....

I was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that despite the "SIGMA USA" stamp on the front, the brushes are actually made in China. This fact is clearly meant to be hidden as no fill was added to the text, so if you're not looking, the black writing just blends into the back of the handle. Not that I have anything against Made in China/PRC products, but I do not appreciate the deceit of adding the USA to the front. Of course, this does not affect the quality of the products and I have nothing negative to say about them.

Perfect for travelling as advertised. Good for touch ups but not for initial m/u application as all brushes are too small IMHO. I have the Nice in Pink and I'm regularly using the face brushes. I think I would need the regular version brushes to appreciate more. :)

When i bought this i was new to make-up and thought this would be fine for everyday use. The brushes are really good quality, and there are brushes for every need. Beside they're great for traveling because of the cute little bag they come with. They barely shed, and are so soft! All in all, just really good quality brushes. I haven't tried MAC brushes though. If you're new to make-up this is the perfect starter bushkit, and later on you can just use it for a travling set, and because they're so tiny, they're great to carry in your make-up bag in your purse too!

I've been using my travel kit ( nice in pink) for a little over a week now, just about every day. I bought this kit because I figured it would be a good way to test out the quality of Sigma's brushes without footing the bill for the entire set and risking not liking it. Welllllll....as a previous reviewer mentioned, the eye brushes in this little kit are the best thing about the kit. They didn't shed or bleed (with the exception of one--the ss224, which has black bristles; my travel kit still has the old numbering system). The face brushes I didn't have too many problems with, except for the shedding of the powder brush (not excessive, but annoying enough), and the bleeding (MY GOD, did these brushes--black bristles only--bleeeeeeeeed!!!) I washed the brushes twice last night and I'm looking at the paper towel I have them all laid out on and under each black-bristled brush is a dried black spot on the paper towel...as if someone literally just poured dye there. SMH (shaking my head). I have very sensative skin, prone to break out. I definitely do NOT want to be putting dye on my skin. I'm very disappointed about this. I really wanted the whole professional kit because, honestly, nowadays, a single mother, underemployed can NOT afford the price of MAC anything! Soooo, back to the drawing board and my Eco Tools brushes from the drugstore (they're pretty good).

Suprisingly, I'm very happy with this brush set. The handles are longer than I expected, but shorter than the regular size ones, but a good medium, long enough for complete precision and control. The brushes, in my opinion, are much better quality than the mac holiday set brushes. And you also get more brushes for almost the same price, both sets are about $50. I'm very happy with this set, perfect for traveling. The quality of these brushes are not as good as the regular sized MAC brushes but much better than the holidays sets. I can't compare to the regsized sigma brushes as I don't have those, but I definitley reccommend this set over MAC holiday minibrush sets. Sigma also gave me two extra brushes not included in the set, so I'm also very happy about that. :)

After I saw the whole hype about Sigma on YT I was very excited about it. So I decided to order the Nice in Pink Travel Kit even though I have MAC Travel brushes. I honestly don't know what the people on YT are thinking. I don't really it. My brushes from MAC of the travel set is A LOT softer! If I were you I would save the money for the short handled limited edition brushes from MAC.

An overall good selection of brushes. I have never used makeup brushes before (I only had a big one for blush/powder) so I am really amazed with how my makeup looks like.

The brushes are nice, fine, the handle is long enough (although it's a a travel kit), the pouch is stylish with an inside pocket to keep makeup (very useful!).
It has all the face brushes I need (powder, angled blush - LOVE it, concealer, foundation and a duo-fiber as a bonus). I think i'll need to buy some more eye brushes, but overall I'm happy with the set.
It's perfect for BEGINNERS, like me!

Well, it sounds like I'm alone on this but, I really like this kit. My duo doesnt bleed, it has enough bristle and almost none of them shed. The only brush that has shed A LITTLE is the SS 150. Yes I know they changed the names I just dont know what the name of it is. These brushes are super soft and the eye brushes are fantastic. Same with the face ones except they are quite a bit smaller then they're larger versions. And I think they were worth every penny. (even though it didnt cost alot) :)

I bought this when they had a mothers day special, that came with the hollywood glamour kabuki brush, rhinestone mirror and a make up bag. THANK GOD I DID, or I would have kicked myself for buying it when it wasn't on a special deal. The eye brushes are the only good thing about this set. The powder brush sheds A LOT...I always have to pick it off my face. The stippling brush is not nearly as dense enough to give a decent air brushed look, I use it to apply mousse blush instead...but it also sheds. The angled contour brush has some shedding as well..the only decent face brush I got was the foundation brush that came with the pink set. Really this isn't worth the $50 it's priced at, you're better off buying the make up brush sets they sell at walmart.

I bought these brushes from Sigma's website and did a full face immediately after I got them. They did the job, however, I wish the powder brush held more powder. It doesn't distribute powder evenly enough for me to be satisfied. If I were going away for a weekend, I would NOT bring these. I'd rather bring my brush roll with my full sized makeup brushes instead.

i like my travel kit because it's not too big to lug around while traveling, but i think it would be more worth buying the complete brush set instead. i think it would be more worth it to buy 12 brushes and a brush roll and to travel with that instead. i prefer normal sized compared to travel sized brushes to apply makeup. don't get me wrong, the travel kit was awesome because i could fit my random jewelry and small e/s palettes inside the pocket and could zip it up, but i personally use the complete brush set with brush roll to travel.

i bought my travel kit and washed the brushes right away with warm water and johnson & johnson baby soap. it took the smell out right away.

girls, if your brushes bleed, you can contact shipping@sigmamakeup.com. you just have to return your brush and they will replace it for you. i think they reimburse for your shipping too.
