A really nice set of metallic, shimmery pastel shades.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it was an eye transformer, but it is definitely a unique set of shades.
The first shade in this quad is an eggshell white. The second is a sorbet orange. The third is a pale pink. The fourth is a lavender. All of these colors have a unique, beautiful metallic sparkly sheen in them that really impressed me.
The packaging on this product is so nice. It has a mirror, and a very nice applicator brush.

Love this product. Thought I was going to throw out some of my darker eyeshadows but I love what the transformer does for them!

I'm in love with this, and the idea of it!
These aren't meant to be used alone, they're meant to be layered with other eyeshadows, to create, or 'transform' those shadows into shimmery duochrome shadows! When using these over a dark eyeshadow, they really pop, and create such a gorgeous sheen. You can even mix these together, to create a gorgeous mix of colors. I just can't get enough of this! So glad I picked it up for an amazing $3!

I am giving this a whopping 5 lippies because it literally saved me from disaster.
Never never leave your makeup to the last minute when you have somewhere very important to be and need to impress people.
Never never try a brand new eyeshadow colour without testing it first or at least doing a practise run before the big event.
Getting ready for a Christening where I was going to be right up there at the front, Godmother no less! Skin looking perfect, only had the eyeshadow and mascara left to apply.
All over highlighter, great!
Smokey crease colour, DARK DEEP RED RED RED, I swear it was purple in the pan!!
No amount of blending will get rid of the red, panic sets in, I try everything, more highlighter, face powder.
Nothing will tone this Gothic Vampiric look down. NOT a good look for a Church!!
I am just about to wash it all off and start again, when I remember I had this transformer palette in my drawer.
Toned down the red to a dusky pink, gorgeous, even made my green eyes POP!
You may not change into a fancy car but you saved my life!!

3 bucks, on sale for 1.50! I don't use it as an eye product since I never wear dark eyeshadows. It makes a good highlighter, it's the only cheap shimmer product I know of WITHOUT (obvious) SPARKLES. I passionately hate sparkles. Staying power isn't amazing but whatever.

Just bought this stuff today, but I am already in LOVE!!!! I find if I use my finger to kind of pat the eyeshadow transformer over my original eyeshadow it works the best. I love it though!!! DEFINITELY worth the 3$ you spend!!!!!!!!

I really like this product the colours give a lovely sheen under eyeshadow that is noticeable but not OTT. I would definitely repurchase my favourite is the green I think it looks great under brown eyeshadow.

I wish there was a "hell no" repurchase button for this review...chalky, tons of fallout, it left me thinking transform what?! Nada...I tried to use it for highlighting the eyebrow area, within an hour it's was gone. This made me mad, usually studio products are good but this, this let me down

These shades are really pretty but I found that it doesn't really do much. It is very pigmented, however. At times, it can get powdery.

This is the first Eye Transformer e/s I've bought. It comes in 4 light, pastel-ish colors- green, yellow, pink/purple, and blue. The concept is you can layer this over any e/s and create a new look. You can also use it on its own for highlighting purposes. It IS a bit chalky, I do get a lot of fallout, even when I lightly dip my brush in the pan. I LOVE the green color. Put it against a dark shadow or liner, and it just makes everything pop. It turns ordinary black liner into a bright green liner with shimmer. It's truly beautiful and easy to use. However, that is the only color out of the 4 that I liked. The other ones don't seem to show up very much. You see a bit of difference or a hint of color, but nothing transforming. The beigeish color and the pink/purple one is a bit washed out, and even against a dark liner, I don't see a big difference. I mainly use the green one when I line my eyes, and I want to add some shimmery green to my look. I won't purchase again, but then again, it will probly take me a long time to use up.

If you want to quadruple your eyeshadow collection, this is the product for you. And you can do so for $3!!
This quad will transform any eyeshadow you have and make you look like you're wearing a different color every time. You can even use these shades as highlighters or mix them in with other beauty products to switch up the color. If you buy a lipstick shade that is a little off, mix a little powder with it and you'll actually be able to wear it.
I was quite impressed with the quality of the packaging too. Definitely a product I'd buy again!

Very versatile product. Not the greatest quality of pressed shadow, but keep in mind the very low price. 4 pearly irridescent shades for a maximum of $3...can be used in a variety of ways. Over dark creme or powders to make stunning jewel tones, or as a highlighter to add a mysterious look. Ive even dabbed the blue over a lip gloss for a funkier look.
I'm very pleased with it if I ever order from ELFs website again I wil repurchase for a backup and gifts for friends.

These are so cool ! Can use them for tons of things. Mix up a new shade of eyeshadow, or add a pop of color over a dark liner.Great as highlighters. You can even use them to mix up the shade of your lipstick or gloss. I own this one, the Trucco Angel face pallet, and the Smashbox eye illusion. I think it is way better then the Smashbox one at a way better price. I only like the Trucco one more because I think the colors over black liner are a smidge bit brighter and it also has one more color then the elf. I will still give this five lippies though because it is such a great deal and I love the packaging and the little brush it comes with.

This is a really neat product! In the pan, they look like nothing more than 4 barely distinguishable pale pastel shadows... but dust them over any eyeshadow and the existing shade becomes a beautiful, shimmery duochrome! I've tried each over many different shades of eyeshadow and the result each time has been beautiful. Not only is this product effective and extremely versatile, it's also DIRT CHEAP! At first, I didn't think I'd have much use for this but I'm very glad I bought it!

ok the reason for my rating 4 stars
I feel it is an amazing product considering the price and quality you are getting..it totally worth the money
when I first saw it on website I thought it looks like NARS packaging.. yes it looks like NARS but if you see it outside you can tell from first glance that they are different apart from design
I applied it on my teal eyeshadow and it gives me really nice subtle green sheen and it is great as highlight and used the peachy one for my cheek highlight it worked great
but the reason why I stopped using after first try is the burning sensation on the eye lids where I applied this.. (I wonder if others also feel it)... my eyes felt so uncomfortable and it was a bit swollen and red
luckily it wasn't that serious but the pain last for 2 weeks
it was a shame that I have reaction to it given it is such a wonderful product
I am thinking of giving it to my sister

You really can turn a dull color (e.g. a matte color) into something spectular with this. Just apply it over. I took a Sally Girl Matte shadow, it was in that glowing green.. Then I put the light green almost translucent shimmery stuff over it and it made it look like something that would come from an Urban Decay deluxe palette, seriously!
UPDATE: I love this stuff! I am going to order a few more just to have on hand lol. I got them for $1.50..... with STUDIOSAVE coupon code.

These are a dupe for a trucco product that does the same thing except these are sooo cheap !! they work just the same!! Good quality for the very very small amount of money you are spending. Highly recommended. Turn an everyday color into a head turner :-)

I bought this product back in August and was so excited when I got it. Who doesn't love duochrome shadows, right? And with this you can turn any eyeshadow into a duochrome! But for whatever reason this ended up in the recesses of my makeup drawers and hardly got use. I would take it out, swatch it, admire the colors, and then put it back in the drawer to use another day. But recently I've rediscovered this and it has become a staple product!
I know the directions and reviews say to use this over black or other dark shadows/liners, but this works amazingly over other colors as well. 95% of the time I wear eyeshadow, it's all or mostly neutrals. But I can use a fluffy shadow brush to dust one of the shades (pink is a fave but green or gold also work nicely) over my shadows to give them a lovely sheen and punch up the color with the slight duochrome effect. You can control how much of the duochrome you get with these depending on how you apply them. A fluffier brush will give a less intense duochrome, if you use a denser brush or a flat brush to sort of pat on the color, it will give a more intense duochrome.
These also make great brow highlights, and if you really want to be adventurous, try dusting a little bit of the green over a blemish before you put on concealer or foundation. The sheer green shimmer diffuses the redness and allows the blemish to be easily covered. I think these could also make nice correctors for undereye circles or other skin issues, but it's best to use them UNDER your foundation because of the shimmer.
Overall, for $3, this is an amazingly versatile product and worth having in your stash even if you use it only occasionally.
