I had been using a Pantene shampoo even though I was told not to on my thick, course, dry and wavy hair. I have highlites and I blow dry everyday so my hair was starting to look dull and it wouldn't hold any style. So I tried this shampoo along with my Redken Smooth Down conditioner (I don't like Redken shampoos, kind of drying) and I love my hair now. I have control over my hair without it being overly weighed down. I can actually style my hair with a hot iron and the style stays. Also, I have shine now and let split ends. I may even be able to grow my hair out this fall. I will repurchase.

Amazing results. I've been using suave strawberry shampoo (since MUA'ers said it delivered despite being dirt cheap). I was under the impression that if I had a really good conditioner (in this case, TiGi oatmeal and honey) it would balance out even if the shampoo was a little drying. Wrong answer. I read an article saying shampoo is what you splurge on, not conditioner. A poor shampoo strips your hair, a cheap conditioner will not. And my hair had been looking really really dry and breaking so easily. I have long hair, normally it's very silky and fine, but it has been looking awful, and for some reason it took me forever to realize that I needed to just pitch the suave. OK on to the review! I used this shampoo yesterday morning, tied my hair back wet (a crime, I know, but I have to have my hair in a bun for work), let it down when I got home and it was still damp so i clipped it back. I didn't really get a good look at it til this morning. Didn't expect to see results overnight but WOW. I was so amazed, my hair is totally shiny and bouncy, it looks really healthy. Far healthier than it has looked in months. And it doesn't feel dry and fragile anymore, it's so soft.. This is it for me as far as shampoo is concerned, HG status. I don't think I'll ever even try another shampoo, my hair looks so good. Once I use up the TiGi conditioner I want to buy the conditioner that goes w/this shampoo, I'm curious to see if it will work even better in conjunction with it.
