This is the 2nd Essie polish I've tried and based on my experience both times, I won't be repurchasing from this brand again.

The colour is a pinky coral that I thought would be nice for the warmer weather. But I find the Essie formula to be very watery, to the point that the polish seems to pool more at my cuticles and not spread well with the brush. I have only used this on my toes but the application just was not very good. While I'll make an effort to use this up over time, I would not repurchase again and, like I said, won't buy any more polishes from Essie since both this one and Secret Story were both disappointing.

Beautiful raspberry, coral pink. I prefer this color on shorter nails. Gorgeous on my toes. Nc42 for reference. 2 coats was all I needed. 1 coat would've been fine with a base coat.

This is a gorgeous pink polish, but it's not at all what I expected! I love coral and peachy-pink colors, so when I saw swatches of this polish I ordered it right away. When it arrived I was actually quite confused - my bottle is much more hot pink/fuchsia than all of the pictures I've seen. Could just be my bottle, but I was slightly disappointed. Either way, this is a very pretty bright pink that could be worn in the spring or summer.

Cute as a Button is a pretty warm/strawberryish/raspberryish color, maybe I would consider it a coral if I didn't own Essies California Coral and Canyon Coral.........compared to both Cute really seems more of a warm sherbert like pink...........but I don't know I guess it can be a coral for some people, it can pass. I can only wear this polish during the summer when I am tan, otherwise I am way too fair to pull this one off any other time of the year. It's a nice color but I don't care for it much personally, I also think it's not as shiny as I would like it to be. Cute is definately a polish for warm toned ladies out there it's the perfect pink!

Cute As A Button is one of my all time favourite Essie shades! The colour is unique - it's a pink/orange/red and looks like a different shade depending on what kind of lighting I am under. It is very bright and perfect for summer. Formula is great (sometimes Essie is hit or miss in terms of formula but this is a definite HIT) and I get perfect coverage in 2 coats. I start to get some small chips after about 4 days of wear. Absolutely love this polish I always get complements when I wear it. I'd 100% repurchase again.

I love this shade, it is a very warm pink with a touch of coral. The polish is pretty much perfectly opaque after one coat, it is very smooth and dries in a decent amount of time. A no fuss pretty summery shade, love it.

The swatches f this nailpolish online looked so beautiful and being a lover of coral this was one of the 1st essie nailpolishes I ever bought. However, I was disappointed though...it seemed more like a fuschia-like pink more than a nice coral :(

This is my absolute favorite color. It's is a super cute peachy pinky coral color. Aside from the amazing color, it is very long lasting. I have minimal chipping after several days (I also used China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat and No Chip Top Coat, which I also love). 3 coats gives a very pretty color, anything less is a bit uneven and streaky looking. Despite this, it is the perfect polish in my opinion. This is the main color I'm planning for my wedding, so it will be perfect on the nails of my bridesmaids!

This has to be one of my favorite polishes. I love the creamy formula; you can get nearly opaque coverage with one coat. Even with no base or topcoat, the finish is glossy and pretty resilient. Also, as its name states, this color really is cute as a button. Sort of a hot-pink leaning coral - perfect for summer. In my opinion, it's a really cute color for a pedicure.

Well, let's just say it was my mistake to buy Essie's Cute As A Button (CAAB) when I already had Sally Hansen's Peachy Breeze ( they are identical!!! My pic above shows SH Peachy Breeze on index finger) picking this color just summarizes "I like the looks of this feminine coral/pink combo". : ) Sure! But I guess next time I will just carry my swatch wheels in my bag so I don't buy the same shade again. hehehe

Anyways got CAAB it at Walmart for about $8, cheap or expensive is relative to one's ambitions I guess. : ) In my hometown in Canada Essie from Walmart is cheaper than OPI and more expensive than China Glaze, and even more expensive than the new Color Show by Maybelline.

I love Essie brand anyways, I think the bottle is so adorable, and the formula and application work for me: two coats and it's opaque. Cute As A Button is lovely color that I would wear anytime: summer or winter.

I probably wouldn't buy it again because I have several of other nail polishes and I like changing colors once or twice a week. But if you are contemplating Cute As A Button you should know you will love the color on your nails for sure. : )

Cute As A Button is an unassuming shade in the bottle, but every single time I wear this, I fall in love all over again. On my light, yellow-toned skin, this shows up as a warm pinky coral. It's several shades brighter on the nail than in the bottle and is most close to the third picture above. I love the finish, somewhere in between a cream and a jelly. Cute As A Button (at least my bottle) is definitely a good Essie polish. Two coats is absolute perfection! Love this shade and can't wait to wear it more this spring/summer.

As all the other reviewers I love this color get compliments from the nail technicians when they do my mani and pedi. Great for spring or summer. It's like a peachy pink not over the top but not a boring tone color. Def a HG@@@@ :D

It's nice. I like it, I don't love it. It comes out much more fiery reddish with a bit of orange than the pictures up above or what it looks like in the bottle.

This is really a lovely pick-me up colour! Warm, clear pinkish coral, very strong colour. Goes very well with my warm skin tone. Great for spring/summer. With OPI Start-to-finish as base coat, 2 coats of polish and Seche Vite top coat the manicure lasted a week without chipping and without being especially careful.

Beautiful color! I also really like the brush, its the perfect size and shape. However, like all other Essie polishes I own this started chipping after a day. I have to reapply everyday. Not a bad product, but I had expected more from it.

Edit: If I use two really thin coats and no top coat they last a week on the nail. I still take one lippie off because I find it a bit hard to apply without streaking.
