I actually like this scent a lot! If Cotton actually had a smell to it I think this is how it would really smell! It doesn't smell like a linen air freshener or any type of room spray, The scent is powerful but after a while it dulls down It has a light and airy type smell it's slightly powdery. The scent reminds me of being caught in a breeze that went through clothes drying outside on a line. I like it and it smells good on me,(But how fragrances smells do vary from person-to-person with their body chemistry and make up) I say that this fragrance is worth a try if you don't like how it smells on you can always use it on your clothes or the sheets so the smell will smell exactly the same as it did in the bottle!

I get this body mist from a promotion of Buy 2 get 1 free. I haven't been able finish a bottle yet. It goes very very long time. I use it for garnets, for the room, for me :) It's cheap and I can renew it again and again. It's staying power quite great for a body mist.

This is lovely for summer use. I have the body spray and lotion. Just as a hand lotion, it's very scented and lingers for hours! It's lovely and makes me feel like I'm wearing a white linen dress just off the clothesline. I've never had an eau de toilette from Bath and Body Works last as long as this lotion. It's just lovely.

Sea Island Cottton smells very clean. Hm..It's easy to describe other scents but it's so hard to describe this one. hm...I guess you can say it smells like detergent but it's more soft and nicer than that. :) It's not floral nor is it fruity. The lasting power is pretty poor which is upsetting sometimes. Maybe I'll buy the lotion next time to layer the scent.

Thankfully I only bought this one in the mini version. I thought I would really like this one, and I really did like this one at the store, but the more I smell it the more I hate it, I don't know what it is. Some days I love it, some days I hate it. It's strange. But like the title suggests, it smells like cotton, laundry, and like a field. It was strong notes of something salty, probably the reference to the "sea" aspect. However I do own this in the body lotion and body cream. I will use it up but I will not repurchase. I LOVED THIS SMELL IN THE STORE BUT I DON'T LIKE IT ANYMORE. It's a weird one.

I still have a mostly full bottle of this stuff. I really like the scent, quite refreshing. My only issue is that it doesn't linger, this is a problem for me with most fragrances from BBW. I doubt I'll repurchase.

I have the Sea Island Cotton hand soap & sanitizer and I really enjoy them so when I was looking around for a new spray, I figured i'd give this one a try. I honestly do not like it at all. I don't think it smells anything like the other products with this fragrance and it kind of just smells like perfume after you've worn it for a while. It's certainly not something that I would wear and i'm pretty disappointed in BB&W, haha.

I bought this expecting the smell of laundry fresh from the dryer, but it doesn't really smell like that at all. The day that I bought it, I was smelling alot of other fragrances in the store too, and I think after a while everything started to smell the same. I didn't really get the true smell of it until I got home. After wearing it a couple times it started to remind me of a cheap Calgon spray I had in high school.
What I like about it is that the smell does last a long time, some B&BW scents in the fragrance mist version fade very quickly. It's not a terrible smell, but I didn't like it on me. I returned it.
