I really want to love the Buxom Insider Eyeliner. I really, really, really do.
I initially got the Pearl colored one because I wanted to try the white eyeliner--and it was awesome. It stays for 8+ hours. It does lose a little bit of its coloring after a while, but it's still pretty solid and doesn't get all over my face after a day at work.

So I was excited. I was like AWW YEAH, dis here is my new jam. GOODBYE CLINIQUE. (Did I mention I have sensitive eyes that hate everything except Clinique and Physician's Formula? Because I do, and finding something that didn't instantly upset them was AWESOME.)

Keeping that in mind, I needed to satisfy my lust for the best eyeliner. So I decided to get the Chocolate Citrine, just to prove this was the real deal all day erry day.

It goes on easy--check.
It has a strong color--check.
Fallout? YUP.

Wait, what? The first time I applied this on my water line and upper lid, there was some very visible fallout. There were very small particles under my eye. I shrugged. I figured, maybe I applied that too hard.

So I tried again the next day. SAME THING. I applied it gently (honestly, you don't need much pressure to apply this stuff--it is like buttah, y'all).

I was really, really disappointed. Even after trying to sharpen, I'd lose giant chunks in the sharpener. I wish it were possible to give two different reviews for different colors, because my Pearl one is still party rockin', but the Chocolate Citrine was a disappointment.

The quest goes on, but for my white eyeliner, I've at least found that.

I'm on my 3rd one of these in black jasper. I'd about given up on lining my waterline and tight lining. Everything seemed to fade within an hour or 2. I tried the UD 24/7 eyeliner and that didn't last either. This is fantastic! I like the twist up tube and the fact that its thin and easily glides on with no tugging. Black jasper is almost black but not so dark as to look severe. $14 at Sephora and totally worth it.

I, like the packaging on here. A mirror silver with 3d blackwriting. I got the color Jasper in a Sephora sampler. It is a dark bluish grey. It is soft and good for slight color on your water longer but it doesn't have the best starting power

I received this as part of $10 black friday set that came with the liner in Chocolate Citrine and Buxom Lash. I intended to give it to my mother but ended up taking it back because of the texture. The texture is soft and creamy and pigmented and especially perfect for tightlining the bottom rims of your eyes. I only wish I had gotten this in onyx cuz when I do tightline, I go for the blackest I can find. The texture of this pencil exceeds that of Mac Powerpoints

I have really sensitive skin/eyes, and between this, UD's 24/7 liner, and Tarte's EmphasEYES High Def pencil this one doesn't destroy the delicate skin on my lids or tug. It does have staying problems, but I've generally avoided those by brushing a light neutral shadow above my lids and right below my waterline to prevent smudging and/or fading. You'll need a really light touch for applying this eyeliner, as it goes on really really smooth (almost TOO smooth).

I purchased this in both Onyx and Amethyst. Onyx had good pigment for me, but as for Amethyst the pigmentation is totally gone after a few hours of wear.

Although I am returning the two that I just received, I would only re-purchase this item if I didn't need a waterproof eyeliner. I think these glide on very smoothly, and are pigmented. I don't use eyeliner on my waterline, so I cannot comment on that, but I think the staying power of this eyeliner would not last 8 hours or more. Other than that, a good eyeliner. I got this in Topaz, which I think is a warm chestnut brown. Nice shade and not too strong of a brown. The other color I got was sapphire, which I felt was too bright for my eye area.

I bought this in Amythest to use specifically on the lower inside rim of my eye. Like other posters, I thought that since it is called "Inside Liner", it would have tons of pigment and staying power. Well, the pigment was horrible, you almost couldn't tell it was purple! I went back to my cheapie Almay liner which has beautiful color and staying power! It went back to Sephora and I must say, they are really good about refunds and exchanges.

I got this in "Pearl" to use on my waterline. Absolutely terrible. It did not stay on at all, not even for five minutes, and actually got into my eyes and irritated them. Really disappointed and will definitely not buy again.

My friend told me that this eyeliner was excellent for lining the waterline and it worked well for her but not at all for me. It is not at all long-lasting, smears and slides after a couple of hours. One good use I did find for it was lining my upper eyelid (regularly, not tight-lining), and it did last a long time without smearing. I still use it for that purpose but I wish it did what it's supposed to do better.

I bought this product in the black shade, thinking, "Wow, it's specifically for my waterline! It MUST have staying power!" WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. The color did go on smoothly, and very dark, but about 30 minutes later, it was evvvvvvvverywhere! I ended up looking like some gothic teenager. I was so incredibly disappointed.

I bought this liner in "Pearl" white. I've been looking for a good white liner to use on my inner rim and was excited by how softly and easily it went on. Well, less than 30 minutes after applying it, the color was gone! Considering that it's called Insider Liner I thought it would stay on my inner rims, but nope! I was very disappointed.

Product is absolutely amazing. I bought this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I was given compliments many times over for the liner staying in place all day long. You wont be sorry, it is such a great product. Gives your eyes a well defined look. Cannot rave this product enough. Only con, I finished mine is 3 months.

I do like the BE lashliner better, but for those who have had the problem with this eyeliner migrating like I did, try it with the Prime Time eyelid primer. This eyeliner will now stay on all day (over 12 hours) without so much as a smudge. It doesn't irritate my overly sensitive eyes and it is quicker to apply and more natural looking than the lash liner.

I have this in black, tried it on the inner rim and yikes! RACOON EYES! Seriously, as far as migration goes this may just be the worst eyeliner ever. Might try it along the lashline, but I have buxom lashliners for that job. I highly recommend them (I have suede and leatherette). If I hadn't got the insider liner for free it would be going back to Sephora for sure.

I have this in black, taking it back though. NOT happy with this at all. I used it for the waterline and find it too greasy and not long lasting for that area. Compares to the Chanel in quality but almost half the price. MUFE Aqua Eyes is so much better, as is the UD 24/7.

I got this in Sapphire. I like it, but I did take a lippie off because you must be very light handed with this product or you get too much!! It's very pigmented, and you don't want a thick goopey looking line inside! I find I must get it right in one swipe or it's too thick. It is nice and soft, no tugging forsure.
It lasts pretty well and the color is pretty. I wouldn't use it for a liner outside the rim, although I think you can. I just think it might be too soft and smudgy for outside application.

I got this in black and I'm very happy with it. I usually use Kohl liner to line my inner eyes, and it fades very fast. This stuff goes on smoothly and LASTS a lot longer! I love it. I want to try more colors!

This is a review for the SAPPHIRE color. I love the color of this liner. It is a cross between teal and navy. It is so chic and makes brown eyes pop. My only gripe is that it doesn't seem to last long, but I didn't use primer, so maybe that would make a difference. The color alone will keep me coming back. I'll just have to experiment with it's staying power.
