I love this stuff! it separates my lashes! makes them beautifully long and gives great volume! it is super water proof! i can go all day without it getting under my eyes(my problem with most mascaras) and its cheap!
My only problem is the giant bottle it comes in! but other than that in love with this!

It was dried out and it didn't even work for me. )):

Lousy. Does not lengthen my lashes or do much of anything else for them unless you want to count straightening!

Doesn't hold a curl, isn't waterproof, isn't volumizing, and it clumps. It did add length so I guess it wasn't all bad. The amount of product is very small, around as much as a typical sample size. Not that I mind, because I'm looking forward to when this is used up and I can purchase a different mascara.

This beats all the high-euro mascaras that I've ever tried so far <3 It's not clumpy, separates lashes very well, I find it more lengthening than volumizing which I prefer (my dark eyelashes already have volume and length in it) the price is student-friendly. And it performs as good as the mineral infused mascara. Love the fact that it's waterproof. Repurchase? BIG YES <3

I work in a grooming salon, with that being said I NEED waterproof! With all the dogs shaking I'll get a dose of water hitting me in the face about once a day if I'm lucky. This ELF mascara is my work mascara. I put it on, and it doesn't come off unless it's wet AND I rub at it. In other words, I'm good till I get home and actually intentionally wash my face.
On the other hand it doesn't turn my lashes into something you'd see in a mascara commercial. It tints them and extends them a little. Not nearly as much as others I've worn (like ELFs Lash extending studio mascara) but for the price, and what I need it to do; it is my choice. I would think if you're going to a pool party, or the beach investing in a tube of this isn't a bad idea.
Also I'd like to note the handle is really long, and the well is really short. Huh? But there seems to be ALOT of mascara in that well, and the long handle gives you better control but it did take some getting used to for me.

NOT a fan! I bought this on a trip since I had lost my mascara, and it's awful! Don't like the packaging, the handle is long and kind of awkward. It took FOREVER to dry, and every time I would blink for about 15 minutes after applying, my top eyelashes would stick to the bottom..not so much fun. It's also not at all waterproof like others said, and would kind flake off throughout the day (but of course was very difficult to get off entirely that night). I would not recommend this at all, and just ended up throwing out the whole thing!

I am a fan of this mascara for vacation! I took my tube on my cruise and loved it. It was exactly what I needed, I was able to put it on in the morning: swimming, sunscreen, beach, humidity and all day wear, and it was still in place when i washed it off in the shower. I did deduct a star because as with all waterproof mascara, it shreds when washing it off getting in my eyes, but i have to say it was a lot easier to remove than other higher priced/dept store waterproof mascaras i've tried. All in all i'm a happy customer & will buy again when the need arises.

I truly wish I could like this - such a great price. There are some great E.L.F. products out there - unfortunately this isn't one of them. The formula is dry, dry, dry and at the end of the day what you have left are crumbly bits that are either extremely difficult to remove, even with an oil based eye makeup remover or have flaked off onto your cheeks and eyelids. Horrible stuff!

Somewhat clumpy application.
Not waterproof at all. Dunked my head once in the pool today and eyes were ringed with mascara flakes.

I picked this up at Target a couple of weeks ago for $3.00. It applied nicely and held up well through the days normal activities;however today I wore it to the beach for about 2/12hours. It is NOT waterproof! I only went under the water maybe 5or 6 times. I rubbed my eyes each time I came out of the water and each time I had black flakes of mascara on my fingers. When I returned to the car and looked in the mirror there we flakes of mascara all over my eye area and not a drop left on my lashes. If you're looking for a sweatproof mascara this could work well but as far as a poolside/beach mascara, this is a miss.

Super disappointed in this mascara. It clumps, flakes, and isn't in the least waterproof. Tossed it after 3 attempts to use it.

I am truly surprised by all the negative reviews of this mascara! I really really like it! It is waterproof (haven't had any issues with that), and I have never had a clumping experience with it. It goes on nicely, doesn't flake, has a nice true black color, and does seem to lengthen/volumize (without going overboard). It's great for every day, especially given that the price is.. what, $3? I mean really, you can't beat that. I like it as a basic mascara with above average lengthening and volumizing qualities. Really great.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Red, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
This is actually a really good everyday mascara, I like it. But one lippie off for the lengthening and volumising bit, it doesn't do a whole lot of that. It also doesn't clump or flake, looks quite nice on. Another lippie off for the waterproof bit. I don't know if I simply got a dud, but this stuff doesn't come off with oil and it DOES come off with water. Very strange.

I don't have high demands on what I'm looking for in a mascara, that being said, I've paid more for inferior products.
The wand is excellent. It does a great job of separating my lashes. The formula is little dry, and it makes it just a little hard to apply extra coats, but not impossible, and it doesn't take forever either cause it dries so quickly.
It hasn't smudged on me, it's cheap, the packaging is good. Definitely worth the $3 gamble.

I thought this mascara was pretty good. You just have to be sparing with it or the lashes will stick together, so just one or two coats. Then again I don't exactly want my mascara to look too heavy either! The main downside is that the brush is so freaking huge. It is a good, basic mascara. I like it way better than Great Lash and it's half as expensive.

This mascara is horrible. It makes all my lashes stick together and is very clumpy. it does not make my lashes longer either at all.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I thought this mascara might not be very good, but i was pleasantly surprised! The formula seems good, and the application from the brush is good too.. does not clump my lashes. The mascara stays on really well, and when i take it off, it doesnt smear everywhere like other mascaras tend to do. I also like how the excess mascara is taken off the wand but the neck of the pot.
The biggest downside is the size of the lid/wand, in relation to the size of the pot that has the mascara in. The lid is far too long, a bit cumbersome, and the wand is massive in relation to the pot... so i dont think there is much mascara in there.... i think your paying more for the packaging!
I have clicked 'yes' to buying it again... only if the pot is made bigger, the lid made shorter, and there is more mascara in the pot for your money... i dont mind paying extra for it!

This mascara doesn't clump and the waterproof version stood up to my watery eyes and didn't smear or come off. What it didn't really do is lengthen or volumize all that well. It's good if you like the natural look. I had to apply 4 coats in order to get this mascara to make my lashes look decent. I'm saving it for weekends when I'm bumming around because it's not bad enough to toss out.

I like this mascara. My biggest concern was that it seems like very little product comes in the tube, but after checking the actual weight of the product (7g/.24oz) it turned out to be comparable to most other mascaras (the Almay triple effects has .27oz and my Avon washoff waterproof has 6g/.21oz). The formula is kinda on the dry side though so it may dry out quickly. I have only been using it for a couple weeks and I will update my review later.
I haven't noticed any flakes or smudging, but I haven't tested the waterproof quality. I did wear it to the gym without any smudging.
It darkens my lashes, and thickens and lengthens moderately. It gives a very natural look and does not clump. I like the shape of the wand. It allows me to get all my lashes and the bottom lashes as well.
