I love this. I went in looking for just pure vitamin E oil for a scar from my knee surgery but only came across this. One day I broke out and thought of putting a decent amount on each one of my zits and it works amazing on not only the irritation but the swelling and make them go away shortly after. My new secret and you know it works because you feel it getting itchy, like healing.

I used this as a daily moisturizer in place of my face cream all winter and I have loved the results! My skin tone looks more even and the texture has become more smooth. I get dry skin in the winter with flaking around my nose and forehead, but this winter has been flake free! It doesn't cause me to break out and has even helped with my acne scars. I double it up as a eye make up remover as well.
One of the best purchases I have ever made! One bottle lasts a very very long time, and to make it even better, it only costs as much as a cup of coffee! Instead of buying face moisturizers and face creams from department stores, I would definitely give this product a try first. :)

This is a very good, very simple moisturizer. I used to spend a lot of money on night creams that never seemed to do anything. This was around $3 and it is perfect--sure, it takes time to absorb into the skin, but it's an oil, so that is expected. It leaves my skin very supple and soft in the morning. It's only been a week so I can't tell how it will benefit me in the long run, but as of now, it's worth it since it hasn't broken me out, it's very affordable, and it is doing it's job as a moisturizer.

I purchased vitamin e oil after I got a pretty nasty gash in my ankle and it left an even nastier scar. A plastic surgeon actually recommended vitamin e oil over the mederma brand scar cream. Every morning and night I would apply a light coat of of the vitamin e on the scar and I can drastically see a difference. Within a week of using the oil you will see a huge difference and continual use will only make the scar improve. If you have stretch marks I would deffinetley recommend you picking this up and giving it a try. And another bonus it's dirt cheap!

A fantastic all-natural face and hair serum for $5. It's a nice lightweight blend of soy, coconut oil and vitamin E so it's not thick and sticky like the vitamin E oils I've used in the past. I put a couple of drops on my face after a shower or before bed and a nickel sized amount through the ends of my hair after washing. It sinks right in and leaves my skin and hair soft, smooth and shiny - without looking greasy! I can even use it in the summer and it doesn't feel greasy. My skin looks more even toned and my pores look tighter, too. I also love mixing a couple of drops with a dollop of body lotion for a silky finish on my legs after I shave. Trader Joe's has amazing, budget-friendly natural beauty products!

As someone with very dry skin and eczema, I'm always on the hunt for moisturizing products. This Vitamin E oil inexpensive and works well when my hands are extra dry. I use it alone, or mixed with a lighter lotion for extra moisture. I also put the oil on the ends of my hair when they look a little dry. Great product for a great price.

Used it on my face and it was very moisturizing. I only used a few drops because it was oil and it was good enough for the whole face. I tried to put on it 30 min before putting on make up and it blended with my concealer pretty well. Good to use it when weather goes really dry in winter.

Tried this product under my eyes and woke up with the skin under my eyes looking very dry. Don't know if its this particular brand of vitamin e oil, but this product made my fine lines look worse. Now it's just sitting in my medicine cabinet.

Generally I do not write reviews unless I feel very strongly about a certain product. I bought this product on a whim while I was grocery shopping. I am 21, and I've suffered from regular and hormonal acne ever since I was 10. During the past 2 years, my skin finally looked like it was about to settle down, until the last month when I was changing up my birth control and geographically moving around a lot. My skin was hideous - I was breaking out in literally every inch of my face, acne ranging from tiny, annoying, itchy whiteheads to large painful cysts. My skin was constantly red, and the foundation that I used to conceal did not do my skin any more good. All the salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide that I was using was seriously drying my skin, and not clearing up anything (Proactiv sucks btw). So I actually bought this to moisturize my skin, rather than heal my acne.

Lo and behold, literally after only two days of use before bed, my skin was starting to look normal again! Now it's been only five days, and my skin looks radiant - my acne scars are close to nonexistent, the acne has stopped, and the redness is very evidently reduced. I cannot believe a $4 product has outperformed and outsmarted all the expensive products that I've used on my face to date. I truly, truly, truly believe in this product, and I really encourage everyone with any type of skin to try it! It'll only do your skin good - trust me! <3

this does AMAZING things for fine lines!
my skin is veerryy acne-prone. i used to use a lot of chemical ointments to dry out my acne which, in turn, dried out my skin (and i have oily skin). because my skin was so dry, i could see premature fine lines appearing on my forehead and around my mouth.
i began using trader joe's vitamin e oil about 3 weeks ago, and it has made such a difference already! the lines on my forehead are pretty much gone and the lines around my mouth have faded dramatically! i also used the oil in place of an eye cream and noticed that my undereye circles have brightened up. the outer corners of my eyes, which looked dry and strained, have smoothed over!
for my application, i usually just squeeze out a nickel-sized amount onto my 3 middle fingers, rub my fingers together, and pat my fingers on the affected area. once the product is distributed, i GENTLY rub in the oil in circular motions.
ive also used this as a makeup remover (i usually use olive oil, but i was running out and i wanted to save some for cooking teehee) and it works pretty well too. if you're wearing heavier, long-wear makeup (revlon colorstay, cream shadows, water-proof mascara) you may need to go over 2 or 3 times until all the make up is gone. but for light, everyday makeup, it works like a charm!
the only real downside to this product (and my reason for taking a lippie off its 5-lippie performance) is that it broke me out a little. since using the oil, my skin has formed a few new bumps here and there. i suppose my skin is reacting to the coconut oil in the formula.
because this is an oil, keep in mind that it leaves a thin film that is... well... oily. the residue left stains on my pillow but it's washable. now i dont use a pillow anymore lol (the residue prevents me from using it as a body moisturizer- i dont want it on my clothes!) this can also feel a little heavy on the skin, but i got used to it after a while.
since this did break me out, i now keep the oil away from the acne on my chin and cheeks. i'll also try to use this sparingly to avoid constant breakouts. maybe once a week as an intensive treatment, to give my skin that kick of moisture.
overall, i REALLY RECOMMEND this product for mature, aging skin. this is a wrinkle-eraser!!! and for $3.99, you got nothing to lose!
but if youre younger (mid-20's and below) and acne-prone as i am, then you may want to wait for this until your acne calms down.

This stuff is amazing! I use it for everything. I've been shopping at Trader Joe's for years and never thought to buy this oil until I was at a friend's pool party one day and got covered in these huge red swollen bug bites. I told my friend about it and she suggested vitamin E oil as a good way to heal the bug bites. So I thought why not and tried it. Not only did it help heal the bites, it also helped heal some scratches I had going down the back of my legs. I accidentally discovered this as I would apply a lot to the bites and some would end up running down my legs. Over time I noticed the marks on my legs fading and now there completely gone!

I bought this after buying a branded tub of natural hair butter for $18 and checking out the simple ingredients I discovered it would be far cheaper for me to make it myself. It contains vitamin E oil, soybean oil and coconut oil so seeing as Trader Joes had all three in one bottle I bought this instead of wasting money buying them separately.
I was surprised to see that it has no scent, which is great. I also bought a 4oz bottle of liquid lanolin to see what it would do and mixed 2 drops of each and put it on my face at night. I have very dry skin. When I woke up my skin felt amazingly soft. In the morning after washing my face I changed the application to one drop of lanolin and 2 of vitamin E oil and it didn't moisturize as well. I'll be using the half/half mixture on skin for a week to see how it goes and will be using the vitamin E mix to mix with my home-made hair butter.

3 WEEK UPDATE
I can't use this on my skin. For some reason it sits on top of my skin and underneath my skin feels parched dry. My skin prefers water based products. On the other hand I do use this in my shea butter/olive oil/castor oil hair mix as a preservative but even then just a small amount. If I didn't need a preservative I wouldn't use it at all.

This is a great product that's really helping me get through the winter. I've had ridiculously dry hands since October, so after washing my hands and before bed I always add a few drops of this to my moisturizer and smooth it over my hands and cuticles. It moisturizes like nothing else and really helps seal in moisture. I find this absolutely wonderful on nails and cuticles, and after shaving I mix this with 100% Aloe Vera Gel (also Trader Joe's brand, I believe) and apply it to sensitive skin. For my face, however, I prefer to use jojoba oil either by itself at night, or a few drops mixed in with my moisturizer.

Another great Trader Joe's product. I use this oil from time to time for the following for my lips, eyes, or will richly massage all over my skin before bed if I want extra hydration and healing while I sleep. It is too rich to use nightly, but when I do use it, my skin doesnt break out and it leaves my face very soft in the morning. I also like to use this after doing a chemical peel, it helps to heal and repair the new skin that is emerging. Also works good on hands and cuticles. Highly recommended for the value and quality of the oil. Most are very expensive for a small vial in other natural shops.

Cheap and effective. I'm on Tazorac and get dry and flakey at times and this oil does not make me break out, absorbs into the skin very well and leaves my face smooth and soft. I also work with my hands and they tend to get very dry and my skin around my nails tends to get frayed. I use this as a face oil, allover skin moisturizer, acne scar reducer, cuticle oil etc.

Has simple but effectiver ingredients.

Soybean Oil, Vitamin E and coconut oil. no other additives. I'm really trying to get away from chemicals in my products. Most creams for the face have harsh and estrogen producing compunds that in the long run cause more harm than good. I also found that by being careful with ingredients that my hormonal acne is finally under control and my face is even colored and calm.

Love this oil!!

I apply this all over my body, not only it works great as moisturizer but it's been helping with discoloration I have on my legs. It's been also helping and preventing eczema breakouts I get around my nose due to allergies. I was using Bio Oil to moisturize but since this one is cheaper, I prefer the Vitamin E Oil which has less scent.

I started off using this solely as cuticle oil for both my hands and feet, and now I use it as an overall body moisturizer. It's dirt cheap, so I can.

I also use it on the dry sections of my face, as I use Obagi and Retin-A which can be drying.

This also works great to dab under your nose if you've been blowing your nose a lot from a cold or allergies.

Love this stuff. Cheap, versatile, and easy to find. I use it as a face and body moisturizer, and also in baths sometimes (with sea salt and essential oil). Also makes a good carrier for essential oil. Gotta love TJ's! EDIT: I recently rediscovered this oil after running out of my normal face oil. I bought a new bottle and have been using it consistently in the evenings after washing my face (and sometimes in the mornings if my skin is extra dry). I am amazed with the results so far. My acne scars and wrinkles have noticably diminished, and my skin is much softer and smoother. I didn't realize there was also coconut oil in this blend which I'm guessing makes a huge difference. Unfortunately I do notice some blackheads on my nose esp. so I can only use it daily on the driest parts of my face (undereyes and forehead). Combination skin sucks :(
