If I had to pick a signature fragrance (which for me would be hard) it would be this. I have owned 2 bottles of this and I will keep buying it, even if I have to pay a crazy amount of money on ebay or a discontinued perfume site, I just have to have this. It is not something I wear everyday. This is special... Something I wear only when I am going to want to feel very sexy and sensual and definitely in the company of my sweetheart, not something I wear out to dinner with my parents. I first started wearing this before it was discontinued, in about 2003. It quickly became a scent that was unique to me and still to this day I have not smelled it on anyone else. I have the shower gel and lotion as well and I don't use them at all, they don;t really smell the same way as the perfume. I could go on and on about this perfume as I love it more than any other fragrance, but being as there are some mixed reviews here I think that this fragrance just happens to suit me well as some frangrances smell different on each person.

It is creamy-fresh, clean and slightly spicy like people say, and it is nice like that. But it is strongly similar to my cheap dish-washing detergent...I don't want to smell like clean dishes.

I think I nearly cried when I found out this was discontinued. Sure it may not be as big a seller as sex in a bottle Issey Pour Homme but I love the sweet smell of Issey Light and how good it lasted throughout the day.

This was my signature fragrance and I was lucky to get the last bottle in Myer. Very rare to find now which sure as hell sucks!! :(

In my humble opinion, this is the best fragrance I've ever smelled. There are many perfumes and EDT's I *like*, but most of the time I either find them too common (i.o. every woman owns a bottle of it), or not interesting enough (and for the price of a high-end fragrance, it should be able to please me for at least as long as the bottle lasts!).
I've never smelled the regular Le Feu and I think I don't need to, because I'm not into really strong fragrances. Le Feu d'Issey Light is just totally right the way it is! It's an amazingly pleasant, comforting yet seductive and sensual fragrance. I'm not very good at describing fragrances and cannot detect the different layers. I can only say that this smells devine and I feel very lucky to have found an exemplar, since it seems to be discontued (why?!).
EDIT: I still like it and use it, but I sometimes think it's a little too overly sweet. I also smell this hint of cinnamon, which I don't particularly like. Not the best scent I ever smelled any more, still a great, unique scent.

This is the only fragrance out of the many that I own that I actually gone thru a bottle of & immediately repurchased. Btw I believe it is discontinued :( I agree with all the previous reviews. Definitely very unique. It's sexy yet playful & fresh at the same time. Very feminine but does not come across as overly girly...there's a unique oriental bouquet, with a mix of milky musk & woodsy notes. I'm saving it for special occasions cuz I don't know if I can get a hold of another one if it runs out!

This is in my Top 3!! A very unusual scent: woody, spicy, ambery but soft. I totally agree with aileendq and jessied007. This perfume is sexy with an edge. I'm glad that I don't smell it on many people. This is not my day-to-day fragrance but it goes with almost everything in my wardrobe...from distressed jeans to a classy little black dress. It's more suitable for evenings or in the cooler weather. This is a somewhat mature scent in my opinion. I'm now 25 and have been wearing this for 3 years.

My first bottle was actually a refill. There were two refill bottles in a pack. My friend and I wanted to try new fragrance so we split the cost and each of us owned one. That came down to approx. $25 CAD per refill bottle.

I hope it's not and won't be discontinued because I plan on repurchasing and repurchasing!

A modernized oriental perfume. Very unique, not the average easy appealing scent you expected from department store perfume. It's not that "light" and airy. In fact, it smells like sweet incense. This scent is young, spicy, milky, and the dry-drown is very sexy.

My oh my!!! To me that's like the sexiest men's fragrance of all! Mmmmm cant have enough of it, smelling it on my hb :-) It's so different from classical men fragrances, has no tabac smell in it. It's super pricey but oh worth every penny. It lasts morning to night and needs only tiny squirts. I'M LOVIN' IT! The Light version is all the regular one but improved since the smell is not so striking at the beginning.
Secret: sometimes I wear it too! :-)

This is the only perfume I use recently. It is not very ''Light'' to me, it is just ''Right''.

This goes very well with casual look, feminine look, boyish look....any look actually.

This is one my favs, if nothing else because it's SO unique! I wear it when I'm having a "I have an attitude" day! It's peppery and fresh and clean all at once. Even though I don't wear it every day, I LOVE looking at that Christmas ornament-gone-wrong bottle and thinking about how rebellious it looks up against all the other feminine, pretty bottles. It sums up my mood (when I reach for it) perfectly!

I got this at the Barcelona airport and will always associate it with Spain. It kinda smells like Spain actually. Love the smell, absolutely love, it's citrusy and warm, sexy, clean and unique. It smells like the sun, if that makes sense. I just wish it was in a perfume form so that it would last longer!

love this scent, it's very avant garde... not for the faint-hearted, it's my dance to the beat of a different drum scent. like all fragrances you need to have the right body chemistry to make this scent work. i find it very unique, bold, mysterious and mesmorizing. i love this and gucci rush, and eclat d'arpege for when i am in a light clean scent mood. i whip this out for fall and rock it... it doesn't get a lot of hype like angel or prada but the few who wear it know that it is the best kept secret in scents. let's keep it this way.

LOVE this scent, but only gave this four lippies b/c the staying power SUCKS. i mean, truly. let me give you an example: i sprayed 5 spritzes on my neck and chest before i went out for dinner 5:30ish. around 8:30ish (when we left) i couldnt smell anything anymore. NOTHING!!! and it's not like my nose had become too used to it; my DH couldn't smell it anymore, either!!! ANYWAY....this DOES smell amazing, which is why i bought it even though the spritz i sprayed on my arm was a bit faded by the time i finished shopping at Ulta. i'll probably end up buying this again, since i'll have to be spraying it on so frequently!! i'm thinking of buying the lotion so that i can layer it....also, perhaps it will last better if i spray my clothes? the packaging is pretty annoying too; although it's cute, the giant glass ball is not too practical, imo...and takes up more space than it needs to!! also, i can't see inside; i wish i could see how much fluid is in there, so that i know when it's time to pick up some more!! LOL.

I must be missing the boat on this one.... I ordered some samples off eBay after reading all the reviews on the Issey Miyake perfume line. This stuff STINKS. I mean REALLY BAD. It's obnoxious and heavy (even the night fragrance) and is downright nauseating. I can't believe how many good reviews this product line has received!! Totally blows me away.

I know that fragrance is a totally subjective experience, but let me just say that this is one of my ALL-TIME faves. I don't know if it's because I'm a fire sign myself, or I just like sexy scents, but this sure hits the spot. Not too overbearing (like the original can be), and a nice blend of masculine & feminine qualities. UPDATE: I wore this so often, that I could no longer smell it. So sad, because it was my signature scent. But I truly love the memory of it!

i simply love this fragrance, it's so milky and warm. it's great in the winter with a cashmere sweater:) my only complaint is that it has poor lasting power: it's gone in a few hours.
