So I'm going to go ahead and give this a review after having this perfume for over a year and a half. First of all it has rarely been used due to the strong floral factor that I wish was toned down. Every once in a while I say to myself ooh let me try wearing it today-but it falls short. Ok and also I can't get over the name. This fragrance is just the opposite of what my vision of Hollywood is. This fragrance is safe, delicate, floral(strong on the gardenia) and a bit conservative. Hollywood is seductive, sexy, alluring and dangerous I can't even wear this on a night out in Hollywood it's a mere day scent with no dimension in my opinion. It also fades incredibly fast. I just think it could've been a bit more alluring- it's just lacking. But it's a good floral for those that prefer them. Me? I don't wanna smell like a bouquet. I love the bottle though and I'm keeping it as decor. Staying power=no good Overall scent is good for casual daytime wear.

My favorite scent! I bought two bottles with a coupon and got a great deal. This scent is so light, like a flowery, blossomy, springtime scent. I don't get a fruity smell from it at all. The "sparkling" version isn't much different at all, and it's a little cheaper. There's nothing heavy or overpowering about it, and it doesn't have that burning alcohol-like scent I get with many other perfumes. Light and flowery - great for spring and summer, but it's refreshing in the colder months. I won't use anything else!

I really like this - It smells kind of like Jennifer Aniston's scent, but with a dash of fruit. It doesn't seem to last very long, so get a small bottle that you can keep in your purse to reapply throughout the day

I managed to get a 50ml bottle for only 20 pounds instead of the usual 50. Smells nice when first sprayed but unfortunatly only lasts about an hour on my skin so I donīt think I would buy it again as I like a perfume to last for at least 6 hours. I ended up giving this to my sister.

I actually got this as a sample at Sephora, never bought the whole thing. I got the opportunity to wear it once- sadly, the night after I used it, the tiny spring on my spritzer decided to break on me, so the lid fell off, spilling a tiny yet strong smelling amount of expensive liquid all over the bottom of my perfume stand. So for packaging (on the sample), I'll give this a 1. The real bottle, I'm sure, is much better. I do like the scent itself, it is similar to Gold. Sorta a white gardenia type of feel, but this one has a bit more floral scents mixed in. It is a very young, refreshing, yet sophisticated scent, and I do like it a lot. It's not exactly my favorite, which is why it didn't get 5 stars. It is not extremely expensive, so if I ever do buy the full size bottle, my wallet won't murder me in my sleep.

It is aimed for young people. This smells like MICHEAL just not as intense.I smell traces of bergamot, gardenia and mandarin. The bottle is too square. I have the 3.4 oz bottle. I think the could have done better with the designs. The top is atrocious. A rectangular cap??? It keeps coming off when I used to put it in my purse. I would have changed the whole design. What were they thinking.

I picked this up without having smelled it, and luckily, it was a bargain purchase. I am not a gardenia, delicate floral type of girl. Fortunately, my mother is, and she adores it. Therefore, my opinion: if you want something with an attitude, a statement or some mystery, look else wear. If you just need a pleasant scent, that your boyfriend's mom will like, pick it up, on sale.

For some reason, all of Michael Kor's perfumes smell vaguely similiar on my skin. They all start out with a very synthetic, aquatic smelling base.
After about 15 minutes of marinating on my skin, Very Hollywood turns into a cool, modern and very light gardenia with just a hint of raspberry. The other notes never really develop on my skin.
The sillage on my skin is non-existant. This scent also does not last on the skin very long at all.
I own Fairy Dust as well (it has many similiar notes), and on my skin Fairy Dust has much better sillage and lasts much longer. Though, I do think Very Hollywood is a more sophisicated gardenia.
Overall, I like this one, it's okay, nothing too spectacular on my skin. I wouldn't repurchase it.

I have a rollerball of this perfume and it's so cute! I love the little gems hanging from the lid! I love the smell of this perfume. It's not too strong but just strong enough that i get compliments every time I wear it! A little pricey but smells great!<3

I stumbled on gift set at Ross's with shower gel, lotion and edt for $24.99 so even though I never smelled it, I decided to give it a go. I am rather pleased with this scent-I think you have to like gardenia and white florals in order to appreciate this scent. It starts out with a sweet fruit note then transforms itself into creamy gardenia scent with a prominent fruit note(rasberry). I can actually smell rasberries all throughout(not too much though)and it gives this scent that extra something that makes it special in my eyes. It reminds me of Marc Jacobs gardenia scent except MJ has this aquatic note, instead of fruit.
Very Hollywood is very light, fresh, sweet smelling white floral. It smells "young" to me and I can picture younger girls wearing this. I think its quite lovely.
I can see comparisons to KK but KK is rather linear and smells like straight up gardenia and VH is much sweeter so its really not the same scent. Neither is Very Hollywood is the same as MK as MK is very deep and intense with hint of incense, and its very "grown up" whether VH is young and playful. Neither do I see huge reseblence to Tease because Tease has that white sand note on the drydown which smells very musky amd VH stays fruty until the end. I think that all the fragrances fall in the same "category" as VH because these are all white florals but they don't smell the same as VH.
Bottle is quite pretty but I don't think there is anything "Hollywood" about it because to my nose sweet clean and fresh scent, not really glamorous or sophisticated. Lasting power wasn't that good on me, even layered with lotion, I barely get 2 hours out of this. Oh, well...for the price, I really can't complain

I bought a 1oz bottle of this on clearance at Target for about $20.00- retails for $45.00. Contains notes of: Mandarin, iced bergamot, wet jasmine, ylang-ylang, raspberry, gardenia, orris, creamy amber, soft white moss and vetiver. When I first use this it has a very bright slightly fuirty (mandarin/raspberry) with a heavy does of gardenia and jasmine. After 30 minutes it dries down to a nice soft creamy gardenia and jasmine with a touch of soft woods. I has average lasting power on me- about 4-5 hours. If you like Kai, Jennifer Anniston, Kim Kardashian's first fragrance, or Michael Kors
(I belive it just called Michael Kors?) you should give this a go.

I loved this perfume immediately!!! BFF bought my the roller ball/ lip gloss last year and I wore it out. So, DH just bought me a bottle for x-mas. I'm one of these people who can't wear certain fragrances in every season. But this one is great for me year-round!!
It's a fun fragrance. Very feminine and flirty. I get compliments on it all the time.
I agree that the staying power is not as great as other fragrances, but it's not terrible. And I did not find it to be very expensive, either. The bottle is so pretty. Looks great in my collection.

Well technically I have not bought this product yet, but I have been using the sample size one and have been seriously debating on buying it.
A couple years ago I really like Michael Kors Bermuda -- a limited edition scent. I eagerly bought it and returned it soon after because it just didn't last. I feel like this one lasts much longer, and I really like the scent. It isn't overpowering, but it also makes its presence known when you are wearing it (in a good way). I am a huge fan of Michael Kors so I was definitely rooting for this one, and I feel like this one definitely works

Meh..It's ok. Nothing spectacular. It's just a light floral with powdery undertones. It reminds me of an old Avon classic like Candid or Timeless. I rarely reach for it unless I convince myself to start using some of the barely touched fragrances in my collection that I've spent money on. The lasting power sucks! Cute bottle though.

"Very Hollywood", what a ridiculous name for a perfume. That being said, it's quite pleasant. It's very feminine and floral, ever so slightly sweet without being sickly. I wouldn't repurchase though, it's not really me.

I first got a whiff of this product from a card in an Ulta catalog. I immediately liked it... so much that I went out an bought the rollerball. It smells soooo good! Like other reviewers said, the scent doesn't last very long.

I have this in a sample size, and I really do like it. Very Hollywood is pleasant, does not induce headaches or sneezing. It's beautiful, but not something I would spend money on...it's generic, and does sometimes smell a bit cheap, which is odd to me. Overall, a very nice perfume, but not perfect.

I wish I'd read the reviews here before I purchased this. I actually love the scent - it's sweetly floral, reminding me predominately of gardenia. The bottle is super cute as well. The biggest issue is that it literally has zero staying power. I spray it heavily and within an hour it's gone. Really, really disappointing. I will definitely not buy again.
