I think I must write a positive review for this fragrance. Howerver, I dont know what the notes, the type of fragrance; warm? floral? fruity? ...hence cannot describe the smell for you guys like an expert. Seem like many ones here don't prefer it to the classical Lolita one...what a pity, cause its very special and different for me...
Really, this is a 'love at 1st sight' for me. Before that, I had a few vials of other brands, and my auntie is a 'before 2005-perfume collector'. So I had chances to try many famous brands, yet nothing impressed me. Therefore I'd never a fan of perfume rarely using them, until I found Si lolita, my obsession!! Well, Lolita brand was launched in 2009, not a long history so I dont think many people know them. Oneday a sale assistant at a clothing store even asked a dummy like me, what perfume I was using and she wanna buy it right away!!
So satisfied I once tried out mini size of Lolita lempicka, the most famous and typical of them, however, it disappointed me, well, that another story...

This is a wonderful scent, I absolutely love it. It's very different than LL's other fragrances, it's much more spicy & earthy. The best way I can describe the scent is that if you layered Max Mara over Magie Noire(the old version), you'd get Si Lolita. Lovely, lovely scent :D

Well, this is quite different from the other girly/ dreamy Lolitas, has it's own personality.
At first I get lots of aromatic pink pepper, feels invigorating. Later it develops a soapy herbal quality and overall, there's not much sweetness going on.
Projection is soft but has good longevity

I like this, and didn't expect to. It starts off strong and floral, like walking into a room full of well-kempt old ladies. BUT, it settles down into something subtle and interesting, with a sharp, woody note that tempers the initial floral attack. It's sweet, and not particularly sophisticated, but I would wear it to a picnic on a summer afternoon. It may have headache-causing potential to those who are sensitive.

Oh I like this nostalgic fragrance. I bought it totally untested because it was on sale for under $25 and I generally like LL scents. This just doesn't smell like anything else in the lineup though.
This is like a gentle, toned down, version of the old fashioned woody orientals of the past. This is somewhere between pearls-with-a-sweater and a mohair vest. It has a strange almost unisex quality which the packaging belies, and a bit of surprising peppery note. Then it gets some soft breezy musk and incense notes after a while, which makes it very pretty. The dry down is definitely something you end up wanting to get up close to the skin to smell.

I tested this recently. Darling bottle and very pretty fragrance! It starts off a bit strong/old lady BUT settles into a sweet, powdery and soft yet sexy smellt. I will buy a bottle once I run out of my D&G Feminine...

I was looking for a fragrance that was half sweet and half spice. This is it! It does open up smelling strongly of men's cologne, but within half an hour or so the amber and spice transform into something beautiful, sexy and sweet. The bottle is stunning and the little polka dot scarf is so cute!
But definitely check it out in the perfume. The toilette has absolutely no staying power.

Sometimes you find a fragrance that isn’t that well-received, but is, in your opinion, just indisputable lovely. Si Lolita is one such fragrance for me. I really like translucent, sweet orientals, and this is just that – uplifting, spicy, bubbly and amiable. On me, it’s predominantly sugar syrup, tobacco, cranberry and pepper, and these meld together to give a playful Coca Cola accord. On my friend, Cathy, it’s even better – creamy, poetic and soft. It really suits her. It has a warm heart.
Try this if you like: Origins Ginger Essence, Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Marc Jacobs Bang.

love this. gorgeous pink peppercorn/bergamot opening and spicey amber tonka d/d. I dislike all the other LL's I have tried so I bought this on a MUA rec and am not sorry. It has great staying power and good sillage. I will buy again if I can get it. Pretty bottle too.
Adding, those of you who use the term 'old lady' in a perjorative way
Are being insulting and agist. This old lady could give you a run for your money any time!!!

I love the peppercorn I just love how it manages to combines freshness and spicyness so well it is lovely not common.
but I feel the spirit and the minds behind this, it is no tacky celebrity perfume I t actually has thought on it.
I really dont care much for bottles but this one I dont specially like I hate the little fabric that hangs from the cap!!
but it is lovely!!!

Well I got this at tj maxx for twenty bucks. The scent is a strong woody spicy scent and is much more of a winter scent. It's strong but then fades and the smell gets more sweet as it fades. It's ok . Not for everyday use in my opinion. I'm glad I got it for price I did.

This smells so delightful on my skin. It's spicy, sweet, and delicious . . . smells somewhat like gingerbread on me. This fragrance would suit a young woman, although it makes me feel young when I wear it. The bottle is definitely adorable and looks cute on my dresser. I purchased Si Lolita for $14.99 at Perfume Gallery because they are closing their store.

I'll start with the positive. This is one of the most adorable perfume bottles I've ever seen. It is just gorgeous. Don't be fooled into believing this exquisitely feminine bottle houses girly juice. It does not. The initial blast is straight up pepper, the type of pepper I keep on my breakfast table. It is extremely off-putting, and this is coming from a girl who likes spice in her fragrance. Then, it starts to smell like my house does after I cook a delicious meal, the house has not yet properly aired, and the smell is still hanging there. Finally, in the dry down, it does become bearable. However, it is neither feminine or alluring. I imagine that a man could wear this very, very well, but this woman does not want to smell like a man. I gave it two stars only because I do think this would be a nice men's cologne, if you could find a man secure enough in his masculinity to overlook the frilly bottle. I have several open-minded men in my life, and even they would feel silly removing this from their shaving kit.

This is my least favourite of the LL perfume collection..I bought it on offer at Asda for £10, it was packaged in a security box and therefore I had to buy it unsniffed. Not too keen on the opening, it smells sour... It dries down nicely but I have to say I don't ever wear it, I prefer L and the first fragrance to wear.

I received this as a sample. I'm quite surprised by the reviews...everyone loves this perfume on me and I know they arent just being nice because they volunteer the compliments and ask about it all the time.
I love this smell!
its very smooth. not too strong. nice peppercorn touch to it...but its not a peppercorn smell. it just smells sweet with a hint of spice.
when i first smelt this in Sephoras hand out brochure i was like UCK! What the...?! whats this odd smell.
BUT then i kept going back to make sense of it and fell in love. ordered a sample off ebay and LOVE IT.
so i think many of these poor reviews are because they smelt it once and just went WTF, and never gave the poor baby a chance to be their perfume soulmate <3

*Very* peppery in the opening. Makes things interesting. I bought it for my mom, she loves it. It's spicy, and the amber and tonka bean in the base are nice. The bottle is cute, too.

it was like a snappy burst of pepper with a sassy attitude. It definitely has an interesting masculine vibe to it...it's a spicy/peppery/slightly soapy/interesting fragrance...one minute I think it is too masculine for me and the next I'm being drawn in by it's intriguing uniqueness. I don't like soapy fragrances, but I like this one. I don't like overly masculine fragrances, but I like this one. It has me vexed by the dry down that I also find airy, if you can imagine pepper being airy?......If you like spicy different fragrances, you need to try this one.

Smells wonderful in the bottle, not so much on my skin. Spritzed onto a card or in the air, the spicy pink peppercorn notes are just heavenly, so I couldn't wait to try this perfume. On my skin, the spice wears down almost immediately and leaves a MUCH sweeter, almost cloying scent. Within an hour the scent was so sweet that I found myself trying to scrub it off my skin with a Lysol wipe at the office! I'm disappointed since I really had high hopes for this fragrance--but happily, I ordered a sample off eBay, so at least I didn't waste money on a full bottle. I seriously recommend testing this one out first: it will not smell the same on your skin as you expect. Too sweet, makes me smell like an old lady, but if you like the scent, it's got amazing staying power. I've tried all morning and I can't get rid of it lingering on my skin.

Tried this one out today, and I can still smell it on my arm. This is similar to the Forbidden Flower and original LL scents, but spicier and stronger.
Notes: Pink Peppercorns, Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Wallflower, Sweat Pea, Heliotrope, Elemi Gum, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Amber.
I decided not to get this one, but I may try it when I run out of my Forbidden Flower, and use it when the weather gets colder. I imagine the spicy, warm floral would be nice for winter.
As always, comes in a beautiful bottle. Slightly easier to spray than the apple-shaped bottles, which I like.

I had really high hopes for this one since I had read a few very nice reviews... but it was not to be. I bought it for about $20 at TJMaxx... and sprayed it on soon after... YUCK!! It came out a very very strong heavy and sweet floral with just a hint of pink pepper. And it only got more powdery and flowery as time wore on. It was quite strong and not subtle at all... I could even smell it faintly the next morning on my arm. So I returned it today.
