This primer is awful. I'm pretty sure that mine was used in the store by someone, even though it was in the packaging. Besides that, it makes your eyelashes totally white, which is NOT attractive. It is sooooooooo hard to cover up all of that white with mascara, especially since the formula is so wet. If it was clear, that would be a different story. This is going back to Sephora. What a waste of my $20!

I Love this Primer! I find it amazing as long as you apply a very thin coat of it on your lashes... and very quickly after apply your mascara! You have to make sure your mascara is very black and not grey tinge... a way you can do this is either to put some on a white surface and put a very very black paint next to it and a grey tinged black paint next to it and see what one it is more similar to! Or if it has a name make sure it is called something like blackest black or jet black not black/brown... It tends to work better with either UD products or high end products... no Miss Sporty or Ulta... I love it and really need to purchase another soon since i am running out!

I'm on my third tube of this primer and still really like it. It makes my lashes look like fake ones, but not too over the top. I usually only apply one coat of the primer and then immediately apply mascara afterwards; I've found this method to bring the best results. If I wait to apply my mascara I find my lashes tend to clump. If I apply more than one coat of primer, I find it harder to hide the whiteness of the primer on my lashes. The one issue I have with this product is that a lot of primer tends to come out on the brush when I pull it out of the tube; you have to make sure you scrape the excess product off of the brush before applying it to your lashes, or your lashes will stick together and appear clumpy. Otherwise, I think this lash primer is great and will likely continue to buy it. I've also used Clinique, Lancome, and MAC's lash primers and like the UD one much better, as it actually makes a significant difference in the appearance of my lashes.

I find that this works best when I don't wait too long between applying the primer and then applying mascara. I have never had a problem with the white showing through. It adds extra volume and fullness to my regular mascara. I have used it with a variety of mascaras and found it to work best with high end mascaras (BeneFit Bad Gal, Clinique, Estee Lauder) as opposed to CoverGirl, Ulta, etc. I think that probably says more about the mascara quality than the primer though.

I love this primer! It makes my lashes look 100% better. My only issue with all mascara primers is that they don't make them in black--only white so you have to add mascara on those days you don't really need it.

Very clumpy, and the white color is hard to completely cover with mascara over top. If it were more transparent, it would not be as bad.

Dried out my eyelashes with no added volume or length. Worst primer ever!

At first, I didn't like this product at all, because I would apply the primer and immediately apply mascara causing a huge clumpy mess. The trick is to apply a coat of it, wait at least 30-45 seconds and then on to the mascara. Unfortunately, I have used other mascara's in the past that give me the same result by themselves then with the primer addition. Overall, it's an alright make up product, but I wouldn't purchase it again.

I tried multiple times to get this product to work and always ended up with the same disappointing results of clumpy and stuppy lashes. I finally gave up and just tossed out this product.

took a few times (and advice from a helpful fellow user) to get the hang of this- i find it works best when i lightly apply 2 coats wait about 30 secs then apply my mascara. applying too many coats will lead to white lashes. Even though Ive found out how to use it I still am returning it because I find that a few coats of my current mascara gives the same full long lash look as with the primer+mascara.

Let me start off by saying that I got this in the primer potion kit when it was on sale at UD's website.

Dude, why... would anyone like this? Did I just have a bad experience? I mean, this stuff isn't horrible, but... ugh. I've tried this with both Prestige My Biggest Lashes and Revlon Grow Luscious. It takes "ages" with both mascaras to cover up the white primer. It makes removal ten times longer. It doesn't make my lashes look better, just a little bit worse. I would rather wear mascara alone since it looks way better.

I love this primer! Its the only one I've ever used, but it works
It gives length and a little volume. I have no trouble covering the white with my mascara. It doesn't flake, smudge, and does everything it claims

A little goes a long way, it feels a little heavy, even with just one coat. But I haven't had problems with it uncurling my lashes. I actually feel that my lashes hold a curl longer because of this primer.

It is definitely a great product.

I use urban decay because it is certified 100% cruelty free. But if I had a choice mascara wise I wouldn't. I bought this along with the supercurl mascara. Basically I think there are better primer potions and mascaras. This primer I'm neither impressed nor disappointed with. It does a decent job at what it promises but it is not the most impressive primer. I also feel it flakes a bit during the day and end up in my eye. Fortunately the formula does not irritate my eyes. I'll buy it again but that is because there is no other 100% cruelty free alternative.

This is pretty much my first eyelash primer I've tried, besides the double extend part of the L'Oreal and I like it. I think it works great and really have no complaints other than it's a little on the expensive side. I think I'm going to try the Clinique Last Building Serum next as the reviews were somewhat higher. I received this in a kit and I would buy this again, but would like to try a few more first. Overall good product.

I really like this primer. I use it with me Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara and get great results. My lashes are naturally long and if I wear mascara without the primer I get mascara marks on my eyeshadow after a few hours. Love this stuff! I just make sure I don't put on extra thick or on the very base of my lashes so that I don't have any issues with covering up the white.

Love this stuff! I got this in a set, I had never tried it before. It makes my lashes look great. It adds volume and length for me. Yes, it's white, but I have tried four different mascaras over it and have had no problem with the white showing through. I also have no problem with it taking out the curl. I'm really happy with it, and prefer it by a mile over the one from Clinique. Will definitely repurchase this. I can't see any reason to keep looking for an eyelash primer after finding this gem.

I really wished this primer would work, but it didn't. I'm a huge fan of Shiseido eyelash primer - and I love the fact that it is colorless. Not the case with UD's. It is white - and I found it's hard to cover them all. I also didn't find any difference with this on or off. While with Shiseido's, I definitely see the difference. My otherwise long straight lashes were able to hold its curl and no smudges at all (I have oily skin). Back to the store it goes. :(
