I bought the fragrance free version of this lip balm (second picture -- thanks blushingpale!) and absolutely love it. Already went back and bought another one for when I run out! It is the perfect lip balm. I used to have chronic chapped, peeling lips and nothing helped, until I found this. It says on the package "100% Food Grade Ingredients."

The value of this lip balm is amazing. I only paid $1 for it at Dollarama. The ingredients are all natural. And I love that it has the shape of a lipstick. It leaves my lips soft and glossy. I'm not a huge fan of the lemon verbana flavour but I will definitely repurchase in other scents/flavours.

This is the best lip balm I've used by far, even better than Burt's Bees. I put it on at night and in the morning when I wake up my lips are so smooth! Unlike other lip balms where you had to re-apply every hour, this really sinks into the lips and moisturizes very well. A definite repurchase...when on sale.

This is a great lip balm. I found it on sale for about $3 CAN at Shoppers Drug Mart and had to try it. It goes on super smooth and moisturises your lips with 100% food grade ingredients which is always a reassuring thing when something is going so close to your mouth. I really like the chunky lipstick tube design ( easier to find amongst a messy bag ) and the simple white design is visually appealing. I bought this unscented because the only other option was bergamot and I had no idea as to the scent of that, though apparently it's citrus-y, so I wouldn't be opposed to trying it in the future.
PROS - lipstick case design, smooth, moisturising, natural
CONS - a little pricey.

I have the citrus one, the scent isn’t overpowering which I like. Normally I don’t reach for citrus scents because it reminds me of dish soap. It goes on super silky smooth, literally glides over my lips. I like that its 100% food grade ingredients, which means it won’t cause harm if you send up swallowing a bit of it. I always wonder why people would something on their lips if there are chemicals, preservatives and other stuff. i.e. many lip sticks and lip glosses. There’s a high chance it’ll get in your mouth and into your system. I don’t really like the packaging, it’s a tad too chunky, but I guess it’s cute that it looks like lipstick. It’s really just a personal preference type of thing.
All in all great lip balm, moisturizes well, glides on smooth, nice scent and has natural ingredients.

So, I got this lip balm in guava because I wanted something natural and I also got it because a lot of people on Youtube were raving about the original one. So I got this in the beginning of the month- and I ran out of it about 2 days ago. So, I went to Walgreens and got the original (not natural or pure) vanilla and strawberry ones because they have SPF and I wanted something to protect my lips. WOW- I love the Pure one so much better! The original makes my lips tingle and actually make my lips feel like they prune after a while. So, I am definitly going back to get the Pure. So anyways, on to the review about the Pure lip balm in Guava- So my lips do not tingle with this and it doesnt not taste artificial at all. I would say the only negatives are that the lip balm is small so it doesn't cover as much lip as a ChapStick. But that's just a minor flaw. And the other is the price. $2.99 is a little expensive for a chap stick- but since it is all natural I think it is. I am definitly going to buy more of these, in every flavor!

Softlips has several products labeled Pure and I'm not sure the one I got is the same as everyone else is reviewing, so I uploaded another photo of the one I bought. This kind may only be available in Canada as it's not on the main Softlips website. I bought it at Shoppers Drug Mart. It comes in a thick white lipstick-size tube, and the product itself is lipstick-shaped but translucent white. It is EXCELLENT, very soft and moisturizing and the fragrance-free version truly has NO scent or taste. Plus it's all natural. It's almost $6 regular price but I picked a few up on sale. This version comes in mint, bergamot and citrus scents. The bergamot was way too strong for me and I ended up tossing it, but I love the fragrance free and may try the mint.
This is the best lip balm I've ever tried, and I plan to pick up several more tubes. My husband loves it too and he has extremely chapped lips.
Update: downgrading one lippie as it was soft enough that one of mine bent and broke!

Got this in the fragrance-free formula which is packaged differently from the flavoured versions. It is a chubby tube, much like the Labello tubes and snaps shut, so there is no risk of the lid coming off. It glides on effortlessly and smoothly and keeps my lips amazingly moist. I got them 2 for $6 and the local drugstore, and it is well worth it. Highly recommend buying a couple and keeping them in your purse, car etc.

Awesome, awesome lip balm! Goes on so00 smooth and buttery. I got the unscented one and it truly has no scent unlike some other so-called unscented products which have a plastic-y smell. Moisturizes like no other lip balm I have ever tried (and believe me, I've tried A LOT of them) and leaves lips soft even after the product as worn off. Love the packaging too, it's simple, cute and has a slant to the tip like a lipstick. I've already bought a couple backups already!!

Probably the best moisturizing and silky feeling lip Balm I've used. I have it in Honeydew and it really smells like it (because it really has honeydew oils in it). Feels so amazing, no chalky waxy feeling I get with chapstick. I have eczema and this stuff has no irritants. My only gripe is that it comes in such a tiny tube like the rest of the Softlips lip balms and I run out quickly. Other than that, it's so great.

I love products that are 100% natural! It's better for the earth and also better for the body.
This is packaged like a lipstick (twist up) which is different for a balm. It goes on very smooth and smells almost mediciney (but in a good good!).
It has a bit of shine, which is great for me because sometimes I'll be applying lipstick over it.
It's pretty pricey at $549 (Canadian) a tube, but (at this point) I think it might be worth it. :) For reference, I usually spend about $2.79 for a Chapstick.
Overall, a good product!
