I bought this eyeshadow palette because I'm a big fan of gray and black smokey eyeshadows. I think it's the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought! This palette is affordable and is good quality. The eyeshadows are soft, go on smoothly, and blend well. The pigmentation isn't amazing, but it's still pretty darn good. The colors (from left to right) are:
Shimmery white/ivory
Shimmery cool silver
Matte true black
Shimmery gunmetal gray
Matte black with a slight brown tone
I really like that the blacks have a matte finish instead of having a shimmery finish like the other colors because I prefer to use matte colors in my eye crease.
The only complaint I have about this palette is that the eyeshadows can be fragile. I dropped the palette once, causing the ivory to shatter completely, and the gunmetal gray to chip and eventually break apart. I guess that's normal for soft eyeshadows, though. I should have been more careful.
Overall, this is a great palette! I totally reccomend it!

Not a smoky eye person per se but I love this palette - the colors blend well. Staying power isn't the best but I do have to admit I have not used a primer yet. Based on other reviews it seems that the staying power is good if you use a primer. I have to say that I got these super cheap. I went to a Fragrance Outlet and they were selling a ton of palettes for 5 for $20 - so I stocked up and have given them to family members. I have to say that for someone who does not wear a heavy eye on a regular basis this is THE GREAT DEAL of the century.

This is amazing, hands down. Like I needed yet another smokey eye palette, but I had to get this. I'm so glad I did. The shadows are really soft and pigmented. They remind of of UD shadows!
The shades are as follows:
- Eggshell white (a lot like MAC's Vanilla...only pigmented and good)
- Silvery grey
- Warm black
- Warm grey
- Cool black
I think the two blacks is kind of redundant. To me, black is black. No one is going to tell on my face whether it is a cool tone black or a warm tone black!
Other than that, I love this palette! You get 5 full size shadows for like $8 or $9. If you love smokey eyes, this is a must have! :D

This is my go-to palette when I want smokey eyes. The shadows fit into a sleek, black compact that fits easily into your purse/makeup bag. Great for traveling. The shadows are very pigmented without a base and blend well.
Breakdown of colors:
White shimmer, great for highlight
Bluish gray
Soft matte black
Gunmetal silver with less shimmer
True black
I would definitely buy more palettes from NYX.

Another gorgeous NYX creation. A viable alternative to the 10-color Smokey Eyes palette, these are shades of cool-neutral grey, with the two far right colors having a brownish tint not perceptible in the photo. The colors are buttery, silky, smooth, creamy (though they are dry shadows, not "cream"), richly pigmented. The price can't be beat.

I fell in love with these colors when looking at the Caribbean collection so had to get one off cherryculture.com. When I got them in person they looked just as pretty in real life; however, I realized that just about every color is in my only other NYX palette (Smoky Eyes). That was a little of a bummer - they don't write the names of the colors so it is unclear but when the two palettes are next to each other they are pretty much dupes. Oh well, at least the St John thing was only $8

Well, I heard these mentioned SO many times on the boards that I had to see what the fuss was about. I have several NYX singles, which I love, but I heard the trios weren't as nice so I've stayed away from them. These, however, are pure perfection! They blend like a dream, are nicely pigmented, and stay on all day with UDPP. The picture posted above is exactly how they look IRL. They do pull a slightly blue tone on me, but these colors are gorgeous! I bought 4 of these palettes, and this and St. Thomas are my favorites! Highly recommended! They are a steal for $9 (I got mine from Cherry Culture) and aren't available in stores yet. Better snatch them all up before I do!

Really so impressed with the whole new range of palettes from NYX. The texture and quality of the shadows is smooth, true and buttery...these are better than the trios.
I Dream of St John is a grey/black palette, with pale highlight, a silver-grey, a warmer pewter-grey, a deep jet-black and a softer black. The greys are slightly sheer but build up to their true shade, and the blacks are intense and blendable. Available online only at the moment; incredibly priced for a great product!
