I know not many people love this product, but Im actually okay with it. I really wanna have MAC Blacktrack, which i'll probably get for Christmas, but this will do. I really like the brush, and it is actually black on me, not dark grey. My main complaint is durability. Mine doesn't smudge but fades. It's okay though because I really like the packaging. Not UD's best, that's for sure, but a fair enough product.

I always use cream/gel eyeliners, so when this caught my eye i figured i'd give it a go in the quest to find the perfect one. Well...this is definitely NOT it.
The packaging is lovely, so cute and i love that there's a mirror on the inside and there's a brush included. I also think it's a cool idea having the eyeliner in a long strip rather than a round pot as it allows you to get a good 'swipe' at it with your brush.
Unfortunately that's where the love ends, as for me the product itself was just awful. It's greasy, messy, smears everywhere and rubs off really quickly (usually all over my eyelid). But, my main complaint is the colour. On the tester this was a really good pigmented black, but when i actually applied it its dark grey at best, and takes a lot of layers to get it to look anywhere near black.
In the end i chucked the eyeliner part away and kept the mirror for use in tiny bags and the applicator to smudge kohl eyeliner.

I was looking for a new cream or gel liner since I love them and my last one had dried up. I was drawn in by the amazing packaging. I decided to buy it since Urban Decay has a pretty good reputation and pretty much every gel/ cream liner has worked pretty well for me. This was such a disappointment! I personally didn't think the brush worked very well. It was just "meh". I had a hard time applying liner with it because the bristles would get gap-y. I could easily have used a different brush, no problem. The real problem was the product. It went on more dark grey than black and even if I did apply enough for it to be black it didn't matter as it would fade or run every time. I even used a primer and it didn't seem to really help. It just never really set like other liners. I actually returned it, which I rarely do.

I love the packaging for this. As far as the quality, it's actually pretty good. It does smear quite easily, which sucks if you don't use a primer where you place it, but it goes on quite smoothly, and smudges easily for a smokey eye look. SUPER great at conducting the cat eye look. I'd purchase it again, but only if I found it on sale somewhere.

Brought this because I loved the box and I loved the idea of a neat gel eyeliner that I could pop in my handbag and pull out when I needed. If only it worked! Application is terrible, the product just doesn't seem to want to go on my skin at all, let alone stay! I tried multiple primers and powders prior to application, still rubbish. Great concept, great packaging, terrible product.

This is a dry product which makes it very hard to put on. Made a smudgy mess...I was very confused because the testers seemed smooth and creamy.

Up until I started using Illamasqua cake eyeliner this was the best creme/gel eyeliner that I had used. That being said, I didn't care for it that much. For me, it takes longer to apply than pencil or the cake, so I felt like it was something I would only use for special occasions. However, I find that I don't much use it for special occasions, either. I'm not trying to shill for Illamasqua here, but if you're looking to spend this much on eyeliner I would certainly recommend Illamasqua cake eyeliner over this one. Much easier to use/better results.

I like this product sooooo much more than any other creme liner that I have tried! It is easy to apply and smooths on. The color payoff on zero works perfectly for me and I have had no problems with the product not producing enough color. It's so easy to smudge out, build up or just keep a thin line. I would buy this product again! The only reason I gave the overall rating a 4 is because when or if I wing the liner out but apply the liner without applying a primer or shadow beforehand It tends to smudge if I touch or rub my eyes (which I know I shouldn't do-wrinkles!). Beside that I love this Vegan product and I am extremely pleased with it as a creme liner.

I love the packaging for this product; which is what made me want to buy the product honestly..i liked how it was sleek and included the mirror and brush but honestly the brush is a throw away and the mirror is super tiny..The product was just not good.. it smeared EVERYWHERE and felt really oily.. in order for me to use this product i have to put black powder on top of the line..which is not bad; but still a disappointing product.

I have loved Urban Decay's eye make, never been let down... til now. I bought 2 colors and was severly disappointed. The packaging was lovely and the brush it comes with is wonderful. But that's where the praise ends. The colors look great in the pot but hardly show on my skin... and i'm a pale girl! It was such a waste of money and I will never buy it again!!!!!

I can see why there are a lot of bad reviews on this product. I got this eyeliner when I first discovered Urban Decay. This was my first gel liner, so I can't really compare. But at first I was a little disappointed. The packaging is beautiful! don't get me wrong. The brush is really helpful, but when I first started using it, its really easy to smudge, and you would have to go over the line a couple of times if you want that dramatic look. BUT when I got the UB primer potion, the eyeliner lasts pretty long. (well for me). I like this product a lot, but still very easy to smudge. I will still buy this product though, its a good eyeliner, but not the best.

Very easy to apply. Product glides on smooth and it is easy to control. However, it does not stay on for very long. No matter what I do this product fades after wearing it for a couple of hours and creases too easy. Don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible product, but I am more than willing to try out something else when I decide to buy eyeliner again.

Got this as a gift, and I gotta agree with what most people said... it just does not live up to its promises. It smudges, it smears, it's NOT black, no matter how many times you put it on... it just is too much work for me...

I had high hopes for this and absolutely loved the packaging, but this turned out to be a huge waste of money and just sits in my bathroom never getting used. My biggest complaint is that this product disappears from eyes fast fast fast. When trying to smudge to get a smokey/soft look, this stuff just rubs completely off instead of smudging, which makes application impossibly frustrating. I wanted to love this and ended up hating it and wishing I had my money instead. Worst splurge ever.

I have oily eyelids, and I've tried to do the "smokey" eye look and the simple eyeliner on top look, but both have turned out terrible. Extremly disapointed !!

It seems to me like everyone who has this either loves or hates it, so I'm going to get really specific for those deciding if they want it:

Packaging: Super cute, and the brush is soooo good! I use it for all my gel/cream eyeliners.

Application: Pretty good. Not as creamy as some liners but you get good control.

Pigmentation: Also fair. Not the most pigmented but it is a higher quality liner, and the texture is pretty

Staying Power: This is where the opinions diverge. I think that if you have dry skin, go ahead and try this product out (it might work great for you), but if you have oily lids at all that's when it smudges (like for me) and fades the most.

Wow, these reviews are terrible! I don't know if it's a new formula that I got or if it's my climate or skin type but this eyeliner works really well for me! I use it to get a perfect line (just on the top lid - I use a pencil for the lower waterline). i took me some time to get used to and I do have to be very careful but now that I think I've perfected it, it looks really nice. i always get compliments, and I can just make the line a little thicker for a more dramatic look. I really don't know why this has such bad reviews.

you'd be better off putting actual ink on your eyes. this is SMUDGE CITY...don't even bother, it will rub off before you're even done with your makeup. the black is not super black either, and if you set it with black shadow it will all travel down your face. The case is cute but kind of impractical with the half a centimeter wide mirror. pass.

Worst eyeliner I've ever used. Was dry in the component, and smudged before I finished my eye makeup. Overpriced crap.

I bought this liner with great expectations. I will not purchase this again. It could just be me but it never gave me a solid line and it disappeared after just a couple of hours. I wanted a more intense black line but it seemed more gray to me.I will stick with Mac blacktrac fluid line.
