I LOVE this! LOVE it! It makes my hair softer than it's ever felt in my life, and my hair stays bouncy and full of definition until it's time to re-style. I usually use this over a leave-in, and I occasionally use a little pomade on "escapees", but this works beautifully on its own for soft, elongated spirals. When used on soaking wet hair, under my sleep bonnet, I wake up to bouncy hair (that's usually almost dry...) I can't keep my own hands out of my hair, because I'm amazed at how silky it feels. I can't imagine that I'll ever use gel again. This smells delightful.

Great product. It really does work as a 2-in-1 product. I used this for my leave in and my styler. It did a great job detangling my hair. I did my hair in twists and I got a really great hold. I don't care for the smell at all. The texture is thick and creamy. I did not get any flaking with the product, but I did not use any other products with it.

I've bought this product a couple of times and to me, it's just...ok. I really adore the sweet scent but don't expect to smell coffee. The consistency is nice and thick with decent slip. Its not all that moisturizing though. It leaves my hair feeling a bit coated and after my hair has dried it feels slighty parched. The parched crunchy feeling is probably due to the protein. My hair is very protein sensitive. I do like using this to smooth my hair back into a bun though. It goes nowhere near my ends.

This is one that I initially bought online, opened the jar, took one sniff, said "ew" and threw it to join the dead products pile under my sink. My first impression of the smell was that it was sickly sweet and I was afraid it would leave me feeling like a vanilla bomb since my hair is so thick and holds smell for a long time. However, I had to run to the pool yesterday and was out of my ordinary leave-in so I decided to throw this in my pool bag and use it as last resort. I washed my hair and conditioned it with Bumble and Bumble coco creme conditioner. Afterwards, I scooped a good amount of the Curl Junkie product, rubbed it between my palms and placed it pretty much on my entire hair. I let it air dry and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the smell faded (sort of synthetic pineaple more than vanilla). But what really amazed me was how shiny and glossy my hair was, with no crunch and pretty ringletty curls, even after wearing a bike helmet and walking in the windy afternoon air. Today I used it after only conditioning and added a bit of Knot today leave-in and my hair is crunchier and more dull. That's probably due to product buildup and maybe the addition of Knot Today leave in, which I noticed can do this to my hair. Will definitely keep using Coco Curl and may even buy it again. It's cheap and made in Brooklyn, which is a plus.

This is a pretty rich curl cream, almost a leave-in/curl cream combo for me. It leaves my 3A naturally curly hair nice and shiny with good definition and "clumpage". It doesn't give me much hold, so I usually top it with some BioSilk Rock Hard Gelee or LA Looks Sports Gel for hold. Once it's completely dry and I scrunch out the "crunch", it's nice and soft and shiny. It doesn't weigh my hair down, but it does tend to get dirtier a little more quickly than with some other products, so that I can't go quite as long between shampoos. Overall, I definitely recommend it and will keep it in my styling product rotation.
