I bought this as part of the Surf Baby collection. I am a sucker for tinted lip balms and I love this! It conditions pretty well and provides nice sun protection. It also gives just enough color and sheen that your lips look "done" without needing a mirror to apply it. It is somewhat liquidy and just a touch sticky, but nowhere near lip gloss type sticky. I love this and would definitely repurchase it.

When I purchased this, I expected a sheer tinted lip balm, like the liquid version of the MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner. I have never tried a Tendertone so I can't compare the two. However, this product is pretty sticky and tacky for a lip balm. With the stickiness, comes the factor that this product does seem to last longer than average lip balms. There is also virtually no color to this product. I was expecting sheer but I got clear. It does have gold shimmer and it does look nice but I was looking for a slight pink tint. The application is smooth but when the product settles, it feels kinda like glue on your lips. The moisturizing qualities of this lip balm is pretty average. It also has the signature warm vanilla scent MAC products have and I just can't get enough of. It is a bit expensive for a lip balm at $14.50 but sometimes, I don't mind shelling out that much. With the SPF 20, you also get major sun protection.
I would purchase this again because I still like the product. It just didn't live up to my high standards. Hopefully, these will be slightly reformulated for Surf Baby and a bit more pigmentation will be added and the tackiness and thickness will be reduced.

Love, love, love this. Full-spectrum SPF coverage in a sheer clear-pink balm with a heavenly vanilla scent. Just dreamy!

I'm just a tad disappointed in this Suntint. I was so sure it would become HG, after having tried the Fuchsia Fix Tinted Lip Conditioner (which is perfect, except it comes in a pot). The Suntint is not a bad lip balm at all, it's just not absolutely 100% perfect. It leaves my lips wanting just a little bit more, and feeling just a little bit dry. I can see it being perfect in the summer, though. So close, but not quite there. With any other product, I would give it a 5, but with lip balms I'm a tough judge.

I know I am unusual, but I do not like lip glosses too much because I find them too sticky. This for me is the perfect hybrid between lip balm and lip gloss. It is very moisturizing! and soft on the lips. They are very sheer, almost clear, but they look nice on top of lipstick.

I love this lip balm/gloss! its a pretty very very light pink but it makes my lips so nice and smooth, not sticky at all! its long lasting for a lip balm too which is awesome. im thinking of buying another because it is limited edition for summer but 14.50 for a little tube is kind of steep. its the same price as their lip glass glosses so i think it should have some shimmer or maybe a little more color! overall a nice summer product but a little too expensive ultimately for what your getting.

This is an amazing lip balm that is very comparable to the regular one that MAC sells in the tub form. In-fact, this Suntint has qualities that far exceed that of the regular lip treatment. Note: This review is based on two days of usage, so if there are any drastic changes, I will update!

[ PROS ] - longer lasting than any other lip balm (it is sticky like a dazzleglass); extremely smooth on the lips; no gritty glitter/shimmer chunks; very moisturizing (even more so than that of the tub form); not irritating for my sensitive skin, has SPF 20, does not leave a white film after a few hours; applicator makes it easy to apply; has a light vanilla scent that is quite pleasant

[ CONS] - does not taste like anything; on the pricey side for a lip balm; is limited edition

In regards to the color of this, I would say it is an extremely light pink (with the tiniest bit of shimmer) that is barely detectable on the lips. However, with the moisturizing + lasting qualities that this has, I can easily overlook the issue of being sheer. I definitely recommend giving this product a go.
