This is for Sula Paint and Peel in Teal. Nice color very pigmented, nice brush that it not to big or too small. This color has very good coverage but I just do not do well with the peel off aspect of this product, as soon as it dries I find myself peeling it off just for the novelty of it. I will not purchase this again.

Recently I've gotten very paranoid about nail polish being bad for me. However, I saw these on Hautelook and had to give them a shot. I ordered three colors, slate, vermillion, and haze. So far I've only tried Vermillion and slate, but I really like them! I put on three coats for maximum opacity. They do not apply like normal nail polish. They have ridges and are a little streaky. It's not the smooth application you're probably used to.

BUT. There are some MAJOR benefits to this stuff. 1) no base coat needed. I can just swipe on three coats in a hurry, without waiting for it to dry, and within 5 minutes can be poking at it without scuffs. While I normally would not even think of doing my nails right before going out, with this I can throw it on in a hurry. Great bonus. 2) There is no burning smell. It smells like Elmers glue to me. I can stick my nose in the bottle if I want and there's no problem. My boyfriend HATES the smell of nail polish, as in kicks me out of the apartment to do it. I sat right next to him and put this on, no issues. 3) No nail polish remover. I can soak my hands in water, and peel it all off in one go in about 30 seconds for both hands. What this also means is that if I accidentally paint my table or something, I can just wait for it to dry and peel it off.

They do not last long, they are a daily nail polish not a weekly one. They probably won't survive a shower. That's OK with me because it's just so incredibly quick to apply and take off. They dry darker than the color first appears, so keep that in mind. I had a hard time getting the bright vermillion color to look good, but the slate color looks almost perfectly smooth. You'd really have to be staring at my nails to see something was different.

I'm really happy with the convenience and not awful smell. These are seriously great with how fast and easy they are! No taking huge amounts of time to manicure myself, just swipe and go in a few minutes and forget it. If in an hour I change my mind on color, it's a 5 minute fix. Minus 1 star for the streakiness, but this feels so much less frightening in smell and is so quick and easy that it definitely outweighs all the cons!

i had read about this product in instyle magazine, but with a price of $11 i was never going to buy it. i found it for about $4 online. the shade was a coral shade and i fell in love with it. my nails looked longer and smoother. the brush was very nice quality, and it came on very smooth. the only mthing i didn't like was the fact that it came off when i went swimming. i put it on, along with a top coat a few hours before i went swimming and when i finished swimming there was absolutely NO COLOR LEFT ON MY NAILS!!!!!!!!!! overall i liked the product and would reccomend it. just dont wear it to the pool!

Got it dirt cheap at Ulta clearance so at least I didn't spend a fortune an a polish that literally lasts like an hour on my flimsy nails. Maybe the only time I could see using this if I was on my way to a job interview in public transportation and suddenly decided I must have polished nails (I got it in a totally work appropriate pale nude) . It smells like Elmers glue so other people would probably think I'm glueing something. I could not tell if it improved my nails condition in the very brief time it stayed on. Trying to pander it off to my mom, she sounded a little horrified when I described it as glowingly as I could on the phone. I'd probably starve trying to make a living as a used car salesman. Ahem..pre-owned certified vehicle sales consultant.

I bought this at Big Lots in Royal for $2.50.I, personally, really like this nail polish. If you're looking for a hard-wearing, durable nail polish, this isn't it. (Though if that's what you're looking for, why on earth would you buy this, knowing it's a peel off polish, and then complain!?) Royal is a pretty, medium cool blue in the bottle that dries to a deep royal blue on the nail. I have a hard time getting the coats completely smooth, but I *love* that it dries so quickly, and since it's water-based it doesn't stink up the room/car/office/wherever I am painting my nails. I actually used this last weekend to give myself a quick pedicure while riding in the car on a family trip, and it was perfect! Didn't give anyone a headache, and if my brother hadn't seen me painting my nails, no one would have known that's what I was doing! It would be great for those days you want to paint your nails, but don't want to have to fuss with a topcoat or long drying times, or even remover. It would be a nice way to play with more "fun" colors, without having to devote long hours to removing/redoing your polish for, say, a job interview or work the next day. I think they're great, and worth the price I paid for it. I'd definitely buy a few more colors. That said, I know the Sula website is selling them for $9 as a duo with the topcoat they recommend using. So really, it's up to you to decide if this is a fun polish, or not for you.

well i saw this in Big Lots for $2.50 and I immediately thought of the clear little mermaid peel off polish I had when I was two and I just had to get it. Its streaky, splotchy, lumpy, and dries a completely different color, smells like finger paint, and apparently costs almost $10, but its fun as heck to peel off.
I have this in Tango, the blood red color. Its a nice shade of red, but there's no way in hell I would ever spend $10 on this.

I love the color of this product (I bought azure). I was looking for a peel-off, nontoxic polish, and it fit the bill. For what it's worth, it pretty much delivers on what it's supposed to do. It goes on pretty well, and peels off easily. That said--it peels off reeeally easily. Like, often by the end of the first day of wearing it. I wish it weren't quite so expensive (compared to most nail polish--plus you have to pay for shipping).

It's fun for one night at a party...

Love the colors, hate the polish. I like the peel aspect of it but for $9 each I'd like the pain to actually stay on for at least a day. This polish dries kind of matte and within an hour of application this stuff immedately starts peeling. I read somewhere that a top coat would help the staying power but that only made it worse trying to remove it. It doesn't peel off easily with the top coat but removing it with a polish remover is a nightmare. I had to scrape the stuff off! This bottles I purchased were returned to the store for a refund.

This review is for Sula Paint & Peel Moss. The color is a very dark mossy green that looks black in low light, and I think it might be similar to OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. I really like the color, but what I was particularly interested in trying was the idea that the polish would just peel off when you were done. This ended up being completely accurate; I peeled the polish off of each of my nails very easily and there was no residue left behind. However, the wear of this polish is horrendous - it is not intended to be long-wearing, which is probably a good thing because it definitely isn't. After twelve hours, the polish had started to peel back on the edges of some of my nails. Supposedly, the P&P top coat makes it wear longer and still peel off, but I think next time I will just forget the peeling part and wear it with a regular base and top coat. Despite the terrible wear, I really like the color and think the idea of a nail polish you can peel is pretty cool, and I will buy some more if I get a chance.

This polish is really neat!!! I love that it just peels right off when I'm sick of it! It was super easy to peel off too, it all came off as one big hunk, I though I would have to sit there and peel it off piece by piece but that wasn't the case at all! Mine went on very smoothly and evenly, it did take quite a while to dry completely though. I got a pack of three small polishes at Ulta on sale for $5 (originally $13) so they were super cheap, I'm not sure if I would pay full price. I really do love how easily it comes off though, I hate having to bring out the stinky polish remover and spend forever scrubbing at them with a cotton ball...

It peeled off the top layer of my nail no matter what I did. I end up using nail polish remover, which is the opposite of why I bought this.
Smells like kids water colour paints. My colours weren't horrible, and weren't thin or streaky like others said. They've damaged my nail a lot. Will not repurchase.

I purchased this in "Crush" and I must say this nail polish is terrible. It goes on really, really goopy and you cannot get an even application. The color is much darker than in the bottle and as far as I'm aware, it does not peel off! Talk about false advertising!
I've tried so hard to like this polish, but every time I reach for it and try and apply it... I end up removing it and going with one of my OPI polishes. I've finally gathered the courage to toss it in the trash and I'm relieved.

I won this polish in a contest and was eager to give it a try. I'm a regular polish wearer but figured this would come in handy for special occasions etc. when I knew that I would not wear that color to work and removal would be a breeze. I received this in the watermelon color which was a bright pink/coral. Once applied the color is darker than in the bottle. It went on very thin and even with 3 coats I still did not get full coverage. The application was not smooth and lacked that "just polished" look. I hated it and peeled it off within a couple hours. Don't waste your money.

I was not impressed with this product at all. I got 2 sets of 3 mini polishes each on BOGO at Lawtons, and was really excited to try these out because they're free of the icky chemicals and they peel off which sounded really cool. But this stuff applies so streaky, it's ridiculous. And it has no lasting power whatsoever. I applied the polish in the afternoon, went to work that night and by the end of my shift it was dented and peeling and I had to take it all off when I got home. And this stuff isn't cheap either - about $9 for a full size bottle, which is just as expensive as OPI (which I adore). So, save your money. It does peel off well, but the novelty (and the polish) wears off fast!

I really wanted to like this polish but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. When used alone, it is easy to peel off but unfortunately, so easy that it starts to come off in a couple hours. When used with a top coat, it lasts much longer but does not peel of well. In fact, it sticks so well to the nail that it pulls little parts off the nail surface. So much for hoping it would be less damaging to my nails than acetone. I do like that it does not smell as bad as conventional polish.

This nail polish doesn't last at all - not even 24 hours. It does peel off, as advertised. It just peels off IMMEDIATELY. For $9 a bottle I would expect more. I tried it again with a top coat, it didn't make it last much longer and just made it harder to peel off.

My husband and I are going to a rock concert in a few weeks. I'm planning to "dress for the occasion" and wear some punk rock clothes. I was in Ulta this afternoon and walked passed these polishes. There was ONE black left. I picked it up and swiped the brush across my nail. I have to say, the color is STUNNING. It's such a true and rich black that I haven't seen before in a polish! So, I bought it. The concept is definitely cool. The polish peels off COMPLETELY. (Literally in one piece!) So when I got home I immediately filed and buffed my nails to "perfection" before applying the polish. However, I am a little disppointed. The 'paint and peel' effect works a little /too/ well. If you are anything like me and not a professional manicurist, you are likely to get a smidge of polish on your cuticle and along the sides of your nails (especially when I paint my right hand... since I'm right handed and all). With regular polish, it's not such a big deal since you can always use a Q-Tip and remover to dab away the mistakes. (OR, even better, wait until the polish is 100% set and use a nail brush to remove the excess polish. It has always worked for me.) Not so much with the paint and peel. When I tried to peel away the polish just from my cuticle and skin, the whole darn thing came off and I found myself frustrated and painting them again. And again. And again. Finally I conceded in to a topcoat. So far, the polish seems to have set better but I haven't tried to remove the excess from my cuticles. My plan is to wash my hands vigorously tomorrow and see how the polish holds up.

I give it a BIG thumbs up for the color. It is shiny and true to form and very nice. And the concept is really cool. Definitely just the thing I needed to wear for a one night outing. I won't purchase again because I really only bought it as a novelty type thing.

Ohmigosh! Why are there not rave reviews all over the place for this gem? I read about this in Lucky and was immediately intrigued by the clever concept, then promptly forgot about it. I stumbled upon it in Anthropologie the other day and was so charmed by the price and color selection that I just had to take one home.........
THIS IS AWESOME! Its formaldehyde, toluene, and pthalate free, and has a sleek, color saturated, non-metallic finish that is just really chic and pretty. You can paint it on bare for a guilt free, no obligation manicure, since it literally just peels off (the whole nail!) in a day or two. This means no nasty remover, no tacky chipping, no stains, and touch-ups are a breeze! If you want it to last longer, the company reccomends layering with a clear bottom/topcoat (I have had success with OPI). The color selection is spot on chic and playful. I am currently rocking Sky, which is a totally distinctive powdery periwinkle blue that reminds me of blueberries and forget-me-nots and looks impossibly sweet and summery winking up from my toes. I'm going back for Sorbet, a saturated true poppy red, and Dove, a deep cloudy grey, which will be perfect for fall. All the fun, none of the cancer....I'm in love!

Bought this in crush. I have a soft spot for peel-off polish b/c I can remember using it when I was little, and I LOVED it. I'm so happy this company is making it, and I enjoy the fact that there's not really toxic or harmful chemicals in it that are in normal nail polish. It doesn't even really have a smell at all. I enjoy using for the purpose of wearing some really dark or punky color and being able to just peel it off, instead of having to deal with chipping at all, which looks really tacky in my opinion (and isn't really workplace friendly). Going to buy a black and red shade (and hot pink, if they made it!) and maybe green. My one gripe is that it can rub off or start to peel at the tip when first applied, so I have to be careful to let it dry as much as possible. Plus it's great for doing your nails quickly, b/c it doesn't require a base or top coat (and if you use one that's made for normal nail polish, I expect it would maybe ruin the manicure or at the least take away the peel-off effect). The company does make a metallic top coat, if you'd like one, but it's not necessary. Wears for about 24 hours, depending on how often and how long you have your hands in water (for me, it starts peeling off in the shower).
